This product started off good but slowly the suction decreased. Although it did the job, as an exclusive expressing mum I found it unsuitable for continuous regular use. I would say it is good for a mum who just wants to pump occasionally but not as a pump to use as a regular breastfeeding accessory . It is very loud and a few people commented on this. - Strengths:

I am very happy with this product, it is amazing, easy to use and clean, I didn’t feel overwhelmed putting it together. The 3 levels of suction is amazing as some days they were too tender to use level 3 so could chose level 1. Overall I’m very happy with this product and I would 100% use it again. - Strengths:

I didn’t use my pump too much as I was solely breast feeding .. my sons didn’t take to a bottle.
After using a manual I bought this purely for trying to get my son to take bottles for when/if I went out. Easier and less time consuming than a manual.
It’s a good pump, easy to use, easy to clean and does what it should. The downside is... it’s noisy. And you still have to use one hand to hold it on. It would be great if it was hands free and made a less hideous noise. Luckily I didn’t have to use it as much as some mums did so I didn’t come across too many issues.

I’ve really loved using the tommee tippee electric breast pump, it’s quick and easy to use and clean/reassemble. I love that it can be stored and sterilised in its little box very handy for travelling. It’s compact and the design is pleasing to the eye. Weaknesses of this pump are that it’s suction could be stronger but again I am comparing to hospital grade pump I used whilst on the postnatal ward and it’s a little noisy too, these are the only things that could be improved but it’s still an excellent product and these do not hinder its effectiveness or use. - Strengths:

I love this pump. Used it for my first child when I returned to work and now with my second child. Love the fact it has 3 settings to suit personal needs. It is a little noisy but it's helpful being able to use it with batteries or mains. I did have an issue with the breast 'cup' but i contacted tommee tippee and they were brilliant and sent out a replacement. - Strengths:

Bought this product thinking it would be a good idea however all I managed to do was get milk all over my hand or me it didn't seem to suction on very well so milk would get wasted and we no how golden breast milk is so wasn't happy. - Strengths:

Having previously used a manual pump this electric pump is amazing. Very easy to use. Expresses milk quickly and I found even the lowest suction level is strong enough. - Strengths:

This is a good product but could do with some improvements.
The 'Tommee Tippee closer to nature electric breast pump' is a good product. The pump is very simple to assemble and use, easy to clean and is small & compact which means it is easy to store. However, it does have a few flaws. I found that the suction wasn't strong enough. It would start off ok but then 5 minutes into pumping after having put it on the max setting, it starts to lose the strength of the suction.
Instead of taking around 15 minutes on one breast it took around 30minutes + just to pump one boob, when you have a newborn baby you just don't have the time to sit down for 1 hr pumping.
The other problems I had with the pump was I found it quite awkward to hold especially because the wire wasn't quite long enough. I didn't find it very comfortable on my nipple which was one of the reasons i bought the closer to nature pump. If 'Tommee Tippee' improved on these flaws I think it could be a very good product.
I would consider using this product again if they made some improvements.

This is a good product for expressing but I often use this pump coupled with a silicon hands free manual pump as it allows me to express more. I can express around 3-4oz with the pump alone but combed wiyh the manual silicon pump I usually get around 6oz. The parts fit together easily and sterilizing is very easy. The part that goes onto the breast seems to be a little loose fitting at the end which attaches to the breast pump which leads to a poorer suction but on the whole it's a good breast pump. - Strengths:

I have had this breast pump for over 2years I used it with my first daughter to express when I went back to work so easy to use didn’t take me long to express either. I was practically attached to this 24/7 at one point when trying to increase my milk supply, unfortunately it didn’t really help increase it but that’s another story.
The pump was easy to use, fitted really well and was actually quite comfortable (well as comfortable as something sucking on your boob can be!). I felt it worked well while I was still producing plenty of milk, I could fill a pouch quite quickly. It was only as I started drying up that it took forecer but that’s down to me not the product!
I also got this while it was on offer at half price so as far as I’m concerned it was good value for money.

Really annoying to clean- has to be done after every use and breaks down into about 7 parts so you have to dismantle it and put it back together each time.

The pump is a great buy although is quite costly. The pump is gentle on the breast and has three levels of suction dependant on your need. The down side I have is the suction cup around the breast de-shapes when sterilised. I had to put it in the fridge to tighten it up after each use. - Strengths:

This is a good pump with good suction and easy to use but if like me you decide to exclusively pump then it could be better as it is only a single pump and can take a while to do both breasts. I have bought a double pump for at home but with this one being portable I can take it out with me for a quick pump while I am out of the house. The pump is a little noisy and I did find myself turning the tv up so I could hear it, but it never woke the baby. The pump itself is easy to use, comfortable and is easy to take apart to clean and sterilize. - Strengths:

I have used this for the past 9 months. It is very noisy so best used whilst you baby is awake, if they are a light sleeper. Everything is easy to clean and easy to re assemble once cleaned. I find that 2 of the pump settings are very similar, wish one was a little bit stronger. Sometimes it takes over an hour to get a few ounces ( but that might just be me), so make sure you have the time to sit down relax and pump for a bit. The set is handy and comes with everything you will need so that is a plus, I use the sterilizing box to store all of the pieces in as well. I bought this second hand off another mum so can't comment on the price really, but you do get a lot for your money. - Strengths:

This electronic breast pump is a great buy! In the box you get everything you need to be able to sterilise, express, store and feed.
The pump itself is very easy to set up and get going but I would definitely recommend reading the instructions throughly first. I don’t think it would be possible to set up correctly without doing this.
It is very easy to get started expressing. It starts straight away when you press the on button. It has 3 suction levels. I found all 3 levels comfortable and helped express a good amount of milk.
I love the fact that you can use it on either mains power or battery meaning you can take it out and about with you if needed. The only downside is that it can be very noisy so not very discreet for those out and about expressing sessions!
I am so impressed with this breast pump set. It comes with everything you could possibly need. It is quick, easy and comfortable to use at home or on the go using it with battery’s. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a breast pump set! - Strengths:

I bought this pump because it was tommee tippee and I had already been given tommee tippee bottles. As tommee tippee bottles and accessories are so easily available in most supermarkets/chemists/online it makes it really easy to get extra parts. I also like the fact that you pump straight into a bottle that you are then going to use which reduces how much sterilising you need to do.
The bit that goes on you is very soft and comfortable. There are three settings although it doesn't have a "flutter" setting to get the milk going which some of the more expensive ones do but I never felt that I was missing out not having that.
i did find that the nipple attachment was a little tricky to clean but I just soaked it in Miltons to put my mind at ease that it was really really clean.
I can really recommend this pump. It's great value for money and did me 18months of pumping and is ready for the next baby! - Strengths:
