I was very skeptical about these bottles after trying the tommee tippee colic bottles. These actually helped so much! I can’t believe the improvement we have seen with my son! It helps reduce the wind intake too. Instead of screaming for an hour we have a happy baby! Would definitely recommend. - Strengths:

These bottles saved us! We tried many anticolic ones before and none worked as efficient. We are now only using these. The only downside is the might leak as they have a vents system that allows the air to get out of the bottle. But honestly it's a small price to pay for a peaceful baby! Oh and the actuall price of these is amazing too. - Strengths:

I purchased these bottles specifically for my windy baby; and to my delight they did wonders, my baby hardly has any winds. My baby was fussy with certain teats, but he took these immediately. These bottles can leak from the teat if not in an upright position. I find all the components annoying, especially washing them - but I would rather wash 100 of these bottles than have a windy baby! - Strengths:

These bottles have been great for my little boys wind and colic, however they do take longer to wash and can leak when shaking the formula (the instructions say to use a spoon but it’s easier to shake) - Strengths:

So we had a 4 week old baby who screamed from 6pm till he eventually managed to sleep.
He had colic we knew that we'd changed to comfort formula and it helped a little. I was desperate to find help I read many reviews and forum posts about the bottles and thought I'd try them. I did not regret it!! They are a little fiddly as they need the vents cleaning but you get a brush and it just becomes part of the routine. I read a lot about them leaking but I found if I didn't fully tighten the lid while the bottle was hot I had no problems. Definitely recommend! They changed our baby from uncomfortable and pained?! To happy and content. The pricing is around the same as any other bottle on Amazon but in store they tend to cost a bit more. - Strengths:

Bought these when weaning little girl from the the breast. Had read mixed reviews, and I wish I had listened to them. Upon making the bottle, they leak risking burning myself and my little girl. Would not recommend unfortunately. -

when my daughter was only a few days old she wouldn’t feed properly from other branded bottles and also started to develop colic symptoms early on. A friend recommended dr brown and I’m very glad I bought the starter set & other dr brown bottles since. Using these bottles stopped my daughters colic as soon as we started using them. I have found if you don’t put the vent and nipple on properly these bottles can leak a bit but once you work out where you are going wrong this can be easily stopped. When your child suffers with colic you will do everything you can to stop it and these bottles really work. They do require some extra time to clean as the vent needs to be cleaned however this literally takes a few seconds using the little brushes provided. Well worth the money and I will always recommend these bottles to friends suffering with colic babies. When you first get the bottles the lids can be quite hard to get off but after using them a bit this soon makes it easier to get the lids off. - Strengths:

I used these bottles with my eldest and have now had to switch to these (from another popular colic reducing bottle brand) for our newest addition. I noticed our 6 week old was suffering with trapped wind and seemed in pain all the time. She started with other colic symptoms, so I thought a change of bottle would be best, as I really rated Dr Browns with our first born.
I now remember why I loved them! I notice if we use a different bottle brand as she’ll be more wriggly, uncomfy and cries much more. They’ve really helped lessen the amount of air she’s taking in through her bottles, and she seems to be able to latch onto the teat much easier than other brands.
The separate parts are quite fiddly I won’t lie, but it’s such a small price to pay for a happier, more content baby!
I did find that I had to order lots of the white caps (which don’t come in the sets frustratingly) so that we could shake the formula up with hot water, as otherwise it shoots up the vent and spills out of the bottle even with the teat on. You can also do it without the vent in, and then just add the vent when formula is ready, but sometimes I found that it would still leak out with just the teat on.
The best thing is that you can use these with or without the vent. So when baby is older and can wind themselves, you can take the vent out and use as a standard bottle. That means saving money not having to buy another type of bottle.
I would really recommend these bottles to anyone with a baby who seems a bit unsettled. You’ll only sit and wonder “what if” if you can’t find anything else to Help your baby.
The only let down is the price. I really do think that they’re quite pricey for a baby bottle, even taking into account their specialist use.

