We brought this gate for the top of the stairs as it's a no trip one, bit of a pain to put up but once up its good.
It can sometimes get stuck and 2 hands are needed to open is which is so annoying!
The screw also comes loose sometimes and has to be retightened, this isn't dangerous as it won't come off but it moves the width of the gate so can affect its use. - Strengths:

Description
The Cuggl Extending Metal Wall Fix Safety Gate can be used for spaces from 60-97cm wide. Just screw it to the wall: it has no bar at the bottom to trip over.
It unlocks with one hand but there is a double locking feature to prevent children from opening it.
Conforms to European Standard EN 1930:2011 - designed to provide protection for children under 24 months old.
