I bough this for our room when my son was still in his Moses basket with us. Our room
Is always very light so I thought this would be a good temporary fix until he moved into his own room.
When it first arrived and I was taking it out of the packet I was really impressed. The design was lovely, it felt like really high quality fabric. It’s adjustable with Velcro so you can make it fit a variety of windows and there’s loads of suction cups along each edge to attach it to the window.
Unfortunately it was more bother than it was worth. I managed to adjust it with the Velcro to get it a similar size to my window and then it was time to stick it up! What a task, I’d get one or two suction cups on and then as I did the third the first would fall off, I’d stick that back on and the next one fell off. After about 20minutes it would be up but then within 5minutes it was falling down again. I ended up pulling it off and just hanging towels up every night instead. My friend was going to buy one so I gave her mine but she said she had the exact same issues with it.

We got this when the evenings got lighter and it made a big difference. We can still have the windows open while this is up and it's easy to take down, put up and take with you wherever you go. - Strengths:

We recently moved house, we are in need of a curtain rail upgrade in my babies room, however whilst we wait for the help I thought purchasing one of these would be beneficial.
The price was ok, not too expensive but most certainly not the cheapest.
My daughter only has a small window, which meant folding the Velcro flaps in amongst each side to allow it to fit correctly. The suction pads were a bit tricky to stick correctly, I finally got there in the end but I felt the blind looks a bit crumpled and odd in the centre where the Velcro parts were folded in to make the blind smaller.

I really like this and have had it for a while it’s big so it can fit in any window but it can be awkward for smaller windows to correctly fit. I do find that where the suckers are placed it can let some light in if the material isn’t flat against the window. I still think it’s a great product and would recommend it to friends and family. - Strengths:

Fits most windows as it is adjustable. However, the suction pads are a bit useless and the blind fell down a few times before getting the knack of it. Blocked out the light enough to help my little one sleep. Could be cheaper but it did the trick without installing permanent blinds - Strengths:

Luckily I managed to find this second hand for less than half the recommended retail price, I wouldn't have been impressed if I had paid full price for it. The suction pads don't stick very well and fall off the window constantly. Also, it is huge and is a bit fiddly to try and fit a smaller window. Once it has been messed with to fit and the suction pads secured it does do its job and keeps the light out. Great for the sunny summer months. - Strengths:

I love this blind. Ever since the nights become lighter I’ve had trouble getting bubba to bed and then waking my up super early but with this blind she sleeps for about 12 hours most of the time and it blocks out most of the light and can be taken when travelling but the only downside is that you can’t adjust to fit window properly. - Strengths:

This has been a godsend and I don't think I could live without it. I love this item so much! Its perfect for going away for staying with family, the fact its the blind just sicks to any kind of window makes it super easy to use and it keeps a lot of light out so you and little one can get a better nights sleep, i have to admit its not the nicest looking item but we take ours down in the morning anyway its been a lifesaver for us - Strengths:

It has been used in my little boys room for a while until we could get black out curtains for his room, easily transferred to different rooms and when we went away it was perfect to take with us as it was light weight and easily moveable. This is great for holidays. Sticks to windows using rubber suckers. Can be fitted to lots of different sized windows.

Got this for my daughter as she likes her room to be dark at bedtime. It folds really small so can take it away on holiday. The suction cups aren’t as good now it is a bit older and they only stick to window so end up with a gap letting in some light. These blinds are good and much better than some of its competitors however not perfect, does occasionally let light in the sides especially if window is open behind. The window suckers are great and stick well.

This product is very useful to keep the sun out of baby’s room, the material is thick and of very good quality. However, they only do one size so if your window is bigger you struggle to cover all of it. The suction pads aren’t very good either. My black out blind kept coming down. - Strengths:

We bought this initially to take on holiday with us. It’s lightweight, portable and was a lifesaver especially for holiday afternoon naps in the apartment! Easy to put up and take down with suckers and a unisex design. Even when not on holiday these have come in useful; our nursery curtains have had to go in for a dry clean and will take 4 days so with these light summer evenings and early bright mornings normally that would be a nightmare but not with these on hand. No disruptions to my little ones usual 11 hour sleep! (Yes I know I’m very lucky!)

We bought this blind as a temporary cover during the summer for our baby's room and it worked brilliantly. It completely blocks the light so it was much easier to get our baby/toddler go to sleep and stay asleep. I love this. You can take it anywhere, use it at home, grandparents, holidays etc. It's great as it blocks out the light meaning that when you are putting your baby/child to bed if it's still light outside they will still see it as nightime/bedtime. Over the last decade I’ve bought 3 Groanywhere blinds. I can safely say the latest version with the Velcro size adjusters and permanent suction cups is the best design yet. It’s easy to put up and take down and folds up for easy storage or putting in a suitcase.
We have taken these on holiday, used them at home and they do make the rooms much darker, meaning you’re likely to get slightly longer in bed in the morning.
Having said that if you are looking for complete blackout then these are not the blinds for you. They do let some light in and sometimes come unstuck from the window during the night!
On the whole I would recommend this product as they fit most windows and make enough of a difference to the light in a room to help your kids to sleep better. Great for travel too. - Strengths:

Love this product so much that I even got for my own room for in the summer. This packs up easily for travel can be used on almost any window with the suction cups and the velcro which allows you to fold the blind to make it fit smaller windows. The only downside is that the suction cups don't always work as well as one would hope requiring a little bit of moisture in order to stick. Given that we use the blind so frequently in our home I have installed velcro tabs on the window which line up with the velcro on the blind allowing quick up and down without having to fiddle with the suction cups. Easy to use and a great product for allowing you to darken a room mid day which is great. - Strengths:

This product is great for the light evenings and early sunrises, have used for a while with my little girl and makes such a difference in her sleeping!
