I bought one secondhand with a tray as they're quite expensive new. Although my boy can sit unaided, we have a wooden high chair that he finds hard to sit in as it's quite wide and so we use this as a high chair for now and it does the job well - the tray means he can feed himself easily. It's useful for taking to friends and family too. Just never leave baby alone in it as they aren't 100% stable and my boy has worked out how to shuffle it around. Overall a great product but I wouldn't buy one new!

The bumble is a great seat. It has a strap in to secure little one- however I could not do this up as there was not enough space to get to the middle buckle with my little one in. The seat did not last THAT long. If baby has chunky legs then the seat will get stuck to them and it is a amusing thing watching to get them back out. For a short use and easy to take around with me the seat was useful.

We bought this while we were deciding what high chair to get and it was great for what we needed it for. It also comes in super handy when we go to someone else’s house who doesn’t have a high chair we just take the bumbo along . However the amount of use you get out of it is determined by the size of your child. As the leg holes are pretty tight!

My nieces (10, 8 and 7yo) had Bumbos and they had no straps, with my 4yo and now with my 7 month old they've had straps, I still think they're brilliant seats and so useful but the straps seem uncomfortable for the baby. And unnecessary if the chair is used correctly and not on a counter top or unsupervised. It would be nice to still have the no straps option. I got it with the tray for my eldest but found it difficult to use so didn't bother with the tray second time round.

Learning to sit independently is a dynamic process that includes learning to control the head, trunk and pelvic position, how to move in and out of sitting, how to rotate and weight shift, and how to use anticipatory and protective balance reactions to stay upright.
My little one is a baby on movements...constantly and so after a while he gets bored.
Definitely really helpful for wining and it can be put either on the floor or on the table making the hole process easier.

The seat is great for allowing baby to sit and look around and also learn to sit up, it allows me to get on with jobs as I can move it easily around the house. My baby is quite big and does not fit comfortably when the tray is added on which is a pain as he cannot reach toys not on the tray

This products is great for our 16 week old baby. He loves sitting up and needs the extra support. Seems very stable so no risk of him rocking it over. Really easy to clean. We were gifted ours by a friend, so seems hard wearing. Cost would be the only negative for me, as very pricey brand new.

I found this really useful to allow my daughter to sit up and see the world, she really liked sitting in it. We used it when she first started to wean and it was ideal. It's very sturdy and she fit snugly in so she was well supported.
My only issue would be the price being a little high for the amount of time you can use it, and when using the tray attachment it's a little fiddly to get on and she could just remove it very easily.

This is a nice product. It is easy to wipe clean, small for storage and lightweight. The issue I had was. That mine didn't have any straps in it so my little boy kept trying to get out of it so if you turned your head your baby could fall by trying. To get out of it.

Having had one of these for my young boy, it was great for supporting him when he wanted to sit up. Only thing was that he was a big child and therefore I felt like he couldn't get the proper use age out of the seat due to it not being suitable.

Bought this when our daughter was about 3 months old and trying to sit up. Loved it for a while but by 5 months our daughter had outgrown it. Quite pricey for it to only last so long. Daughter fitted it perfectly aside from in the leg area. Babies have chunky legs and this seat is not made for that. Because of how tight it is I found it hard to use the straps.

I used this more with a 6month old as it was easier to feed her the spoon feeds while she sat in this product. Now that she is 9months I can no longer use it as she is determined to push on the floor to get out of it and it has very nearly tipped over with her learning to and fro. My advise is to use this item until their feet can touch the ground in it.

This jumbo seat as definitely helped my sanity ! I use ours all the time - my daughter sits in there whilst I do chores. It’s great as she’s comes with me in every room and I can engage and chat to her whilst get a few things done! The tray is a nightmare though ! It’s so difficult to get baby in and out with tray on and you can easily put it in once baby is in the seat.

He loves sitting in this, helps him sit up better, the tray is fab when it's on, for his toys and bottles, but trying to get the tray on isn't easy. It also gets stuck on his legs when taking him out, so haven't had much use out of it which is a shame.

This is a useful seat for babies who aren't yet sitting and is easy to transport as a travel highchair. It is easy to clean. I found the tray hard to pull off which was tricky. I found once baby was mobile he was not interested in sitting in it. So it had a small window of use.

I love the bumbo seat. I have used it for all four of my children. They are quite expensive but mine has lasted 11 years so i cant complain. The colour does fade over time and you have to be careful not to let baby bite it as it is just a foam. I found when my babies were around 4 months they liked to be sat up for short periods of time and look around. The bumbo seat is brilliant for this as it provides a safe seating area and helps build up the muscles needed to sit up. It also helps to keep an older baby in one place but normally by around 8months they work out how to get out. Its nice and light weight too and if you buy the tray you can use it as a feeding spot for first weaning.

These are good, my baby loves to sit in it as it means she can sit on her own. They are expensive for what they are, I really don't think there is any need to be so expensive. Go for a second hand one if possible!!

A friend lent us one to use with my son, but found it so difficult to get him in it. The strap between the leg would get in the way! The leg holes also seem quite small, but then my boy has got quite chunky legs!
Overall it's good to help babies sit, who can yet do it unaided, but personally didnt like the straps. I've since bought one second hand which doesn't have straps and found it much easier to use.

So my 4months old son has just started to use his and he loves it however as he is on the chunky side..takes after his mum in the thigh department...I don’t see him being in it for too long as even at present his wee thunder thighs are squished into the leg space!!
His one has a tray with it which is a fab idea
It’s very durable, portable and easy to store which is great! However my little chunky monkey might not be in it for too long for me to be worrying about him trying to get out of it! Good product though all in all

My little one is 4 months and this is great for him now to help him sit, it’s so easy to clean and I like that it can be used with and without the tray. The disadvantages are that I’m not sure how long it will last..we already have difficulties getting his legs out and for that reason it is a little pricey for the limited time its used.

Absolutely love my bumbo seat! My little boy is 5 months and we pop him in the seat to feed him rather than in a high chair. He also loves sitting in the chair and watching what’s going on. I bought mine second hand as I feel it’s a little expensive for what it actually is but apart from that it’s great!

I loved the idea of using one but then felt my son couldn’t do anything like play with his toys as he was firmly fixed and his toys couldn’t be closer enough for him, I think I def needs the tray so you can have the toys close for them to play with, as my son would just sit and get frustrated
