Baby loves ewan. He has been in his cot since he was born and it has helped him get into a good bedtime routine as he knows when ewan is on that it is bedtime. We can put him to be awake and Ewan will send him to sleep. Would not be without it.
We’ve used this product since the birth of my baby and still use it nightly now and my daughter is six months. The sheep is easy to use and each foot plays different sounds, including womb noises and a melodic lullaby. There is also a light but we haven't found the need for this much. I must admit we were initially sceptical but we now absolutely love this sheep and use it to help Imogen go to sleep and drop straight back off if she stirs in the night. Really effective and a great tool to aid sleep!
Ewan was a gift and a blessing! The whitenoise really settled my little one from the start and he still uses Ewan now. Each leg plays a different sound so you can easily find one that suits your child best. The only thing i would say negatively about Ewan is that it only plays in 20 minute cycles, so if your baby isn't quite asleep after the first cycle or wakes up when it stops unless they are in deep sleep, you have to keep starting it up again. However, great value for money and makes a lovely and extremely useful gift for new parents.
We love Ewan he has been such a help we brought him when my baby was about 6 weeks old due to him not sleeping at all on the nights (very tired mama) after starting to use Ewan my little boy was more settled and he started sleeping better!! Lifesaver!! Think every parent should own one :)
I bought this for my baby who has colic and reflux and sometimes is in discomfort especially at night. This has solves her sleeping problems and sleeps soundly now. When she stirs it automatically comes on and is quite sensitive to sounds. My only downside is that it could have been a cuter design
We could not live without our Ewan; calms baby during nappy changes and helps him settle at night. The only issue is we're going through batteries like no tomorrow but is expected with the amount we use it!
Ewan the dream sheep has been one of the best baby items we have had and we wouldn’t be without him! A friend gave us the original Ewan when our daughter was a few weeks old and she took to it straight away. It quickly settles her back to sleep if she wakes in the night, she seems to find the womb/heartbeat sound very comforting and will turn her head towards it when she hears it. The only downsides to this product are that it goes through batteries quickly (we now use rechargeables), you need to click the button on the leg for it to go off and it will automatically stop after 20 minutes. We eventually bought the deluxe version with sound sensor and it is better in some ways, for example the sensor is great if I’m not with her and it’s machine washable unlike the original. However, the noise is not quite the same and doesn’t seem to be quite as effective and sending her back to sleep (this could just be our daughter or the fact that she’s used to the noise of the original. Now she’s older she cuddles the deluxe but we still have the original on her cot bed for when she goes to bed and in case she wakes in the night and doesn’t self-settle. I can’t comment on the light as we’ve never used it on either version. I would definitely recommend this sleep aid to any new parents.

Ewan the dream sheep is absolutely fantastic. My baby is usually a very good sleeper but has recently fallen ill with a cold and has been losing lots of sleep, becoming quite disturbed and upset during the night so I thought I would try Ewan. All I can say is this is one of the best products I have ever bought for my baby. As soon as I introduced Ewan to my baby she was out like a light, no fussing, fast asleep. The design is excellent; fluffy material, cute, can be machine washed if needed. Safety features are the best; batteries located inside Ewan's belly for extra reassurance. The features are amazing; velcro strap to fasten to baby's cot, different range of noises, a nightlight. I have the deluxe version which has a cry sensor on so when baby fusses or cries Ewan automatically turns on for 4 hours and sends baby back to sleep, this is a very worthwhile feature as Ewan looks after your baby's sleep so you can get some rest too!! I would recommend this to every parent even if baby is a good sleeper!!
We love Ewan the dream sheep. We have the deluxe version which turns on if your baby disturbs or starts to cry which is very handy. She soon settles when he comes back on. The little night light in his tummy is brilliant to. Such a great buy.

This is a lovely idea and I know some parents swear by Ewan, but sadly white noise doesn’t help my baby to settle (although the only thing that does seem to work is bouncing on a ball or breastfeeding!).
However, I’ve still rated it highly as I think it’s a good product, and not the manufacturer’s fault it doesn’t work for my daughter!
The only down side is it switches off after quite a short time (around 20 minutes) and the batteries don’t seem to last long.
Soothing sounds, white noise, lovely and fluffy, great concept

