Ewan the dream sheep is overpriced for what it is. It was great for my newborn, but it soon stopped working for her. The batteries drain in a week or less and it only runs for 20 minutes, which was sometimes not long enough. Difficult to attach to a Moses basket also.

This was a great help at the beginning and my little boy loved the lullaby song and heartbeat for going to sleep but stated cutting out. Changed batteries and would work for a short while again but kept failing and now not working at all.

Ewan the sheep was recommended to us by a friend so we happily bought one for our baby. However we found that when the sound stopped our baby would be disturbed and would have liked if it would start automatically, like competitive a competitive product.
That said, it is very cute and is enjoyed by my little one as a teddy now.

There's so many similar products on the market and this is one of the more expensive ones. My son loves white noise and it works miracles but we didn't get on with this. The sound isn't particularly loud and only plays for 20 minutes at a time so my son would wake up not long after it stopped. I ended up downloading a white noise app on an iPad and I play that continuously through the night which works much better.

We purchased a Ewan when my son was just under 3 months and he did help with the soothing at bedtime but his battery life was horrendous you had to keep pressing him on every 20 minutes until tiny was asleep his cream woollen material seemed to a magnet for fluff etc and with a little one can be a bit unhygienic as it cannot be machine washed. For the price i don't think its worth it we ended up Bunning him before my son was 6 months old and using white noise on our phones instead which was 100 times better I would not recommend Ewan the sheep definitely not for £30.

    • Strengths:

      White noises and look appealing

    • Weaknesses:

Light not strong enough. 3 of the sound are very similar

I read somewhere this is a must need product so was quick to buy but honestly for the price not sure if it actually worth it.

Three of the sound just sound very similar. I honestly think it make no difference to my son. We turn it on because we have it but does it help me. I don’t think so.

The light also make no difference we can’t even tell there is a light.

Positive is it look nice and does make practical sense however downloading whitenoise app on your phone would do just the job and be a lot more cheaper.

I bought Ewan on the understanding that it was a wonder product, but unfortunately my baby does not respond to it in the slightest. It’s cute, but cannot be washed and the buttons are a little tricky to turn on as they’re so far up the sheep’s legs. Unfortunately for my little one, this is just an expensive soft toy.

      Doesn’t last long enough.

Doesn’t seem to last very long I think it about 15 minutes and not every baby goes to sleep after that, so when it stops can make more of a disturbance and it doesn’t actually have an on/off buttton and the sound part it inside sheep so the sound quality isn’t the best. It’s also only held with Velcro.
