Bumbo seats are brilliant! My little one used hers from 3 months and still uses it now (9months old), they are really supportive when babies are little and have straps for security! The tray is good, but tricky now baby is more interactive and pulls tray off, even when fully secured! Baby is also getting a little chunky for the leg gaps but she is getting older now! Get way to start weaning even when baby isn’t quite steady enough for a high chair! Can play, eat and entertain themselves! Great seat. -

Overall it is a great product! Promotes sitting upright for your baby, also easy to move from room to room whilst doing things around the house. It doesn’t take up much room. Although my baby doesn’t like to be Sat in it to long. We do some meal times sat in it as the tray keeps clothes from getting messy.
The tray is very hard to get on whilst baby is sat in the seat, it attaches to the bit in between the leg holes and the bottom of the seat were you would have to tip the baby seat to get the tray on although once on i can put his toys in reach, so seems to work for us, the price is quite steep for how much we have actually used it, but that’s different for all baby’s.. also lots of colours to choose from. We went for aqua.

I love the bumbo easy clean great for when they are little to give them a different position to play and watch. Used mine a lot in the early days to get jobs done while they were close. Great to take swimming for the changing room either with a singletons or twin and I could safely put one of the twins in the bumbo while getting the other dried or dress and for a singletons I could put them in the bumbo while I got dressed. Once you start weaning they are good as easy clean especially with the tray but onve the get to around 15lb and can rock I worry they could tip backwards and if baby has chunky thighs they can be difficult to lift out. - Strengths:

We used the bumbo floor seat from when lo was 2 months old as she could hold her head up and wanted to sit constantly. Only just stopped using it at 8 months as her thighs got too big. (Had to stop using the tray at 6.5 months). One of the best things that we bought as we used it for feeding as well - Strengths:

This lawsuit was amazing for when my child was at the in between stage of not being able to move very far but wanting to do more! The only issue is say is that chubby babies may get there legs stuck! - Strengths:

These are great for babies that can't quiet sit up without slumping after a while, my dd loves to sit up and watch me cook etc but didn't get much support from her high chair but this is brilliant. - Strengths:

The bumbo seat was great once my daughter could hold her head up on her own. it was a nice seat to have when weaning or just to have little one near us. We never left her alone in it and found that it was very sturdy. Never put it on a raised surface as babies move around so much and can fall out. Easy and light to take out with you if you need a little seat for your baby. Wipe down and easy to clean - Strengths:

Bought it second hand. It came with a tray, but does not have the safety straps.
I like the material as it is easy to look after but does not feel plastic and cold.
Baby loved it at first, because for her it was a whole new view to the world, and with a toy or two on the tray it was lots of fun. However, once she was a bit more comfortable sitting by herself, she started arching her back and wriggling her bum, wanting to get out of the bumbo. I planned to use it as a seat for weaning, but she just does not like being in it anymore.
I would not recommend buying it full price as chances are your baby won't like it and even if they do you can't use it for very long. Also, internet is full of the used ones for very little price. - Strengths:

Great little seat for before baby can sit up right alone. My boy loves it as he can see what’s going on. Will also be great when he starts eating as can take it with us and use it on the floor to feed him in. Love that it has straps to keep him in place too. And the tray is great for toys.

I really like this product, I can put my little one in while I do the cooking, cleaning etc and she can sit up and look around, it’s also handy to take to friends as a seat. It’s foamy so looks comfortable, just think it’s quite expensive for a bit of foam. Wouldn’t recommend buying one full price as lots on 2nd hand websites. - Strengths:

It was good while my daughter fit I to it, we could put the tray on with some toys and know she was secure before she could sit up by herself. However, her thighs would get stuck and it was difficult to get her out after using it for a few weeks. We'd have gotten more use out of it if the middle part was removable. - Strengths:

These are essential to keep baby upright during first stages of weaning.
They are light weight and very portable but a bit bulky. Very durable and easy to clean but sometimes stain/ loose colouring with age. They don’t use these for very long before moving into a high chair so unless buying second hand they are expensive.
Also take notice of safety advice as babies are masterminds of escaping and keep the seat on the floor. - Strengths:

It’s very good product, it’s just not for every child. chunky child might not fit theirs tights in small holes. Can be used to help child sit straight, can be use as well for feeding or playing - Strengths:

My son had this 7 years ago and absolutely loved it so we had to get our new daughter one when she was old enough and showing signs of wanting to sit up and not be help constantly, she can sit there safe knowing I'm right there while she plays with toys and I can tidy, excellent seat would definitely recommend! - Strengths:

Having heard so much about the bumbo from other friends and family we bought one when my little girl was around 3 months old. Some say it helps strengthen little ones core and enables them to sit up faster but we didn’t but it for that purpose. We used the bumbo for taking as a portable feeding chair to grandparents and friends and it was so handy to have. It’s small enough to just throw in the car but sturdy and strong and provides a handy place for easy feeding when weaning on the go. - Strengths:

This seat has been helpful in the sense that when I’ve needed to do things, like shower, I’ve been able to place my baby in it and he’s happy to sit and play for 5-10 mins. It’s also helped him to strengthen his Corey muscles being put in a seating position like that. - Strengths:

The bumbo is a nice product but I don’t think I would buy it again. It’s good for helping baby sit up straight if they are the kind of baby that sits still, my little girl is a fidget so isn’t suitable for her. She can’t really do much else in it other than sit which I understand it’s just meant for sitting but found the bouncy chair a lot better for her as she’s still quite small but wants to do more. It is good for weening though as baby can sit upright and still.

Great colour options available, nice and sturdy when baby is able to sit up - overpriced. Only used a handful of times - he’s legs got stuck in it too so when I tried to pick him up the seat came with him.

We loved this product. My 5 year old used this and it really helped strengthen his back. I don’t think there is anything nearly as good as this on the market. It’s comfortable to sit in, it’s sturdy and lasts for years. My niece used it and she’s now 9, my nephew, then my son, my other nephew and now my youngest who is 9 months (but only used until he was 8 months). I wouldn’t recommend using it after 8 months as my baby tipped himself out. The table can be a bit of a pain to clip in at the bottom but very secure once it’s on. It’s easy to clean so when baby throws up or if you have a messy eater like mine, you just need a wipe/cloth to clean it.

Bought this second hand for my little one, after a quick clean was good as new. No marks, as it’s strong and durable! Ideal for little ones who are getting bored of staring at the ceiling on a mat! Helps them to look around and enjoy surrounding. Can get bored very easily though. Not ideal for chunky thighs tho ?

My little boy really loves his bumbo seat, it’s squishy and comfortable it comes up his back to provide support as he is not yet sitting unaided this is brilliant! It comes in a range of colours we have a blue one. We use this seat to play in and have also brought the tray so sometimes we have snacks in it too. - Strengths:

Love the baby bumbo in purple with a tray. My baby holds her head up so this bumbo is great for her to support her more. She plays with her toys on the tray and I’ve just started giving her baby rice so this chair helps when I feed her!
