Philips AVENT Comfort Single Electric Breast Pump

I love my Phillip's breast pump, it really helped me in the early days of having a newborn and trying to establish a feeding routine. I was able to use this so my husband could also help feed our son well. It was easy to set up and take apart, easy to wash and sterilise. Would highly recommend this pump.

I have tried so many different types of breast pumps but this is the only one I have good experiences. It's quite but not enough quite during nights. That's the only weakness. It has good suction power and portable as can be used with batteries too. It was very useful during our summer holiday. A bit expensive but worth it.

I had this with my son and will use it for my second one due in October. My son stopped breastfeeding when he was 3 months old, and I was pumping 6-8 times a day for another 4 after, so I got very good use out of it. It has many options to choose from, very effective, not load and portable (you can put batteries in it, instead of plugging it in all the time - very handy). We are travelling a lot, so it was very useful that it is so small. It is very easy to take it apart and sterilise the parts. You can also buy the parts for it separately if they get worn in a reasonable price.

This was perfect for breastfeeding and helped keep dad involved so he could feed baby too. I had a hand held one for a while but this made it easier while I was looking after my little boy.

I will recommend if and only if you know that you gonna use it very often. Because the price is no joke. You need to put the pieces appart and/or together everytime iyou need to clean up. It can be annoying.

You have two bottles inside a small and a large one. And contenants to keep it in the fridge. You express with the bottle and/or the contenant as you have adaptator so very useful.

When I first tried the pump, I was over the moon. Expressed a few oz in 20mins but as I kept using it throughout the weeks, I noticed I never got more than an oz per breast. I feel like the pump isn’t as strong. My baby is only 7 weeks old so I don’t understand why the suction isn’t as strong . The shield has bumps around it which massages your breast and it’s really comfortable. It is a little big for my nipple and I wish there was different size flanges available. It’s teally noisy so I found it hard to relax.

This is a great pump that’s worth the money! Drained my breasts really well and I used it for quite a few week (I was expressing full time and feeding milk from the bottle due to tongue tie) . Easy to put together and use with great let down modes. Only down side is that it is quite noisey

The Pump is good only it’s quite noisy and if the smaller parts come loose and you not sure how to use it then it is a dis functional breast pump. I also think it’s quite expensive given other products oin the market.

I was amazed with this product, I never thought that I would have to pump, however after my daughter really struggled at latching on after a couple of months I thought I would have to stop. I decided to pump and use the lanolin cream to try and heal myself and after two days I could latch her back on with no pain. The pump was so easy to use at one point I was pumping one breast and feeding my daughter on the other. Even that seemed so simple to do! I would really recommend this product to anyone! The only downside is the noise that the machine makes.

<p>This pump has been amazing for me and I now use it as part of my daily routine! It is so easy to sterilise and I usually use my <a href="https://www.consobaby.co.uk/3-in-1-electric-steam-steriliser-philips-avent.html">AVENT electric steriliser</a> to do this after I use it. It is strong enough to pump milk quickly and easily and even when on the strongest setting it does not hurt, you also don’t need to arch your back in any way to get milk out and can sit in a comfortable position whilst pumping!</p>

This is a great product. Found it very easy to use. It’s easy to take apart to steriliser. I found it slightly noisy when pumping. But overall a great product.

I bought this pump as an avid Avent purchaser, I have many of their products and had high hopes for the pump. There are only 3 main pumping settings which doesn’t provide much variety, however it was straight forward to use partly due to the limited options.
I found it ok value for money but I bought it in a sale so it had 50%reduction.
I stopped using the pump after just a couple of weeks, I found that I was getting more milk from a suction pump than this and I could be using the pump upstairs and my husband could hear it downstairs. Far too loud to use at night when it’s important to pump to increase supply. I purchased a much quieter pump and sadly wouldn’t go back.

I’d definitely recommend this product to breastfeeding mums as an inexpensive, painless way to express milk (compared to manual expression st times) . It’s easy to use but a bit noisy and has quite a few small components that require careful washing after every use.

This has never failed me and within a few minutes I have expressed enough milk for a feed. This allows my husband to feed our daughter to help their bond. It’s really easy to clean, is comfortable and pain free. It remembers your setting for successful expressing. Different settings to adjust as required. Would highly recommend.

This is a very decent easy to use breast pump. The negatives I found is that the sucking motion is not strong enough, which means not all your milk is removed from the boob.

i found this breast pump very good, it has been my first and only pump, i could easily fill a 5oz bottle. It's function us straight forward, and with the battery option and being so compact, it's easy to take anywhere with you, as long as you don't mind the loudness of it.

Brilliant breast pump very comfortable when using, this was my second breast pump I had a nuby but hurt and wasn’t great bought Avent electric and it was amazing and different setting options is a great tool!?

This breast bump can be very painful. Unlike some others you can’t control anything other than the speed.
I found it quiet hard to clean.
This product left me very sore at times and I had to live to a different brand.

Fantastic breast-pump! Makes the process really easy, both at home or out & about with the mains or battery option.
Comfortable pump to use, and quick! Can be a little noisy (so awkward in public toilets!!!) but would recommend to anyone!

I was dreading expressing being uncomfortable but it really wasn't with this pump. The shape means it massages the breast well and the multiple settings were great for taking it at your own pace. The pieces come apart easily to clean and sterilise and it has a closed system meaning no milk can back up into the unit so it stays hygenic.

I did have a manual pump, but thought I would try an electric. I can easily get 5Oz in a session from one side. You can pump straight into the Avent containers so don't need to go from the bottle into something else. It is very easy to take apart and sterilise, and very easy to use. Only downside is that it is a bit noisy, and would be great if they done bags you could express straight into (if they do I haven't found them yet) for freezing. Would definitely recommend this pump.

Brilliant little pump. Regularly manage to get five Oz per side in no time. Comes apart well for cleaning. Small and portable. I literally don't have a bad thing to say about it.

As this was my first breast pump i wasn't sure of how to use it and although there was an instruction manual included it was not very clear and only consisted of pictures. Also included in the box was a 4oz bottle with teat, a breast cushion, a base unit and 3 pin adapter. As part of the philips avent breast pump trial i was also given a code to try out well vine. Well vine is a video call service helping parents with breast feeding, children sleep and nutrition. The well vine video calling booking process was straightforward. I booked a time that suited me, received a confirmation email with a link which i then used at my chosen time to allow me speak with my consultant. The well vine consultant was very helpful and friendly she explained how to use the pump and answered any questions i had. I found the philips avent electric breast pump to be really comfortable, easy to use and more efficient than hand expressing. I was surprised at how much milk it was able to draw down in a short period of time. The base unit is small, light and portable with a battery compartment, allowing me to use it even when i was not near a power source. Milk doesn't flow into the tubing making cleaning easier and simpler. While using the philips avent pump experienced no leaks and was able to change the rhythm into one of three other pumping speeds whenever i desired.
