As a sole breast feeder I had to use bottles for top ups, I originally bought tommee tippee as they were all I knew. One of my twins had trouble with them so bought a MAM bottle and they are so much better I will definitely be buying more. I like the shape and size of the teats, much more ideal for tiny babies. - Strengths:

My 1st boy was born prematurely and when the time came to give him bottles he really struggled. Mam bottles were the only bottles he would take to. When baby number 2 arrived, there was no doubt in my mind to use mam once again. I have since had another baby and after trying another brand, I went straight back to mam.Read more
Currently pregnant with baby number 4 and if breast feeding is unsuccessful I will again use Mam. The fact they are self sterilising in the microwave is fab! So handy if you are ever away anywhere.
The designs are simple but cute.
The only downside for me is that the largest bottle is very big and it seems to swamp my little ones face. Overall, a fab product!

I have struggled to get my daughter to take a bottle since she was born. I have tried other brands with no success. Friends suggested these and my daughter took her first bottle ever with absolutely no fuss at 6 months! Now I can get her dad involved in feeds and I can spend some quality one on one time with her big sister. One very happy mummy :-)

I use only these bottles for expressed breast milk for my little girl, since she was born. They’re by far the best ones we’ve tried and she can switch between that and breast so easily. The flow isn’t too fast so she doesn’t guzzle too quickly either which is brilliant! - Strengths:

The self sterilising feature is great, particularly as you can put a few in the microwave at a time without having to worry about taking up too much space and they can be pre-washed in the dishwasher beforehand for ease.
Only slight issue is that the base is quite thick and so the milk can take a little bit longer than other bottles to warm up out of the fridge. - Strengths:

I used this to top up my daughters feeds when she was a new born (couldn't exclusively breastfeed for multiple reasons).
She never forgot how to latch. But ultimately we ended up exclusively bottle feeding and are still using MAM bottles. I love the fact that they are self-sterilising and so easy to clean. - Strengths:

I started my newborn on tommee tippee bottles and she was constantly leaking milk from the side of her mouth, we the. Switched to mam after hearing really great reviews and have not been disappointed. My baby takes all of her milk now as the teats are a lot smaller but flatter. This bottle has helped my baby remain at the weight she should be.

The ounces start from 2. So if you want to see how much he is taking even if a little bit...it can be difficult.

This is the only bottle my breastfed baby would accept - he will gladly have expressed milk using the number 1 test. Only issue is after multiple washes it looks a bit grubby! - Strengths:

I love the difference kinda of designs you can choose From. They do do their job! And I love the facts you can self sterilise them, so much easier!!! The shape of the bottle is lovely also.
They do have a different sort of teat to your typical bottles but their very nice!
My baby started off good with these bottle but he started drinking to fast from them no matter what size teat we used, he also made a real big mess!
The con side to these bottles is that you can pour boiling water into then which is trick if you don’t have a prep machine.

These bottles were the only ones our son would take at 5 days old. He was losing weight and found breastfeeding tiring. This let him top up without having to put much effort into it.Read more
While cleaning them can be annoying at times, they ate so easy to sterilize. Though care must be taken screwing the bottoms on else the milk you spent ages pumping will just run over the floor!

I got these bottles free at a baby show along with a soother when I was pregnant as my aim was to exclusively breastfeed but I wanted some bottles at home just incase I couldn't and these seemed ideal because of the self-sterilising function I didn't need to think about purchasing a steriliser I might not need.Read more
The self-sterilising function is fantastic and only takes 3 minutes per bottle with 1 minute for each additional bottle however worth bearing in mind the bottle/s will be too hot to handle or use for about 10 more minutes after sterilising. I have found the bottle very useful for overnight stays when visiting family due to the self-sterilising aspect as it means I only need to take 1 or 2 bottles with me.
They are anti-colic but I noticed my little one gulps very fast and dribbles a lot of milk out of the side of his mouth possibly due to the shape of the teat. Also he still gets quite windy/gassy so i'm not sure if this is down to the flow of the teat being too fast however this is slowest flow teat MAM has. It's more of a pain to wash than a standard bottle but that's a fair inconvenience for the benefit of self-sterilising.

They have definitly helped with my babies colic, not 100% gone but an improvement. We have a few various designs which i like to mix amd match.
The teats have gone very cloudy now we've been using them for 2 months.

Me and my little one like MAM bottles, I have tried 3 different brands and picked this one as he likes it the best and it seems to work against the colic as well. My only issue is too many pieces to dissemble, clean etc. Also every now and again it leaks, so you have to double check that you did assemble it correctly.Read more

I just hate that you can see how much of the bottle is left and I hate how many parts there is too them and if they are not done up right they leak a lot, and I also got annoyed when I brought the bigger bottles and had to buy bigger teats separately as they can with size one teats!!
But the self sterilizing part of then is fab, as long as you have a microwave around you can have a bottle in 3 minutes which is a lifesaver! - Strengths:

This is a reasonable good bottle. My little one didn’t take to bottles as was breast fed but he took to these teats very well, I have found the bottle is good for on the go or travelling as it’s self sterilising so don’t have to have all the sterilising equipment with you- great for grandparents house. I really like the bottle and have enjoyed using them, my son feeds really well from them and they are easy to take apart and clean as well as the self serialisation feature.

The MAM ulti vent wide mouth transition bottle system is designed to emulate breast feeding as much as possible with a reusable bottle. All MAM bottles are constructed of BPA free materials.