Bought these after researching best bottles to use for my bubba who was having real trouble feeding, trapped wind, being sick puking his milk out and in pain. I really am amazed at how great these bottles are as with first use they helped ease all the problems. My only problem with this product is 1. The bottles leak when shaken and 2. They are a pain to clean. Removing the inside and washing it everytime can be time consuming. Apart from that wonderful bottle and does at it says. I now have one happy baby minus the colic and trapped wind! - Strengths:

So I love the fact that I have these bottles that cater for colic babies like mine. They are fab and have greatly reduced my babies troublesome worries. They are sturdy bottles but one little nag, the caps can get tight on the bottle. I often find myself struggling to get them open as they become so tight and as a result time is wasted and it does not help with a crying baby. Likewise cleaning them is a nightmare! The inside green parts need to be removed and cleaned alongside the bottles. Too much hassle. I only use these bottles as a last option though they are fab at what they claim to do! - Strengths:

Overall these bottles are fab! They helped reduce my son's colic and reflux. I think they where slightly pricy but I had to pay it as I bought all tommee tippee for him but my health visitor recommended I change as my baby was so poorly with colic and reflux. I found them very fidly to clean but abit of patience and it can be done. Would definitely recommend to anyone whos baby suffers with colic or reflux. - Strengths:

Thank you for allowing me to test this product. My LB is breastfed however I do express when having a full day of things to do and leave him with my mum for a few hours. I really wish I had these bottles when he was much younger as they are a godsend. A very innovative product that separates the air from the milk and also reduces flow a bit so my LB doesn't guzzle which causes him to get sick and burpy.
He does much better on these bottles than he does the breast as much as that saddens me to admit because I truly am a breastfeeding advocate. He had no problem taking to the teat. I would definitely recommend you purchase a starter kit and not the bottles alone as the brushes are definitely needed for the vent system pieces which cannot be washed thoroughly without the appropriately sized brush. Considering the massive impact these bottles have on peoples lives dealing with a colicy baby, they are so competitively priced.
Very good quality.
Thank you sooo much dr browns for entering our home and our lives. - Strengths:

I was given these bottles to product test.
My daughter suffers from colic and these bottles eased her symptoms, the design has improved since I had my son 5 years ago and the middle part can now be removed if not needed which is a bonus. The bottles do leak so time needs to be taken when assembling to ensure they don't leak. As this was a starter kit it would be helpful if they included a bottle brush. I would definitely recommend the bottles to any parent whose child has colic as they are brilliant in reducing the air that can be swallowed during feeding therefore reducing colic symptoms. - Strengths:

My breastfed baby often has bottles of expressed milk and can get very gripe afterwards so hoped these bottles would reduce that. Although separating the air from the milk is a clever idea, they didn't quite work for us as my son didn't respond well to the shape of the teats, which are very different to the Tommee Tippee teats we used previously. This maybe wouldn't be an issue for a formula fed baby who is more used to bottles.
The tube inside the bottle comes with a little cleaning brush but if you misplaced the brush it would be hard to clean. - Strengths:

Recently started using these bottles with my baby and pretty much instantly they relieved his colic! He seems to really enjoy drinking from these and it slows him down a little because he guzzles quite quickly. The design of these are really easy to hold and the teat sits really naturally in my babies mouth. The vent that comes with it is fantastic it moves all of the air bubbles up above the milk so babies not swallowing them and although I don’t think I will ever take it off I love that you have the option if your baby no longer needs it. You also get a small wire brush to easily clean the vent out. The only downside to these bottles I’ve found are that they can leak pretty badly but I discovered this wasn’t due to design fault but more my own doing, they leak if you do them up too tightly and if you use water that’s too hot as it builds up pressure but I started doing it up enough that I don’t have to close it right and since then no leaks! Fantastic! - Strengths:

So we really did our research on these bottles and most places seemed to recommend these. So even though they are the priciest on the market we decided to go with these given the recommendations....only the best for baby....or so we thought! The bottles are easy enough to put together although you have to make sure you connect them properly or they leak (unfortunately I found they leaked anyway). We bought these as colic and reflux in babies runs in our family so were advises these would be perfect but unfortunately they didn’t help at all and have had to change to another brand which has done the trick - Strengths:

I love dr brown bottles and have used them with all 3 of my children I liked the idea of the new option bottles and being able to use them without the middle at s later stage. Had a leaking issue where the bottles leaked after 2nonths whilst feeding so I contacted Dr Browns who sent replacements without question. Highly recommend - Strengths:
