Our daughter went through a stage of being constipated and was so unsettled with it after a week on this powder she seemed to settle and got into a routine of a dirty nappy. Only downside is it can be expensive as it’s £13 per box, other brands seem to be cheaper. - Strengths:

This is a lifesaver when it came to my baby having colic and constipation. He would cry in pain and a friend suggested Aptamil comfort and after giving it a try I noticed my bubba was back to his normal chirpy self. His poo was normal colour and constant. He had less hiccups and was passing lots of wind. It is quite thick formula and I found sometimes it was hard to mix without powdery residue being left behind. It is also pricey at £13 but as it does the job I am not complaining. - Strengths:

After my little boy was constantly struggling to go to have dirty nappies my health visitor suggested this milk. I immediately rushed off to the supermarket to get some to be greeted with a higher cost, but who doesn't mind paying if it's going to help.
My son lasted 2 days and had to be taken off it as he was being very sick and had gone the complete opposite way and had diarrhea. The formula was also very thick which made it hard to get thorough the teat without going up a size. Although the idea of this milk is good, doesn't work for all. - Strengths:

Love this milk. Never had any problems with it and it really helped my baby in the early weeks when he was struggling. Easy to make and blends well. Quite pricey but then all milk seems to be. - Strengths:

Great milk. After many sleepless nights my daughter finally sleeps peacefully. I used many medications to help my daughter, but nothing helped. My health visitor recommended this milk to me. Thanks to this milk, the tummy pains have stopped. This is definitely the best choice for my baby.

Purchased this formula when my LO had constipation. We were previously using Aptamil first milk then her stools weren't coming out as often as we were used to seeing. Her stools started to soften within 48 hours which is GREAT but we didn't know when to stop offering her this milk. Best to stop after a week because if you continue, baby's stool will become very watery -- NEVER MESSY. Trust me, it started making a huge mess & baby's started having tummy pain.
What I didn't like about this milk -
>Price - formula is already pricey and this costs more than the average formula.
>It lacks instructions on how long you should provide this formula to the baby - for first-time parents, we were clueless on how long to use it and we learned the hard way. Our baby had a lot of watery poos and we didn't really know why until we just randomly decided to switch back to the first milk.
>It gets too thick very quickly - if you're using number 1 (or slow flow) teat, this milk will get stuck or block the hole. We had to constantly shake the bottle, squeeze the teat... Plus if you make this formula 10 minutes ahead, it's a big mistake! You get a thick layer of formula powder sunken to the bottom of the bottle.
> A large package for a short-time use - it was a waste to throw away when we were done fixing her constipation. The worse part you can't keep for more than a month, you have to dispose of the formula by 4 weeks. - Strengths:

Our daughter suffered colic, constipation and gas from day one. We moved her to this comfort milk around a month old and, after a few weeks of crazy green 'clean out' nappies, she was totally settled and comforted. We have kept her on this milk and she is now a thriving 7 month old. The milk is really thick so quite hard to mix in the bottles and we found we had to move our daughter to the faster flow teats as she couldn't sook the thick milk through the slow 'from birth' teats. - Strengths:

I recently bought this for my 2nd baby as she was crying/screaming all the time basically, she was straining loads, had lots of trapped wind and had constipation aswel so thought I’d give this milk a go.
After 4/5 days we noticed a small difference in her.
It’s a good milk for little ones that are suffering from colic and constipation problems.
It’s a slightly thicker milk than the normal first milk - Strengths:

It’s very thick I found you had to mix extra well as I found sometimes it was stuck in the bottom of the bottle! I used this for a few weeks not constantly but I gave my little boy 2 bottles a day of it one in the morning and one of the evening it settled his stomachs right away and found it a lot easier to go the toilet. - Strengths:

After finding out my little one had colic and reflux we tried everything he was on cow and gate comfort at first but that made his constipated so I spoke too a few mums and they told me too try aptamil comfort and I was relieved when I did. He is now off this as it has helped him loads he never got constipated on it and he still had a few sicky spells due too his reflux but it did relieve the colic and help it loads. I would totally recommend this product after trying cow and gate I believe aptamil is definitely the better version and helped my little man loads. - Strengths:

Excellent for baby's with colic or constipation, it is slightly more expensive than the normal aptimal but it works really helped my eldest daughter, the only problem I found was that if the water was too hot or too cold it wouldn't mix properly, it would look split but all it needed was a proper shake, would highly recommend this formula for baby's with colic or constipation. - Strengths:

My baby has a lot of hiccups from breast milk and normal formula. But when we started to use it, it was almost right now. He likes the taste. -

My son started having this formula at 6 weeks old when he started suffering with colic and constipation and nothing else would work to help him settle. The health visitor recommended trying it. Within a few days he was so much happier, the signs of colic seemed to of stopped and he wasn't struggling to go to the toilet. His poops were pretty explosive and smelly but aptamil said this completely normal with this type of milk. He was doing so well though and gaining plenty of weight so I wasn't concerned.
He is 6 months old now and we have started to wean him on to food so we have also decided to gradually put him back on to normal milk as they come in pre made bottles and the comfort milk doesn't. One of the other things I liked about the comfort milk was that it doesn't go frothy so baby isn't sucking air at the end of his bottle - Strengths:

I started by using the normal aptamil for my little one but noticed she was really suffering with colic. She would cry all the time and be in pain. Since changing to this milk she is like a different baby. She is no longer in pain and is a lot happier - Write a review
