I bought these teats after doing a lot of searching for which bottles are better for breastfed babies. My usual favourites were Medela Calma or tommee tippee for my first child, but my exclusively breastfed baby said a firm no to these!
After a lot of searching on mums group and looking at other online reviews I gave these a go. They're so cheap, I thought there's nothing to lose really.
Well, I made my girl a bottle and incredibly she took to it immediately! The soft texture is so different to that of a silicone teat it moulded to her so much better, and she took the full feed without a fuss! It is easy to clean, and does it's job perfectly.
I believe these teats are only good for up to 6 months as they are not the biggest and are more designed for a newborn latch, but by 6 months my daughter had already learned to comfortably use this shape teat she was happy to move on to the silicone nuk teats. I'm definitely very happy I bought this, and have been recommending it to all my breastfeeding mummy friends!
*The photos attached are after regular use for 6 months. Still work perfectly.*
My little girl was born at 37+6 after being induced as she was measuring small, she was 5lb 5oz. I tried my best to breastfeed but baby wouldn’t latch so we went on to formula. For the first 2/3 weeks these were the only teats my baby would take a feed from after trying various brands and I wish we had tried them sooner and saved ourselves money. The latex was perfect for her in the beginning but as she got older the teat just kept caving in so we changed to silicone teats in a different brand however I would 100% recommend these to small babies who are struggling to feed as these were a lift saver in the first few weeks of her life.
This is closest and softest for preterm infants and they are especially useful during the phase of combination feeding. However, I personally don't like the color and the added factor that their color fades quickly and they need to be replaced sooner that silicone ones
My son has a heart condition so struggled to suck the silicon teats as they would make him out of breath. The latex teat is great and so soft. The only thing bad I can say is that the latex teats do not last as long as silicon.
After using it handful of times I decided its not product I am satisfied with as my baby was choking when drinking through it. I did however feed baby expressed breast milk so this product might preform better with formula.
I purchased some of these because it was the only teat my preemie girl would drink from in hospital, at first I thought they were amazing as they got my baby drinking from a bottle.. just a very short while after they started to collapse and stick together.
Perfect design and feel for breastfed baby to get used to

The teats are brilliant as they are soft and perfectly shaped for a baby, they are the only ones my exclusively breastfed little boy would take to so I would be able to combination feed, he is now able to take to the silicone ones with no problem. Would highly recommend these as a first teat for baby, I believe they have also helped my baby not get confused between breast and bottle and takes to both fine.
This is the only teet my baby will take when transitioning from breast to bottle so we are stuck but these teets are awful I have to repurchase every month as they don’t last and even the new teets collapse when baby is sucking on the bottle despite checking the air holes are clear.
Texture of the teat is more like the nipple than standard teat

These teats were a life saver! My boy is primarily breast fe, at first he refused normal teats and wasn’t fused on a bottle but will now take a bottle happily, even from me! The teats are soft, have a nice flow and nice feel. They wash easily and so not need replacing often (disclaimer, I’ve been using for 4 months so can’t state longer than this). I love the teats and so does my baby.
Perfect for breast fed babies first bottle teat. Latex seems to be the way to go if you want an extra soft teat. The shape allows baby to latch with ease and the flexable latex molded to her mouth far better than any sillicone teat has.
The only draw back is that latex isn`t as hard wearing as sillicone so the teat needs replacing more often.
Fast flow teat ideal for babies not sucking well yet

