This was brilliant when my baby was a newborn helped get him to sleep. It goes through batteries very quickly though. My boy is now nearly 6 months old and all he wants to do is play with it now so we don't have it on at bedtime

My baby loves him! This product has really made a huge difference with her sleeping she sleeps the whole night since we have used it! There are 4 settings to choose from you can turn the light on and off and you can change the volume setting too which is fantastic because there aren't so many options with other products on the market and it's a bonus that it's designed like a soft toy! Means if baby does feel like playing with him they won't hurt themselves! It also has a velcro tab on it so you can attach it to the side of baby's cot! The only downfall is the size, it is pretty big and if you have a bedside cot it does take up alot ot the baby's bed so once baby is a little bigger you have to remove it from the bed instead of putting him at the bottom of the crib but when baby is in his/her own cot bed then the size won't be a problem.

We bought a ewan the dream sheep for our third child. When we got it home and took it out to have a look we were impressed by how soft it was. We liked that you could attach it to the cot without straps or clips just a small velcro loop is enough. The different sounds is great and the soothing red glow is spot on. The downside we found was it eats batteries like no tomorrow. We were going through a pack of aaa's twice a week. We recently had to bin our ewan as the cables for 2 of the sounds had completely come out of the battery/sound compartment

Ewen the Dream Sheep is a very well-known sleep-aid product. I was sure it would assist us with getting Rex into a nap routine. However, for us it didn't work. Rex didn't take to any of the sounds. They would distract him from sleeping, he would wake up and several times he actually cried until it was switched off.

It was a real shame that it didn't work for us, but unfortunately was one of those things. Great quality product though.

The sound and light really comforted our newborn. The selection of sounds were good.
Only complaint is it seemed to go through lots of batteries. Sound would go rather creepy when battery was low

Use this for when baby needs sending to sleep or soothing back after a feed. The heartbeat sounds and music are great but they stop after 20 minutes and can wake baby up which is the opposite desired effect!

I bought this for my three week old as he was having trouble settling due to colic. The four sound settings are really useful and after finding the right one for our little boy he has started settling much quicker. If he stirs in the night it will settle him straight off again for a little bit if extra sleep. As the light and sounds last for 20 minutes before turning themselves off, he is nearly always in a deep sleep by then and doesn't stir when they stop.

This is a brilliant buy, I got it when i was 6 months pregnant slept with it to get my smell on it and so baby could listen to it in my tummy....
It is now a familiar sound and smell to her that it settles her instantly and sets her off to sleep at bedtime instantly.
    100% recommend.

We were bought this as a gift when baby was born, we used it on my bed frame from birth and used it as a night light and soother when baby woke for feeds . Baby is now 10 months and we still use it to help him self soothe to sleep. The music setting is a bit weird but the white noise sounds are great. I like how you can choose the volume and wether you want the light on or off. Really made the most of this.

Good size sleeping aid can attach easily to crib bouncer or pram. Plays 4 different noises. We use the lullaby quite often the other noises could be clearer. The battery life isn't great if let the ewan play through 20mins each time. The older my boy gets I'm sure he will love it even more. Works for us.

We bought this based on recommendations from friends who said it had worked miracles at bedtime for their babies but unfortunately it was just a distraction for our son rather than a sleep aid.
It is a lovely, soft well designed toy that we hung from the end of the snuzpod but apart from being attracted by the soft amber glow the sleepy tunes did nothing for our son.
It’s a great quality product, it just didn’t work for us.

All 4 paws make a different sound. As a baby we used the white noise to soothe our son. It worked! He would drift back off to sleep. However it would of been useful to have a cry recognition feature so it came back on without us getting up. Now at 20 months we still use him on the music setting as part of our bed time routine.
    Fantastic purchase for us!

I absolutely love Ewan! It can really help settle my daughter. We have been using him since she was about 4 weeks old and it’s proved great. It can help to get her off to sleep, we use the womb noises.
The only downside is that it literally eats batteries! Also I wish that I had known about the Ewan deluxe as I would have loved to have the cry sensor because sometimes im constantly putting it back on. But overall it’s great!

Firstly, we got this before our daughter was born and played the sounds close to my tummy. Not sure if this did anything, but our daughter took straight to Ewan, from birth and she loves him! If she stirs in the night, usually one tap of the left front foot will take her back to sleep. The sheep is lovely and cuddley with a good range of sounds. Though, like all others have said, this sheep eats batteries like they're going out of fashion! We bought a battery charger and re-chargeable batteries for the sole purpose of keeping Ewan going. So would recommend doing the same so you're never without him!

I have used this with my baby since birth. I'm not sure it is the miracle sleep worker it makes out to be but it certainly provides littler one with comfort in a new environment. If I could change anything about Ewan it would be that you could switch him off mid play if needed. Unfortunately once you switch him on, he is on for 20 minutes which can unnecessarily drain battery if not needed for that long. He is also operated by batteries which you have to change every 2 weeks or so. Apart from that he is a nice little comforter for my baby.

This sheep if the perfect friend for bed time, his 4 paws have different sounds all with a red light to mimic the womb. His melody doesn't get annoying as it it a long and soothing melody that isn't obvious with the repeating (gaps/cut off).
Every press lasts 30 mins (unless on demo mode 5 mins) or if you want to turn him off press and hold the button. He is soft and fluffy and my 10 week old lovedls touching his fluff. I hang him up so not in the cot.

I do find I chew through aaa batteries.

This is a lovely little sleep aid. I tried a white noise app before buying this to make sure my son was settled by the sounds. It has 4 sound choices and the belly gives off a warm red glow which is meant to be similar to being in the womb. This definitely helped my son drift off to sleep. I would have liked a cry sensor which I know is now available in the deluxe model. The velcro strap did come off on ours so we've had to tie it round the cot but other than that this is a great product.
