Our life saver. Had problems with my milk supply so needed a formula milk. My little girl had no problems after drinking Aptamil one, jowever when she was 3 months old she has got a rush so doctor advised to use Aptamil pepti.
We have always used aptamil for both babies but sadly the ingredients were recently changed which has resulted in many babies reacting to it and making them sick. Sadly this happened to our baby too. I wouldn't recommend the new version of this due to the amount of babies reacting to it. The old version was so much better.
I have been giving this to baby since he was a newborn as I wasn't producing enough milk so I had to follow on by giving him a bit of formula sometimes. He's always drank it really well. Although I found that as I was only giving it to him sometimes I used to throw a lot of it away as it can only be open till up to a month. It'd be nice if aptamil and other brands did a smaller size for people like me who only use it as a substitute occasionally, baby didn't like the ready made bottled formula so I had no choice but to use powder. Aptamil is also more expensive then other brands so it does get costly.
Good strong container, and handy leveller inside tub
Weaknesses:
Inside starting foil can sometime not completely come away

my grandaughter has been on this milk since birth for 11months now and has digested it lovely never been sick on it like she was on another brand, so had to change. She has grown up nice and strong and healthy due to this milk. I would recommend it.
Pack size now changed down to 800g for the same price

I decided to combination feed my baby and after having no issues with aptamil for my oldest I went back to the brand I know. They have recently made changes to the formula which had mixed reviews but so far I haven't noticed any issues. The only thing I'm slightly annoyed about is that you now get less in a tub for the same price as before.
The storage container has a built in scoop holder and scrape
Weaknesses:
The lid can sometimes pop open if the tub gets knocked over.

After the recent change in the ingredients of aptamil formula I can say that this is still the best milk to buy for your baby. My son was on the original formula and has now changed to the new formula. At first my son seemed to be a little bit more sicky but after 24 hours that went back to his normal self. The formula requires a little more shaking but that's about it. Son loves it and a happy baby is a happy parent I say.
Now the formula has changed I find the powder doesn’t mix well. It stays bitty and clings the bottle even with a vigorous shake I cannot get it smooth.
With this consistency the teat can get clog and this disrupts feeds
This wasn't the first milk I tried with my baby. I tried 2 other brands first. I had planned on breastfeeding but after a few weeks it hadn't worked out. He tried 2 different brands, one given in hospital and one I changed to when I got home. Both gave him bad colic, wind and reflux so I did some research and changed to Aptamil stage one milk. He is still on it now at 9 months and it has been the best milk. Gentle on his tummy, easily mixed so not left with any lumps. The tub is sturdy and the lid clips shut tight to keep it airtight. My only issue is the price. At £11 for 900g (or 800g if you get the new recipe tubs) it is one of the more expensive brands but it does last a while and is one of the better quality brands so I would recommend it to new Mums unsure which milk to try
I used aptimal on my son for the first 3 months and found he was always having trapped wind and was very sicky I personally felt the formula didn’t mix great and always had clumps left in the bottle after shaking for the recommend time on instructions I changed to mamia milk and felt it mixed 100% better and didn’t have the foam on the top of bottle and within a day it was as if I had a new baby who’s wind came up like a dream.
Fantastic milk, was wonderful to use for my 1st born when I couldn't breastfeed. Good quality milk full of lots of nutritional value with made me feel very happy in my decision to use it.
This formula caused a very upset little girl, it curdles as soon as its made and led to 13 weeks of being colicky. Worse since the new recipe which aptimil refuse to disclose.
Baby doesnt suffer with constipation, price seems good compared with others
Weaknesses:
Since packaging has changed, there is 100g less in container

I have always used Aptamil and often use Profutura but i cant see the difference between the 2. I am very happy and have no reason in wanting to switch to another brand as my son seems to agree with this milk. He doesnt have constipation and easily burps after.
Changed to this from cow&gate. Heard this was amazing for babies, especially as I wasn't breastfeeding so wanted my son to have all the nutrients. He is liking it so far, his growth has been amazing with this milk. Its very easy to prepare with clear instructions on the box. However, its very expensive considering my son finishes the box quite quickly. Would be ideal if the price was reasonable. The smell isn't great, but thats to expect from all formula type of milks.
Easy to use. Particularly while holding a baby in one hand. Instructions are easy to understand. My son has a bottle before bed and it fills him up nicely which means he sleeps for quite some time. Big bonus!
I think this really helped fill my little girl and believe it had an over all effect on her mental and physical capabilities. I would use this again and recommend it every time.
I started my girl on sma as this was the in milk but she really didn't take very well to it and made her poorly so changed to aptamil and never looked back never had a problem with either child and will be using it again.
I mix feed my DD and have used this brand from the start.
The packaging is very clear and has a very useful dosage guide on the side of the box. This guide is better split in smaller increments of dosage than other brands, taking the guessing work of how many spoons to use if the amount in millimetres is not on the conversion list.
It mixes really well with minimal effort and doesn't tend to leave lumps or unmixed granules.
This formula I've used with both my boys. After trying a few other brands this is the only brand i have found which agrees with both my boys and never made them poorly.
Its very reasonably priced and i would highly recommend.

We had a lot of trouble when my baby was born with her taking and digesting her milk so we changed her onto aptamil first infant milk and she was so much better on this than any other formula easy for her to digest no constipation and great nutrition for baby’s! Great product would highly recommend.

I used this on my little boy after breast feeding failed. He took to it very well though did seem to have a few problems. If we had to buy another brand if this was out of stock he would scream as soon as another milk touched his lips. We did find out he had a serious milk intolerance but this brand never particularly upset him.
I have used this product with both of my children since birth. It is a great alternative to breast milk. I have had a couple of issues with both of my children having reflux however have not had to change the milk. I would say the downside is the cost as it is one of the more expensive brands, as a tub would tend to last about a week on average. However the quality and ease of preparation is very good. I would definitely recommend this to people.
Easy to prepare. Trusted brand. Clear instructions and information.
Weaknesses:
Cost. Not great for gripy babies; you would need to switch to Aptamil Comfort.

I have used this milk with both my babies and wouldn't use another brand as both babies have got on well with it. Second baby was gripy so switched to Aptamil Comfort for a while but that settled and we switched back to this one. Easy to use with clear directions for preparation and other information.