None when used as above

Our son arrived 4 weeks early and was very hard to feed in hospital as he was very sleepy and small. He wasn’t able to breastfeed so we ended up using the yellow teats provided by the hospital for babies that are struggle to suck.
These were a game changer and really helped in getting our little one to feed as he didn’t have to make too much effort. When we went home we had to do and emergency or for some NUK bottles and teats as it was the only teat he was able to feed from.
We stopped using them after 3/4 weeks as he became much stronger and was able to suck much better which meant the flow was too quick and caused him to gulp too much milk in one go.
For early babies struggling to feed I would say these are a really great product to try and certainly made a massive difference for us at a time when feeding was paramount to get our sons weight up.
I bought 2 of these teats (size M) and they keep collapsong several times throughout the feed as if my baby was suctioning too hard. Since then I hve bought the silicone version. It is not as soft but does not collapse throughout the feed
My daughter was born early and we were actually advised to buy these by a midwife, their fast flowing test meant she could access the milk easily even though she was really small. Also extreme helpful when a dr prescribed acid reflux formula as the thicker formula didn’t flow through the teats in any of our other bottles
My breastfed baby struggled taking bottle and after some fussing took it with easaly. And now when she is teething she likes to chew on it and small bottle is perfect for her to hold it.
Good product
I had tried my little girl with loads of different teats. The return to work was fast approaching and our options were fast depleting. She ad suffered with her belly as a new born. She had colic. I was trying to give her expressed milk so that her dad could share some of the feeding responsibilities, but it didn't matter what I tried her with, it only seemed to get worse. Then she stopped taking it all together. I bought a 4 pack of NUK bottles. They came with the silicone teat, and she didn't take to it, she didn't like the texture. I don't know about anyone else's breasts, but mine certainly don't feel like a silicone teat. A friend had managed to get her little one on the bottle using the latex version. Having already purchased the bottles, I thought I'd give them a go before passing the bottles on to someone who may actually have a use for them. I ordered them, £3.99 for 2, not bad, and eagerly anticipated their arrival. I was not disappointed. They had to have a really good clean initially to remove the latex taste but after that are just as easy as any other product to clean and sterilise. Baby took to it right away. I could see that the teat had some move in it to mould itself to her mouth. This gives it a more natural feel that silicone. I could also hear the air escaping out of the air lock so was reassured that it wouldn't have such a bad effect on her stomach (I had tried other anti-colic products and didn't feel like they improved anything). I feel that the anti-colic claim is actually true.
I would not purchase another brand of bottle and will use this brand again and again for any future offspring.
affordable and baby took to them straight away no issues

hard to get hold of without ordering them online

My baby was premature the plan was to exclusively breastfeed but due to her need medication in a bottle I had no choice but to introduce a bottle early on into our breast feeding journey she took to the teat straight away no issues they came highly recommended by the staff on the neonatal ward. They caused no confusion what so ever and she still latched onto the breast perfectly.
The latex teat feels more like skin so baby takes to it better than silicone
Weaknesses:
Only weakness is because of the shape, it’s annoying to clean but not too bad

My son suddenly refused to drink from the bottle, I tried every single teat and nothing worked. This was a life saver as it was the only thing he started to slowly take. I think because it’s latex, it feels more like skin and the shape of the teat was more comforting to him.
My daughter struggled to go from breastfeeding to the bottle. We tried so many makes but this was the only one that she latches on to. More life like and was very soft
My little boy refuses to accept any other teat!
Born six weeks premature at 2lb 8oz his little mouth couldn't fit a cherry teat. The hospital introduced these to him and he learnt to feed from a bottle really quickly. He is now growing with these teats and currently on the 6m+ teats.
The only downside is that I couldn't put these in the electric steriliser and they had a funny smell to them after. We changed to cold water sterilising and this fixed the issue.
My little boy wouldn’t take to a silicon teat at all, i was at my wits end and really didn’t know what I was going to do. It’s so difficult to get latex teats and finding the NUK ones was a big turning point for my little one.
After exclusively breastfeeding my little girl I decided to start giving her a bottle a day to get her used to it. I thought this would be an easy task but how wrong was I. After trying most leading bottles including ones specific to breastfeeding I was close to giving up. This was when I discovered the Nuk latex teats. She took them straight away and we haven’t looked back since. Would definitely recommend to all mums but most importantly to combination feeding or fussy baby mums.
These teats have been our saving grace. My must have for new mums combi feeding. My baby goes from breast to bottle like a dream and no longer has colic because of heir anti colic systems. My only criticism is that the flow on medium teats is too fast and made him throw up the whole feed once we changed to small he was perfect
My baby didn’t accept any other teat, we tried and tested many and found this teat to be the best. The latex teat was easier for my baby to latch onto - highly recommend
Very soft teats, great for premature baby’s with little mouthes!
Weaknesses:
They don’t last long at all, have had to be replaced monthly.

I got these teats as when my baby was born prematurely, we spent 27 days in the Neonatal unit and he was feeding on the tiny little disposable baby bottles in hospital with the latex NUK teats, I tried him on the silicone ones that had come with my NUK bottles but he hated them and his mouth was so small he really hated it. So I got these, and they are great as they’re really soft, he doesn’t end up with milk pouring out, and you can choose the different hole size. We use small although they say for BM and water we use for formula and they’re fine, however - due to sterilising in milton (because you cannot steam/microwave these) they disintegrate very quickly and I’ve had to replace them monthly, they are super cheap though so it’s not been too much hassle.
This brand and tear is brilliant my daughter was born a month early and would not take to any other brand she was admitted into hospital as would not feed and we found this test and she just stated to feed straight away so I recommend these for tiny baby’s.
