A lovely rattle and small enough to keep in the changing bag. Baby loves feeling the different textures, although she struggles to make a good rattle noise. - Strengths:

We are big fans of Lamaze in our house and have lots of toys.
The Freddie rattle is fairly big so hard for little ones to hold, my 5 month old is just getting used to him now. So I'm hoping the wings will be good for when we are teething.
He is bright and colourful with beans in for you or your little one to rattle. I find this particularly useful when doing tummy time as it's a great distraction and keeps my little boys interest for quite some time. - Strengths:

I purchased this for my son after borrowing a friend’s. He absolutely loves it, he enjoys shaking it to rattle the beads at the bottom. It has moveable rubber wings to mimic flying, the rubber is soft enough for babies to chew as a teething toy. I think the price is very reasonable and I love the Lamaze toys always good quality. - Strengths:

Son is currently chewing on it now. He loves shaking it and rattling the little beads at the bottom. Can move the wings (so you can mimic it flying, flapping the wings) soft rubber wings to chew on and soft toy head. Downfall is the base is slightly rounded so does fall over and no hoops or anything so you can hang it anywhere unlike all other Lamaze toys. - Strengths:

- Strengths:
Brightly coloured and easy for small hands.
- Weaknesses:
No hook (unlike the Lamaze plush toys).

We were bought this a present; but having seen the price online I think it’s fairly reasonable. Freddie is a great toy for taking out and about; though as it is without a hook it is often dropped (or thrown) ?. Freddie is engaging and brightly coloured, as is to be expected from Lamaze toys. He has a rattle, a plush head and then four wings which rotate and have different textures, so they are great for both engaging smaller babies in sensory play and they also work nicely for older babies once they start teething. - Strengths:

Description
Lamaze’s Freddie Firefly rattle provides a cognitive experience while your child plays. Thanks to Freddie Firefly’s innovative shape, it is easy to hold for small hands. His head is made of soft fabric with a smiley face and ribbon tentacles. The thorax is a collections of multi-colour teethers and wings. Freddie Firefly’s wings are made of different materials to help provide relief from sore teeth. The bottom of the toy includes a see-through rattle.
