I have used this milk for my son. I was breast feeding to start with but he was never full enough so I combined formula milk with breast feeding.
My little one loved it from beginning. No problem with digestion. -

When my little boy was born we started him on aptamil but he suffered really badly with wind, sk my health visitor suggested we swapped his formula, changed to cow & gate and it was brilliant he was a completely different baby, he was bringing his wind up better and seemed more content on cow & gate. - Strengths:

I have used this product for all of my children and will use again for my newest arrival, I tried other brands with my first but they made her constipated so tried this one and had no problems. I used it straight away with my second and never had any issues at all. -

I couldn’t breast feed due to babies jaw so when coming to pick a formula to use with a screaming baby out of hospital was stressful however was recommended by a friend who used it - my little one is now 11 months and happy and healthy this milk has kept her full and healthy and given her all she needs. - Strengths:

My baby went on to formula after 12 weeks of breastfeeding and I have found that he really enjoys it. I was worried he wouldn’t accept it after tasting breast milk but he loves having a bottle! It also doesn’t upset his tummy. I wouldn’t use any other formular. - Strengths:

My little 1 is combination fed so i tried the cow&gate 1st milk as its supposed to be the same as aptimal but cheaper witch it is slightly cheaper but unfortunately it doesnt seem to agree with little 1 as it give him bad acid and makes him sick unlike the aptimal. -

Use this formula for son after difficulty breast feeding. Great mix no clumps like some, son took to it easily. I found he went a little longer between feeds and it didn't upset his stomach. - Strengths:

I have used Cow and gate on both my children and had no issues with it. The tubs are very easy to use with a handy holder for the scoop when not in use. I find the leveller is great and easy to use especially when trying to make a feed one handed. - Strengths:

Just started using this and so far it has Been really helpful. It is easy to use, doesn't smell horrible, reputable brand so I know they use safe ingredients.
Baby seems to enjoy it and has never turned down a bottle with it. Can be a little lumpy if not stirred correctly but I use either a tiny whisk or just shake really fast after mixing with a fork.
Will continue using this product until I wean her onto food.

I've used sma with all my children. Never found any issues and has always been easy for them to digest. As I'm now expecting again we probably would go back to sma. The price could be improved and the latest packaging is a lot nicer and easier than the old ones. -

With baby #1 I used SMA formula and it was perfectly fine but this time for baby #2 I decided to go with price.. this formula is usually £8.99 which works out approx £1 cheaper.. I've found it just as good as the SMA. - Strengths:

Make bottles can be stressful but with the extra bit on the side to level the scoop makes it easier and cleaner i also love the scoop holder on the lid saves using a powdery scoop. I also changed to cow&gate with my 3rd child and what a massive difference he was so much more settled and digested his milk better. - Strengths:

My child loved this milk I will use cow and gate in the future. And it is easy to use and reasonable priced. I have to change my child of of sma infant milk and went on cow and gate and never looked back. -

We have recently switched from breast feeding to formula and after trying a few other brands have found our baby will only take this one.

This milk powder has been on hand at many of my local stores so I never need to panic .
It is full of all the ingredients needed to help the babies grow. Very easy to follow instruction on the side of the box . The only flaw the current storage box has is the foil lip inside it, prevents you being able to get the last bit of powder out.
