Perfect to keep my Lo away from the fire place

A very safe and sturdy guard. Fully covers fire and the surround. Easy to assemble and keeps both babies and animals safe when the fire is on, doesn't get hot to touch.

I love having a fire guard to keep my little ones away from the fireplace even though it’s an electric one we don’t use we have marble all around it, it’s fab as can change the size accordingly however we have had trouble to keep the fixtures into the wall (main Be due to my hubbys failed diy or wall I’m not sure) - Strengths:

Not too difficult to put together and great that it can be fitted to any width fireplace. Had to buy extensions for our one though as the fireplace is deeper. Made the whole thing a bit pricey unfortunately but it blends in nicely and we’ll get our moneys worth over the years I’m sure. - Strengths:

The fact that it covers whole of fireplace is both a pro and a con, it stops my toddler getting to fire but also delays us getting to cinders that spit out from the fire. It was easy to set up and whilst lightweight seems fairly durable. The disadvantage of the light weight nature is however my toddler can pull it over when he sets his mind to it. It is however enough of a barrier to them hurting themselves in the fire when you are fully supervising them but wouldn't be if you were to leave the room.Read more - Strengths:

Brill item has come in handy for playful twins and a cat who likes the fire. Very steady even with the babies pushing on it and banging things into it attatches to wall so don't have to worry about them pulling on top of themselves.

A large guard ideal for any fireplace to ensure the best safety. After moving into our first family home with our (then 18 month old) safety was priority. We have a raised marble fireplace surround. We were looking high/low for a product to prevent my daughter from getting too close/injured falling onto it.Read more
We came across this gate surround, luckily it's the exact fit we needed (you can overlap the centre if you need it slightly smaller.
It most definitely does the job of keeping my living room safe, however it was very fiddly to set up/ drilling the sides into the wall. The flaps along the top seem to fall down regularly, meaning they need to be fixed regularly. Of course theres the worry of my daughters fingers getting caught if they come loose when shes near.

This is easy to use and clip in, (you have to attach clip to wall so be willing to drill some holes!) wouldn't be suitable if the surround is deep set as o clay the length can be changed. Very secure and sturdy if not a little noisy. - Strengths:
