    My son loves this set, especially the animals which he often plays with without the rest of the set. Duplo is very good quality and this set has lovely bright colours and is lots of fun. We received it as a gift - not sure I would pay full price for it, although you do get a lot of Duplo. You get instructions to build a specific thing but it's not that easy to build for little ones - they definitely need lots of help. But my son likes to use his imagination to build various things with the blocks and then use the animals in various ways too.

    This is a lovely quality set with lots of bright colours and animal interest.
    Being part of the lego group you expect quality and I wasn't disappointed in anyway, the colours are bright and bold and all pieces are sturdy and durable. My son loves the animals and people and will often just play with those without the rest of the set and they are all a good size for little hands and to use with other toys. As with most things it's the fact it's a specific set that let's it down a little in my eyes as unless you have lots of other pieces you can only make the one thing. It's nice to have the animals, people and aeroplane which can be used alone or with other toys but I personally prefer an unspecified set which can be used to build whatever you want and uses a bit more imagination. It is a little on the pricey side but you do get quality for the money however I'd rather buy a bag of mega blocks or something until my son is old enough for proper lego and save the cash. If you have other duplo then it's a good set but I would necessarily buy it as a one off.

Description
