I bought this product mainly for the price. In fact I lost one so I bought it again late one night when Tesco was the only shop open and my daughter was burning up with fever. Tried it on both of us that evening and we both got the same reading of 34.5 degrees! Didn't seem to be very accurate. Easy to use though and a great price. - Strengths:

It does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s not fancy or particularly pretty but it works perfectly fine. Seems silly to pay £100 on a thermometer when you can get one that does the exact same for £5! - Strengths:

I use this to keep in my changing bag, it does what it’s supposed to and Iv had no issues with it and even works at giving a reading faster then my previous one of a similar style - Strengths:

Much cheaper than an ear thermometer, easy to use and easy to read - and it’s good to have in your baby bag instead of the bulky ear one.
I find it hard to use on my 1 year old as he won’t stay still long enough for a good reading, but great for my 4 and 6 year old. - Strengths:

Not the best way of getting babies temp. Very hard to get atemp from a screaming or wriggly baby takes too long to read. Better for older children that understand. -

This thermometer is great if you are going to use it on an older child of understanding to sit nice and still for a period of time, I wouldn’t try and use use on young children or babies again - Strengths:

i wouldn't use this on younger kids and they wouldn't sit still long enough, even me i find it takes to long to take your temperature and after a while it does start hurting the bit under your tongue, which is annoying but the price is good for what you get - Strengths:

I got this as it was cheap it's very small and compact my boy is still young do ge just tried to eat it. I'm sure as he gets older will be easier for me to use on him. Overall a good product - Strengths:

Its amazing! So simple to use! Reads temperature very quick, lets you know when its done reading by beeping for a few seconds. Use it for both older kids and babies by putting under arm. Definitely worth my money.

I've had one of these for the family, before I got pregnant and have used it through my pregnancy.
They are a standard thermometer and a practical instrument.
Now I am pregnant I am looking to get one that just goes on the forehead but this is fine for anyone that is not a tiny baby.
It's a basic piece, and it does the job but, I can't get excited about something that hasn't a 'look' to it... it's rather like a fork, it does it's job well... that is all you want. - Strengths:

Ideal product to use on children and even babies that will shut their mouth or even put if under their arm. worked well for us even on the under 1 who pulls everything off his head and doesn't like things in his ear so other types of thermometers wernt ideal, as he could see it the whole time and was buisy watching it we get decent readings from it. I bought this initially to use in my baby medi kit in the changing bag for out and about but have used it more times at home. It’s so easy to use, soft and easy to hold in place under the armpit, even with a wiggly baby. The display is clear and the one button keeps it simple to switch on and off. A definite necessity for fast use in a parent/carers home, car, changing bag, suitcase, anywhere! - Strengths:

I was given this in a little hamper of new baby things. I'm a bit of a baby stuff snob so didn't think I'd use it, however my daughter was jaundiced after birth and I used this to see if she was feverish as she slept constantly.
