When our blinds were delayed by 6 weeks we purchased these blinds for the interim for our kids room and ours.
They are genius!
So easy to put up and take down and they are pretty hard wearing and long lasting.
My only complaint is the suction pads don’t last forever but otherwise a good product for a very good price. - Strengths:

I bought this due to living in a rented house with rubbish blinds which let loads of light through. It was a lifesaver!! It’s really easy to put up and due to the adjustable Velcro fastenings fit even an odd sized old window. My daughter slept so much better once this had gone up and it even helped us through the clocks changing. Now my daughter is 3 we don’t need it any more but have held onto it just in case we ever want to take it with us on holiday or to visit family. - Strengths:

Very easy to setup and put up on any sized window. Still does let in light round the edges but not so much as to wake baby. The carrier comes in handy as it folds down to a small size so can be packed for travel - Strengths:

Took this on a UK break and intended to use to help our 3 month old at the time. Unfortunately however we tried the blind continually fell down. It needs better fixings to support the weight of the material. Great idea but didn’t work for us unfortunately and we resorted to hanging towels other the curtain pole...not ideal. - Strengths:

This is amazing! We purchased this when my daughter went into her room and it works amazingly. No light got through whatsoever which is perfect had she had to have it really dark. Also so handy you can take it anywhere as it attaches to the window my suckers would definetly recommend to any parent!! - Strengths:

I had this blind up for 1 day for when my daughter naps and sleeps on a night. It was a humid day but very little sun and a humid night. The result of this is a cracked window! My window is just under 2 years old. Purchased brand new! There were no issues with this window and no weak spots! I cannot believe this has happened! - Weaknesses:

As the days were getting longer and brighter we needed something to put up in my daughters room as she doesn’t sleep well without darkness. It is extremely easy and simple to put up, just suction pads to stick on the window which you can manipulate a bit to the shape you need. The blind bunches up on our windowsill and takes up quite a lot of room meaning we can’t put anything else up and it doesn’t look particularly nice. However our curtains do cover this and I’m very grateful to have found something portable and effective! - Strengths:

My daughter has a gro blind up in her room permanently. Her bedroom window gets the sun on it all day and her room is far too bright without it. I do find that having this on the window makes the glass and consequently the room very hot. I have a sash windows and therefore it’s a bit hard to open them with all of the suckers attached.
I have two, one is a spare to take on holidays which we have not yet used. A bit fiddly to put on at first, but you soon get used to it. All in all a piece of kit we cannot live without.

We were given one of these and it has been wonderful on our self catering holidays. Often you don't know how light the children's room will be so this is one of the first things that we pack. It has it's own neat little bag and we find it has enough suckers on it to be a tight fit no matter what the shape or size of the window. A total life saver for happy holidays. - Strengths:

I bought this whilst we lived in a temporary house and we werent allowed to put up blackout blinds. This is a good alternative but i did find it difficult to get the suction cups to stick to the windows. By the time i managed to get to the opposite corner the first had come unstuck again. Once it was up and stayed up, it did allow light in around the edges because it had to be stuck to the glass. If it would have stuck to the pvc surround it would have worked much betrer, it still kept the majority of light out however. I found once the blind was up i had to leave it up, as it was difficult to redo each day. It also would fall off after a week or two.
This blind is great for short term use, or to take on holiday. It is easily folded and stored in the small bag it comes in. I do think it is fairly expensive for what it is. - Strengths:

I found the black out blind to work fairly well, it did do a good job however where the suckers had to be on the glass light did manage to get in around the edge. I also found that it slipped down thoughout the night and sometimes corners fell down completely. - Strengths:

Purchased this for a family holiday to a caravan knowing that the curtains on the caravan would be very thin and it was great. It adjusts to the size of the window the Velcro darts and you really can block out all the light.
However the next time we used it we found that the suckers had gone a little hard and didn’t stick properly. This was resolved by putting them into boiling water to soften them again but was a bit annoying. - Strengths:

Purchased for daughters room where lots of light comes through (temporary until can get blinds). She is currently still in our room which can be bright with light mornings, fitted to the window, which is quite large, fits well and hasn’t come unstuck in 3 months, even with hubby opening windows behind it. It has helped with babies sleeping, with the room being darker, even the hubby sleeps past his alarm now. Considering one for older child’s room until proper blinds and purchased. Great as can take down and move to grandparents house if needed, folds up small to transport or store. - Strengths:

This is a great product but not perfect by any means. It really does help to minimalise light but still allows some round edges. If only need for small window can be adjusted but can put pressure on suction pads causing slippage. Defo good and portable, glad we bought this. - Strengths:

This product seemed the easiest option as blinds had broken in the eldest girls room. (Temperary solution ) and it was fab, she loved the stars design. They could even be taken on holiday with us which was great as the accommodation just had thin curtains (was blazingn sunshine) so overall very handy. Though you may need ladders to out up!

This has been great for us we’ve taken it on holiday and whenever we sleep somewhere other than home. We also use it in the summer when the mornings are lighter to try and darken the room more. It does work but the suction pads to attach to the window aren’t great and sometimes come off, also the Velcro strips used to adjust the soze of the blind let light in through the gaps - Strengths:

This blind is great as an every day black out blind as well as for travel. Easy to stick up and remove. Though it can come unstuck easily and let's light in round the edges but it has Velcro on the edges which would probably reduce excess light getting through. All in all a great product and I'd fully regimen it. - Strengths:

Generally this is a great black out blind. We have taken it to the grandparents house as their curtains aren't very dark. Sticks up very easily. Has Velcro so you can make it fit a smaller window. packs away into the travel bag. We bought it on offer. Gro products are well made. Sometimes you have to wet the suction cups or they can become unattached. Generally I would recommend this product. Nice star and moon design. - Strengths:

This product is one of my baby must haves! Especially for mums who travel as its convenient to move and makes any room dark so bed time routines aren't disturbed. My little one is in a great routine at 12 weeks old thanks to this handly blind. The only downside is that it takes a bit of perseverance to get it to stay stuck some of the time! - Strengths:

We've been using these blinds for almost 7 years now. They are an essential when we travel anywhere. They fold down flat so fit in any suitcase and easy to attach and detach again.
They are a limited size so doesn't fit all windows but it still helps even if there are gaps.
Probably slightly expensive but you can usually get them reduced or on sale somewhere. As with all gro products they are excellent quality so totally worth the money. - Strengths:

A very useful product for travelling away from home either on Holiday or visiting friends etc. When you don’t know how dark the room will be. As it fits most window shapes. When trying to use it for a smaller window so less suckers attached it can detach.
Very easy to attach to window glass. - Strengths:

- Strengths:

- Weaknesses:
Frequent moisturing of suckers needed due to weight/size

This product has proven very useful for our family and has even allowed us to have a lie-in! It covered the window well and blocked out the sun really well (probably better than the blackout blind we have fitted). It comes as one big blind so fits on most window regardless of size, however due to its size it is heavy and the 'suckers' come unstuck regularly but just mean it needs 'reapplying' daily. The blind itself is think and hard wearing, even after lots of use and transportation it remains thick with no holes or thinning. The suckers are large enough so if it does fall down it wouldn't present a choking hazard. A very useful product, high quality and worth every penny. - Strengths:
