My husband and I purchased this product as we were entering the 2 under 2 club (actually the 2 under 18 month club) we wanted something that would suit both children at each of their different stages of growing and loved the fact this buggy came with both newborn bassinet and toddler seat. We also wanted a buggy that had longevity, we knew once my daughter outgrew the use of the buggy we didn't want to be left pushing around a double buggy still. The bugaboo donkey is great for this as it can be made into a single buggy with side basket. I love it in both configurations. So easy to steer and relatively slim despite what u may think. I am still able to push through a single door way with ease and haven't yet come across any problems with regards to the width of the buggy! I much prefer a tandem double buggy and the bugaboo donkey did not disappoint, both children side by side without compromising on space which I found a few other buggy out there did, my children didn't look squashed in, even in the winter with cosy toes attached.
Over all I would highly recommend the Bugaboo Donkey for anyone with 2 small kids either the same age or different ages it's a fantastic, versatile, good looking buggy.

As my twins were born premature the large bassinets were perfect for both babies to share one, which kept them warm and together on walks and meant we did not set the pram up into twin mode for a number of weeks.
Changing from bassinet to seats was easy and took 5 minutes per seat. The ability to go from single stroller to double comes in handy when you only have one baby with you. It's easy to fold and fits into our boot with both seat attachments perfectly.

This is my main pram I use for twins the seats are very comfortable for them three perfect reclining positions good can completely cover twins when sleeping. Also has car seat attachment. Very sturdy definitely built to last.

However it’s very big and when closed with seats attached cannot fit in most cars so have to detach seats then close frame and layer to fit in car.

If it could close down as one and one hand close/open it would be 100% perfect

I love this bugaboo donkey. I brought it early this year for my newborn and 9 month old babies. firstly putting it together was abit hard there was insructions but its not light to hold so having somewhere to lean it on without damaging it is handy. it was mostly the seat and bassinet that was a bit more tricky.
secondly pushing the buggy is perfect its light you don't have to use force to push it the buggy is so easy going .
buggy hooks are good on this buggy for your shopping bags but only a few can be placed on it and not heavy ones.
it can fit through most normal size doors so the width is good .
it's a bit expencive buying all the accessories for it but I think this buggy is worth it.
it lasts till the child is 3/4 and my daughter is 5 and she can still fit in it and it not that heavy pushing her around on it.
over all great buggy perfect for strolls and browsing on the high street , convenient for picking up a little shop to store under in the basket
seats are nice size for children .

I adore this pram. I am a nanny so wanted a pram that I could use as a single everyday but also a double when needed. This one is great as I have so much storage space when using in mono mode.

The pram is so easy to push, it would be perfect on all terrains. It is also easy to take apart and fold, it fits easily in my fiesta boot with lots of room to spare.

The two seats recline separately and have their own individual hoods. You can also have them parent or world facing, or one of each which is handy. The storage basket underneath is also very big. This is just an amazing all round pram.

I’ve had a lot of pushchairs in my 5 years of being a parent (I lost count after 25).
This is the best double I’ve had, i love it both in single and double. I’ve also used the seated buggy board on it while in double mode.
In single i love the fact you can have the side basket, because let’s be honest, who doesn’t love retail therapy while the older ones are at nursery!!
I have many different hoods for my donkey so i can change whenever i want too.
The seats are on the small side but i have a buffalo seat fabric to use with my toddler which gives him a lot more room.
It’s the most versatile & spacious pushchair I’ve owned and you can really tell it’s a quality pushchair. I’d never go back to a different make.

I brought the donkey when I found out I was expecting twins, we have now been using this pram for 10 month and I absolutely love it! It's so easy to push even with one hand which is brilliant for those times I'm having to carry a baby! The boys always seemed so comfy in both the seat units and also the carrycots! I walk alot on lots of different terrains and it's never let me down yet! Yes the pram is wide but no wider than you would exspect for a double, in the last ten months I've only come across one or two doors I can't fit through! Absolutely love this pram and would recommend all day long! L

I love this pram, if one twin is crying I can carry him and push the pram with one hand, it is so manoeuvrable, it even manages the beach. The price might be a little higher than some alternatives but I think you get what you pay for, it is well made and feels sturdy.
The carrycots are bulky but you can take out the plastic struts to collapse them which was a lifesaver for me. With Bugaboo accessories the pram can fit through standard door width no problem but with the car seats you can’t, however that is not a Bugaboo issue.
My only gripe is that the basket underneath is shallow and can’t hold much.

I have owned a bugaboo donkey for the last 2 years, it saw me through my first child in mono mode. In mono it was a fantastic pram as there was so much space to store shopping etc. I have been using it in double mode for 2 weeks, though I am yet to get a second seat unit I have used with my original seat and a car seat, I am very impressed. Even with a heavier child on it is easy to steer. While it looks very wide I have only encountered one door in the basement of John Lewis I could not fit through! All in all, a fab single and a fab double!! Definitely a future proof purchase!

I have 18 week old twins and have used the Bugaboo Donkey Duo from birth. We use both the bassinets and the car seat adaptor for our Maxi Cosi Pebble Seats. One great thing about it is that it can be a double or single pram as it can be widened or narrowed. At first I had my twins in just one bassinet together (yes they were that tiny!) It is quite easy to put up and down and fold. The only issue I have with it is that it is quite bulky and it does not fit through the front door of my house. When I’ve been out and about it has fitted through most shop doorways. However the ease of use and the smoothness of the pram makes up for this. It is easy to push and steer and is a sleek and modern design. I look forward to moving to the toddler chairs which can race forwards or backwards too so it can be used in many configurations! I’d recommend to other twin mamas.

Perfect buggy for a baby and toddler, especially if you need a single buggy to as it converts saves having two buggy’s or one side empty.

Looks great I have had lots of compliments.

Good storage and the seats are good size, easy to clean.

This pram is ace, perfect for twins or children with close age gap, even works well. As a single. It converts quick and simple to a single and the side basket is perfect for carrying things around or shopping with a baby. The fold is on the bigger side but what do u expect from. A double side by side. It pushes with ease but can get heavy as the babies grow bigger as with any pram. Rain covers are not great and one of the worst I have used, you would. Expect more from. A big company like bugaboo. The goods are. Fantastic and great to keep wind and sun out of tiny faces. Overall great pram

Having two children of different ages this pram is perfect as I can use the part of the pram that meets my child’s stage. I live how when you only have one child with you this pram can also be a single. It’s a little tricky to fold and unfold however doesn’t put me off. One thing I can’t seem to get to grips with is using the rain cover this is very tricky. Love how you can change the colours of the fabrics however these can be expensive.

All in all I highly recommend this pram as it’s amazing for all stages and has good baskets on it too.

An amazing pram! So easy to steer and so light even though it is a double. I have the pink and blue for my twins and I am always stopped and complimented on the look of my pram. I did get mine second hand and it is still going strong, only thing is a couple of scratches on the frame from struggling to get it through certain doors. Only thing is trying to collapse it can be a bit tricky at first and it is very time consuming having to take the carrycots off and fold the frame to fit it into a car boot.

After finding out i was pregnant with my second and knowing i only had a 2 year gap between my 2 boys i needed a pram that would last from before baby til the end of pram days. I went to try and test a few and found that this one fit all the criteria I needed (extendable handle, both forward and rear facing seats, from single to double and back again and lastly from birth)
Reasons why i love it; it pushes brilliantly on most terrains (haven't tested them all) even with holding a dog lead in one hand. It is versitile for almost every situation I've been in.
My down sides i couldn't afford it brand new (got it second hand) so the older model is a bit stiffer collapsing but its still running after the previous owner.
    Overall its a fantastic pram!

We had another pram previously which was a tandem. I decided a side by side was nicer as both kids had a nice view as opposed to a tandem.
Bought ours at the baby show in Birmingham. Have been so so happy with this purchase. I love that it can be single or duo, and I love the basket on the side when in mono mode. So handy for shopping and I don’t have to lug my baby bag with us! Only downside for us is that it takes up the whole boot: chassis basket and two seats. We have an SUV so it’s a large car too. We go away often for weekends and weeks away and have no boot space left for our luggage so have invested in a roof box.

I have recently purchased the pram ready for my twins. I needed a very lightweight pram because of my fibromyalgia and this was recommended for that. I believe it’s more lightweight than other prams and is very well put together and quite straight forward to set up as well. However the only downfall is that to extent the frame you have to get just exact which be quite heavy and you have to take off the carrycot or seat off before you can fold it down even to get it in the car so it’s not quick if your in a rush.

We loved our donkey not only is it gorgeous to push but looks well made and very comfortable. Down side is the size its a big pram and pricey especially for twins when you need car seat adaptor and other addedd accessories. It does take up a bit of space. It didn't fit through our front door but it was worth it when the babies were in carry cots as they just looked very comfy and really liked it. Qhen they went in the bigger seat units they wasnt so kean. But then thwy were 8 months old and didn't want to be in the pram if they could help it. We had a black frame which shows scratches . It's such a lovely pram we got lots of comments it does fold very good too. We have just got a different twin pushchair and I was gutted to see the donkey go but for twins it was a brilliant purchase and worth the big price tag . It was nice to have the twins side by side i dont like the prams with one underneath who can't really see out. If the pram didn't take up so much room (carry cots and addedd bits which wasn't always needed) I would of kept it forever haha. It such a great lasting pram . The donkey two tyres are different to the donkey one and more hardwaring . If your expecting twins definitely have this on your list and go try it despite the price I'm sure you will fall in love with the pram. Another thing that got on my nerves was the rain cover was a nightmare to put on I just use to pull the extendable hoods right over in the end as the rain covers so tight to put on which use to take 10 minutes. over all such a dream to push and if you have alot of walking its a purchase you will be glad to have made.

Our bugaboo donkey has been absolutely fantastic for our twins and I’ve recommended it to other twin mums too. It’s more pricey than some other twin prams but so worth it as it’s build to last and so lovely to push! Our twins are now in the pram seats and they love them, it’s so practical and also stylish we get lots of people asking us about it. Other thing I love is that fact it can also be used as a single if you need to just take one twin out for whatever reason.

The bugaboo Donkey literally saved our lives in the beginning months of having our twins and even before they were born! We have a toddler and we had purchased the pushchairs before the arrival of our beautiful twins! We used the pram for our toddler as you can take off one of the seats and replace with a handy basket! Brilliant for storage when shopping of storing the nappy bag. The pram itself holds and retains its value for reselling as all the parts are compatible to sell together or seperately. We live in a rural area and the the wheels have been brilliant on every type of walk we have set out on! The stroller chairs/pram compartments can come off; they can either be placed facing the handle bar or forward facing - or one in either direction! You can accesserize with the pram and order different sections in different colours and add accessories such as a drinks holder or umbrella. We even placed a buggy board and seat on the back of ours for our toddler! The steering is so light and the pram even when full with shopping underneath feels weightless and easy to manuevour. Although the pram is quite wide I rarely had an issue with doors. Once or twice we had to take a stroller part off to be able to fit through a door! All parts come off and the chassis folds down small in the boot but the only thing is i would recommend the pram if you have quite a large boot as all the parts together do take up some room! These prams are indeed worth thier weight in gold!

This pushchair is the top of the range for me. It’s the Mercedes or BMW of all pushchairs. It’s pricey that’s s fact but it has so many options and it is so durable and strong it will last you and others if you sell it on. It has a great resell value too! It’s so easy to push. I’ve got three kids and people admire me on the school run! I love it that i can transform it into a single with a handy basket on the side or I can use it as a double in various seat combinations even with a maxi cosi which was important to me! If you plan to have more children this is the pushchair for you!! The buggy board for the donkey is amazing too. My 7 yr old daughter either sits on it or stands on it and it is so strong!
