These teats are an excellent product. The slow flow suits newborns very well, are easy to clean, sterlise very well and aren't expensive to replace. The quality is brilliant, have never damaged with me and are made of strong stuff. Couldn't recommend enough. - Strengths:

Description
Philips Avent Classic+ Teat uses a unique teat skirt with a one-way air valve that flexes to allow air into the bottle to prevent a vacuum, as milk flows through at a pace that baby chooses.
This allows for active, healthy feeding and reduces the occurrences of colic. You may hear the Airflex valve working: the bubbles move away from the teat - that's the guarantee the air is going into the bottle, not into your baby's stomach.
The breast-shaped teat promotes a good latch and makes it easier to alternate between breast and bottle feeding.
The Airflex valve works with baby's natural suckling action: baby controls the milk flow. Philips AVENT offers a complete range of interchangeable products. All products within the feeding range are designed to work with each other.
