At the beginning my son was breastfeeding and he would always want to be on the boob and refused any other dummy until I gave him this one and he loved it and would only take this dummy - Strengths:

It is comfortable for babies to use it. Very good material bpa free. So it is safe for infants. But the bad thing it doesn't have lid for to cover it - Strengths:

This is the only soother my baby would take. She loves her “Sookie” and the handle on the Avent Classics made it easy for her to pick up and put in her mouth without help from a young age. I also love the wide range of designs from very eye catching to very subtle and clear.

My baby loved the Avent dummies however I thought they were a little expensive. I went out and bought cheaper dummies from various makes however my little one would not take any other one only liked the Avent ones! So I then found glow in the dark ones too which I thought was brilliant however I still struggle to find them at night the glow in the dark bit gets less visible as the night goes on. However otherwise I wouldn't fault these dummies I love them and baby loves them. Easy to sterilise and the cover to protect from dirt is great! - Strengths:

I had a bad experience with these the fit is perfect but my daughter only had hers one day she was making funny noises checked on her and the test had come off in her mouth never use this dummy brand again. - Strengths:

I first brought these dummies for my twins and they really liked them but they are quite expensive when you have to buy two packs.

My baby does love his Avent dummies, the case that protects the dummy from dirt and germs is the best. Our dummies glow in the dark to easily see at night and they are very stylish.

Avent is our favourite brand of dummy; we have used them with 2 children. The covers are great, so you can keep a spare dummy sterile when out and about. The teat shape of the dummy is quite flat rather than round - this shape is claimed to be better for the development of children's teeth. These dummies also come in a glow in the dark colour in a bigger size which is great for older babies who can find their dummy in the night when it falls out, rather than wake you up! We love these dummies but do shop around on price as supermarkets often stock them cheaper. - Strengths:

Bought for newborn based on price and shape. Cheaper than other big brands. My son has taken well to them. I specifically like the shape as it does not cover the chin and so avoids becoming sore. Like that they have clip on cover for the teat so can keep clean once sterilized until use. - Strengths:

Both my kids preferred AVENT soothers over other brands, they do a great job in calming them down, but unfortunately the teat isn't built to last - I have to change them regularly due to my kids biting them. - Strengths:
