In reality this isn’t something you NEED, the gro egg looks nice enough without it however it does make it really sweet. My 3 year old likes switching between Orla and the penguin! - Strengths:

Cute character, which makes the GroEgg less boring.
Goes really well in our woodland themed nursery.

I think the owl shell for our gro egg looks great, not needed but a great little addition. We see if the owl is happy or sad. In this heat he is very unhappy and cross! If you want to make your gro egg more interesting then I recommend this.

Got this to make the groegg look more appealing and interesting. Don't use it as a nightlight so not worried about the light emission but it's a nice soft light for of you need it as a comfort light. Easy to put on and take off. - Strengths:

Love this product, good looking addition to the nursery and bought for reassurance on temperature of the room. Cover can be easily popped ontop of egg and makes the owl glow the colour of the room from yellow to bright orange.. I don’t find you can use product as a night light, I don’t find it’s bright enough.
