After having an electric steriliser and scrubbing the metal plate daily to get rid of limescale I decided to try something different. I was so pleasantly surprised just how simple yet effective this is. I am so happy with this and would definitely recommend to anyone having a baby. - Strengths:

I've had this product for over two years and used it for my 2 youngest and found it really handy and affordable if you've got a budget. It's quite spacious and can allow me to sterilize up to 6 bottles and teats at a time. It's a good alternative to microwave sterilising by using cold water and sterilizing tablets and only take 15 minute to sterilize. - Strengths:

I found this product on amazon, it was cheaper than buying it on the high street. I think this product I good value for money, easy to use and sterilisers quite a few things. These are used or something similar on the maternity wards. So good enough for me, would strongly recommend this product. - Strengths:

This is a great product and so much easier to use than other sterilising methods as items can be placed inside the bucket and left there. Items are sterilised within 15 minutes, and the water just needs changing every 24 hours. I use it to sterilise breast pump parts, bottles and feeding tubes for my supplementary nursing system.
The only downside is it does leave a chlorine residue and smell, so I do like to rinse things off with cooled boiled water.
I’m also unsure what the bottle markers are for on the bottom of the bucket as everything just floats in it rather than staying in place - but perhaps I’m missing something! - Strengths:

I love this steriliser. After using others the cold water steriliser by Milton gets my vote. Easy to use, easy to clean, holds 6-7 big bottles, can be moved anywhere as it doesn’t need to be plugged in, lightweight.
Comes in a few colours but not a great colour range.
This is such a good steriliser we even took it abroad in our hand luggage bag (obviously without water it in).

I used one of these while staying in hospital and actually wish I’d got one of these for home instead of an electric one! They are so simple and quick to use plus once set up they last 24hours and bottles are ready to use after 15mins unlike an electric one where you have to change the water every time then once bottles are done (15mins normally) wait for them to cool (another 10mins) and they don't seem as clean in the electric! Definitely buying this for my next little one and chucking out the electric one! - Strengths:

i have had this steriliser for both my two year old and now my newborn . can fit up to 6 standard bottles of mixed brands as well as dummy tears, teathers. easy to use and easy to keep clean. and as you use the sterilising tablets with you know the bottles have been sterile other than the microwave ones . with this you can be at ease to know your bottles are clean and sterile. - Strengths:

This product is great especially if you are on the go and cannot use an electric steriliser. It is more limiting with how many items you can sterilise in one go but this could be solved by having more than one container filled with the sterilising liquid. Loved my milton sterilizer was excited to find they still did them took me ages to find one the only fault i found was that it is meant to hold x6 bottles but my x6 dr browns bottles didn't fit due to shape of the steralizer so could only do x4 at a time but no biggy in my eyes. - Strengths:

With my first child I used microwave steriliser but this time round I needed to sterilise lots of bottles at the same time as I'm expressing all my baby's feeds. This steriliser is perfect for that and so easy to use. Just fill up to the line with cold water, add a Milton tablet and away you go. So much easier than microwave or electric! -

Amazing steriliser. I worked on a postnatal ward and these were what we gave to our patients to use. I now use this with my son and its so easy to use. The water only needs to be changed once every, 24 hours and the products are ready to use within 15 mins. Fab piece of kit. - Strengths:

The old ways are sometimes the best. Change the solution once a day, submerge clean items, always sterile and ready to go. What’s not to like! Just be careful not to get the stuff on your clothes as it does bleach some materials. - Strengths:

I used this product with my son and found it superior to the microwave one I had. The bottles wouldnt come out steaming hot so you couldn't use them straight away. Very easy to use but the steriliser itself could be prettier. - Strengths:

I bought this steriliser for a wedding we were attending when my baby was 3 Months old, we were required to stay over and as I usually use a microwave steriliser I had to find something else, the steriliser is easy to transport and very convenient if your on the go at events or holidays, I assume it would be great for home use too but I haven’t used it for that. - Strengths:

Great, portable and easy to use, it also had the added bonus of cleaning all our bottles back to pristine white when I turned them all orange in the dishwasher!
Fits loads in and only has to be refreshed once every 24 hours.

I love my cold water sterilise it's so easy to use and if you're going on holiday you just put all your bottles in the tub a few packets of the tablets and away you go no messing around and the fact you can use cold water makes it easier to sterilise... I like that if you don't need the bottle or dummy (whatever you like) straight away you can just keep it in the water until it is ready to be used ... these are used by the hospitals which to me speaks louder than words on hygiene. - Strengths:

this works well because you pop the tablets in and its done for the day just pop your bottles in as you need to. Easy to take on caravan holidays. You have to buy the milton tablets regularly and its a big thing to keep on your kitchen side and to wash. - Strengths:

Very easy to use and take out and about, all you need is cold water and a Milton tablet to add! No fuss, I did have a microwave steriliser but it was useless! Much prefer this cheap, quick and easy option. -

Great product. Been using this since my son was born. Hospital recommended and it works a treat. Can fit all sorts of different sized bottles in. Convenient and easy to use. Just be careful you don't fill it too full and risk spilling sterilizing water/fluid all over your kitchen. - Strengths:

I've used the Milton steriliser since my first child. I found this worked better than the electric and microwave and love that the water lasts 24 hours so you can take out and add items as you need. You don't have to wait for the full cycle to end and have to 're sterilise repeatedly. It's cheap and so simple to use. Also well made and will last for years.
