I used to warm my son’s milk in the microwave at night but had some difficulties going inthe kitchen when I got pregnant. I then bought this Philips Avent bottle warmer to ease my nights. It’s really easy to use as it can be used anywhere in the house. The problem is that for heating 260 ml of milk from the fridge it used to take me 7 minutes compared to 1 inthe microwave. It is quite long when you have a crying baby at night... another inconvenience is that it’s quite noisy. Finally the water used to come out of the bottle warmer with a big bottle of milk and I tried to reduce the anount of water but then the milk took even more time to heat. For the price it’s a bit expensive when you can do the same with water in a pan. It should provide a car plug so it can be taken during travels aswell. Moreover I had to test the milk to check if it was hot enough. There should be a timer or temperature screen to be able to know when to take the bottle away.

Really like how practical this is for a new mum, quickly put milk into bottle then place in bottle warmer ensure there is ample water in the base then turn onto warming setting you need wait 4mins and milks ready to go not to hot not too cold! But there are cheaper alternatives eg. Placing boiling water in a jug and placing milk bottle in! But this is quicker and easier! - Strengths:
