My little boy loves Ewan. It has a soft glow and 4 different sounds. The sounds last for 20 minutes which is usually about the time it takes him to fall asleep. If he stirs in the night I just click Ewan’s foot and one of the sounds come on, it settles him straight back to sleep. My little boy is still in my bedroom so Ewan has worked for us so far but when he moves into his own room I think we may have to upgrade to the Ewan which comes on by itself when baby starts to make a noise.

I was really looking forward to using Ewan as the reviews were amazing. The quality is amazing and I love the design. The sounds are soothing and you can choose from heartbeat, white noise or lullaby and also a red light which isn’t too bright. I’m not sure why it didn’t settle my daughter but it just didn’t which is the main use of the sheep

Ewan the sheep is great in the early days of baby coming home and getting baby to settle in the crib

Ewan the sheep is a really useful product to help baby go to sleep in their crib.
Our baby would often wake in the night and we would switch Ewan on (the little red glow and the white noise) and baby would instantly go back to sleep.
There are several options of different white noise and you can have the light on or off.
I would highly recommend this product to new parents!

My little one absolutely loves his Ewan.
    It soothes him almost instantly.
Before I got the Ewan I would get the sounds on my phone and it was ok but then I couldn’t use my phone.
He sleeps with it in his crib and it automatically goes off after a certain amount of time.
It’s cute, light, cosy and can be taken anywhere. I can get on with what I’m doing instead of waiting for little man to fall asleep fully (not eyes half open and then once you move they’re up lol)

I know other mums who also swear by this item and I couldn’t agree more.

Yes it’s abit pricey but it’s definitely worth it.

We were recommended getting Ewan the Sheep by lots of family members and friends, so as soon as our baby was here and struggled to settle at night, we went out and bought him. The sheep is soft and cuddly meaning it is safe to leave with the baby without any worry. The womb-like sounds instantly relax and soothe my little boy. I think it would be better if there were a range of different sounds to give the parents and child a choice. The Velcro tail makes it easy to attach the sheep to anything - pushchair, car seat, or cot. The only downside would be that it uses a lot of batteries!

We love the sheep, the noises and music and how it glows red. Our son also loves it and it helps to soothe him when needed.
Was just surprised that the tummy Velcro seems very easy to get into for when baby starts getting curious. It may be ours is less sticky but for the price we were surprised the quality was lacking there. Would’ve been nicer to have change the volume and/or settings on the actual sheep.
We would still class this as a great buy though because of how much our son loves it and how it has helped with sleep and soothing. I would personally try get it in the sale though as feel the price is a bit steep.

It's a nice product to have but hasn't done much to help sleep. Some times it will help to send my little one back off to sleep when stirring but I need to be woken up to start it. I wouldn't say it gets her to sleep when she's awake though. I never use the red light as it keeps her awake. Main down side is the amount of batteries you go through as they drain very quickly

We got Ewan as a present when Fern arrived and boy does she love it. All my friends had used him with their little ones and rated him. He even sends us to sleep with his little glow and heartbeat sound. I definitely recommend from newborn

My baby suffers badly with colic and struggles to settle. As soon as Ewan’s switched on she calms. Not had a problem with batteries as others have.

I bought into the whole dream sheep theory, but in reality it didn’t work for us so has ended up being a cute expensive teddy. I dunno if it would have worked for us if I had got him used to it and played it repeatedly every sleeptime ie sleep trained him to it.

I loved the idea of Ewan the sheep so bought my baby the deluxe version which sensors when baby cries and comes on automatically. There are several different noise options which are good. However my baby just has not taken to it. And I have seen no difference in Ewan helping my child settle/sleep at night. Therefore I would not buy this again in future. It is expensive to be used as a teddy. Shame as it is cute and I do like the red glow it gives at night.

I am yet to be pleased by Ewan. I’m hoping this will change when my baby sleeps in his own room, however Ewan isn’t loud enough and my phone app is better. I will see how we get on once the baby goes to his own room.

Bought this before my baby was born. Was perfect when he was a newborn to settle him in his Moses basket. It’s now tied to his cot but could do with playing a bit longer as he usually isn’t quite settled before it needs pressing again or the batteries die! Velcro strap is handy for keeping it in place, and he isn’t yet able to pull it off so quite safe. Could do with being machine washable too!

Ewan is very loved by us, we used him since the first day we brought baby home. The sounds are so soothing and he is soft and cuddly for baby to play with. With the tail being able to attached anywhere, it's easy moving ewan around.

I know there is now a new dream sheep that can be washed so my only negative was that but that has now been resolved. I have been using this with my little girl since she was born, she loved white noise and would only go to sleep that way. I also liked the fact it had a night light, when turned on the sheeps stomach would light up - came in handy looking for the dummy in the dark. It does only play for 20minutes which used to be a pain at times but my little girl who is now 9.5months old still uses Ewan as a comforter to get to sleep so was worth the money.

We had Ewan from when my daughter was a few days old and she really loved the lullaby setting. To the point she still nods off to this! It’s sounds are soft and soothing and the red glow is not bright enough to wake her but enough to settle her. My cons are when she was little the 20 minute timer isn’t enough and could do with a remote or longer setting to keep him going on those particularly testing nights. Ours also got subjected to a projectile sick moment and the battery rusted internally with no support from the Ewan team.

I was bought Ewan for a baby shower gift, I personally wouldn't have paid £30 for it myself. But now I know how good it is I would definitely recommend it! My little girl has used it since birth. Would settle her to sleep so quickly, with the heart beat but now She loves the lullaby, it lasts about 20 minutes which is a good time as she's got older ( 6 months now) I need to play it twice and she's asleep. Battery life lasts me about 5-7 days.

Ewan the sheep looks child friendly and plays white noise sound to baby. However our baby is 4 month old and had to put new batteries in 3 times! Useful on a night and has a night light too. Plays 4 different noises and light can be turned off

Bought before baby was born, up until about 4 months our son just liked to watch the glow but it was most effective as a sleep aid after about 4 months old. We used regularly after this and seemed to be a real comfort to him, used on the white noise or music options. Battery life was not good but there is an option to switch off the light which helped. Son is now nearly four and quite attached to the sheep as a toy but unfortunately the music option no longer works. We did however get three good years of use out of ewan and will buy another for our daughter due in a few months.

We bought this for my now five month old (the purple legged one) and everything was going great for a few weeks until something went wrong with it, it would go off after just one second and stop playing and not lighting up. We got in touch with the manufacturer who were brilliant and gave use a voucher to exchange it at the shop we bought it from (Argos) for the deluxe sheep (the grey one) which has been fine since apart from the fact that it eats batteries quite quickly compared and the buttons are no long in the feet but in the belly which when upside down my little one has no trouble stamping on and turning the thing off - I wish the buttons were in its feet like the purple one. In the end I don’t fully understand the hype with this product, when you can just play white noise etc sounds on your phone instead - it’s just not cuddly and doesn’t have a red glowing light - but that’s just Me.

My 21 month old daughter calls Ewan 'baa' and would not be without him now. He really is her little comfort and helps her to drop back off if she wakes during the night. I didn't find that Baa worked so well when she was a younger baby but it definitely does the trick now. He even sends me to sleep sometimes! I've heard that the newer versions are now washable which is definitely a positive. I also kind of wish I could have a little remote to turn Baa on without going into the room but that's just me being lazy! Overall a great, comforting product.

Can't beat a snuggly dream sheep and it was worth the money. 5 years nearly and we still have Ewan, wiped clean and used again. Oh the dummy clip is handy too !