When I had my first child I had seen Ewan at a baby event so bought this straight away for him. We used this instantly and it very quickly became part of the bedtime routine. This product is a fantastic concept, is made well and my son reacted well to it and it was very soothing, mummy also enjoyed it and sent her to sleep too! The product is easy to use and as my son got older and began to self soothe he would often click the leg which was a lullaby to help get him back to sleep. The only negative is after 18 months it suddenly packed up so had to buy another one! I’ve just had another child and didn’t hesitate in buying him his very own trusty Ewan. Great product!
We have two Ewan’s sheeps one for at home and one take take out and about with us, I love the little red glow on its tummy as for when we out in car at night it’s nice to see my baby girl with out putting light in car on, Ewan has helped my baby girl sleep and now she’s a little older she loves to hold and play with it, I’d definitely recommend this as a gift for new babies it’s the best sleep aid and we do have lots of different ones
I love Ewan the dream sheep, I have two for my twins, at first he didn’t really seem to do anything for them but after about a week of putting him on every night I started to notice that he would sooth the babies to help send the off to sleep. He comes with 4 different sounds which is great because when one noise isn’t soothing them you can switch to another sound and it seems to do the trick. I would recommend this product.
Purchased for my baby at about 2 months old after finding it hard to settle to sleep of an evening, even with a good routine in place. From the first use, baby settled to the womb music (his favourite is the hoover!) and we still use ewan regularly now as baby approaches his first Birthday. Ewan stays attached to the cot and provides a great light if needed during the night. My little one loves to cuddle Ewan.
We were recommended this product by some friends that had a baby. We purchased it a month before our baby was born. Before bed i would put ewan to my bump and play the music tune. Now our baby has arrived i feel this tune settles her before bed. He atratches the her crib nicely so he is not in with her for safety.
I use Ewan every night, several times a night to settle my daughter as I lay her down after a feed, she likes the song settle but loves the heartbeat with white noise. I think it really helps her sleep (cpuld be a coincidence but the night the batteries died was a rough one).
Our daughter loves this - and within minutes of activating it she's fast asleep, meaning we love it too! The light can be turned off, which is a useful feature albeit a bit fiddly. Also weirdly the buttons for sounds are at the top of the legs instead of the feet end - not sure if that's a fault on ours only or if they're all like this. Not a huge issue, but it did take a moment to figure this out, we initially thought it was broken.
In the tear filled milk delirium of the toddler’s fourth night on earth we made the desperate and hopeful decision to spend a seemingly extortionate amount of money on Ewan the Dream Sheep. Although I can’t claim that Ewan suddenly made her sleep through the night and allow us all to emerge refreshed after 12 hours uninterrupted sleep - for the first time the then baby lay down in her crib without screaming blue murder. She still snorted and farted and needed rocking but the absence of cries left both me and my husband with a long term adoration for Ewan. Clicking his little foot in the middle of the night became habitual really quickly and the joy we felt when - sometime between age one and two - our daughter managed to wake up in the night, find his lullaby foot herself and use the surprisingly soothing tune to return to sleep - was delirious. Even now, age three and a half, Ewan is a constant bedtime companion and part of a well established bedtime routine.
I can’t claim Ewan makes bad sleepers into good sleepers but in our case it has definitely helped ours be less bad than she could have been and her love of the sheep is pretty adorable actually, to the extent that after one notable stomach bug, we even replaced him (please make him washable!)
It’s so much all about the sheep in this house that the baby is getting one too and was almost the first item (after nappies and lansinoh!) on my new baby list.

I bought this yesterday and to try it out, i put my son in his cot to see if he would go to sleep. Normally i have to rock him to sleep and sit for about 20 minutes before putting him down. After putting him down yesterday evening, he was asleep within 15 minutes. Then when he woke at 3am, i turned it on and again after a while, he drifted back off to sleep. This was with the heartbeat sound. I was a bit suspicious at first but I’m now glad i bought it.
Soothes baby, easy to work, very cute, fastens to cot/pram, batteries last a while

Love Ewan! We play the lullaby and our son goes right to sleep. When he was a newborn he loved the womb sounds but we’ve progressed now to the lullaby. We’ve all grew to love Ewan!
The problems with this older version is you cannot wash him, and he doesn’t have a cry senser, but I believe the newer version does.
We were bought this as a gift as my sister had previously used with her baby and he really liked it as a newborn. However, our baby did not at the start and it actually upset her more. We tried all the sounds, the light on and off and it just didn’t settle her, so for a good 4 months Ewan was cast aside. It wasn’t until we started putting her in her own room that Ewan became part of her bath, bottle and bed routine in which we were very thankful for. We put the soothing lullaby on when feeding her a bottle and she goes straight off, if she wakes up in the night we click the little foot and it starts all over and she drifts back off again. The other sounds we haven’t used too much as she wasn’t keen on them but the lullaby is really great and could sometimes send me off to sleep. I only wish that the lovely little dream sleep would go on for a bit longer as sometimes it takes her a little longer to settle but other than that it’s a great buy. The price is good if you use all the sounds and the light but if you just use one sound like us, you could probably do with another sleep remedy.
This was the only 'sleeping aid' that actually worked for us.
The combination of water sounds (our preference) and the glowing red light seems to really help him fall asleep.
Also has a very secure velcro strap to attach to cot.
Shame it doesn't last for 20 minutes, which is the only downside.
We bought this second hand as we didn't know if it will work for an older baby (most people get these for newborns, and ours was already 5 months old) and it's quite expensive.
But it definitely worked for us. Even as second hand it looks like a good quality item. Features 4 different sounds on each leg and a warm red glow (although we found it drains batteries like mad so we don't use the glow anymore). One of the best things also is it stops after 20 minutes, and our baby is asleep way before that anyway so it is perfect.
Since we started with Ewan, my daughter just covers her face to sleep when we turn Ewan on. Like magic. Also when she wakes in the morning I always find her playing with Ewan and she even figured out (probably accidentally) how to turn it on.
The battery compartment is secured with quite strong velcro and there's also a strong velcro tab for fitting to the crib.

After a few sleepless nights I gave in and bought a Ewan and I can safely say it’s the best thing that I have bought. It’s a very cute design which my daughter loves, snugly and the red light is soothing for her. There are various setting to choose from including volume. There are 4 different sounds to choose from dependant on what baby likes. My daughter has found out how to turn the sound on herself which is fab as it means she turns it on during the night if she wakes up. The only downside to the Ewan is that you cannot wash the electrics are attached inside. I have recently found that they have redesigned this and the new Ewan has a detachable pack for washing.
The Sweet Dreamers Ewan the Dream Sheep was designed to mimic the sensation of the womb as he emits soothing sounds and a calming pink glow which will reassure your baby or toddler at bedtime.
There are 4 soundtracks from which to choose: vacuum cleaner, rain, harp and the womb. Each one features the sound of a resting heartbeat.
Ewan has a 20 minute timer feature with automatic shut off. He attaches to cot bars, pushchairs or car seats for easy transportation.
