Joolz Day 3 Earth 3in1 Travel System

PRAM - The best feature of the pram was that I could fold down the material around the head which revealed a breathable mesh panel which was perfect for hot sunny days.. The mattress was comfy and the pram base shallow which meant I could reach baby easily. A negative is the placement of the bumper bar which makes it difficult to see baby as it’s placed particularly high. The pram is narrow compared to others I looked at but it’s longer length was great to ensure that my baby didn’t outgrow the pram too quickly as it’s recommended use is 6 months. As you only get such short usage from the pram it was great that this converted into the pushchair so it didn’t feel like I’d purchased an extra expensive accessory for such a short space of time.
PUSHCHAIR - it’s table height which is great but the push handle will restrict it being placed close to the table and it becomes difficult and awkward to reach baby in a seated position of baby is facing you . The 5 point harness fiddly as there’s magnets to put together before clicking into the holder. I can imagine as my baby becomes more active that this will prove difficult. The storage bag attached to the frame is significantly smaller than some other pushchairs. It stops me over loading it but can be frustrating. The bumper and handlebar look great but dent easily so I wouldn’t recommend using a buggy clip. The frame also scuffs and scratches easily. I contacted Joolz regarding this and they suggested a car paint pen?! Flabbergasted that having spent in the region of £1500 this would be their response. It also took several attempts to contact them to get any response at all so bare that in mind if you have any issues. The large wheels are great for country walks and city life. Overall it’s heavy but it does steer well and with ease. Folding can be difficult due to the lack of clip to secure it in position.
ACCESSORIES - the cup holder does not fit! I’ve emailed Joolz having read several other reviews reporting the same however the response has been pretty poor. They simply sent a “how to” video. The accessories are expensive and I feel disappointed that they’re ignoring customers reporting the problem especially when it’s the one accessory that if it fails a baby could be seriously injured by scalding. I certainly won’t be taking the risk so it appears I’ve wasted £15. The rain cover is at an extra cost, it’s great quality but I feel it should be included as most other luxury pushchair companies offer. The car seat adapters fit well, they’re also an added extra. It soon mounts up once you’ve purchased the above plus footmuff for winter and various other hits and bobs.

CAR SEAT - looks great, comes in a range of colours to match the pushchair and feels very solid and secure. I feel confident with this car seat should the worst happen. It fits well to the pram base when out and about for short shopping trips.
