It’s much lighter than a lot of it’s competitors (handy with a growing baby!)
The newborn wedge and head hugger offer excellent support for a newborn and once removed it’s a very spacious seat! My daughter was average height and weight for her age and we were able to use this seat until she was 2 years old, which given its already cheaper than a lot of its competitors, makes it excellent value for money.
The sun canopy offers good coverage although you need to make sure it’s attached to the hooks well as it does have a tendency to come off from time to time.
The covers are fully removable and washable which is just a must!
We used the seat with the family fix base which make getting the seat in and out of the car simple and fast. The base also has 2 recline options which was brilliant as my daughter got older, we could sit her up so she could see out of the window.
Overall, I can’t wait to be using this seat again!

I got this on offer on amazon for £79 and I have no complaints at all.
My baby loves being in his seat, always falls asleep in it.

Love this first car seat for my baby. Easy to use alongside a base, but also easy to transfer between cars as it can also be used without the base.

Used this product with both of my children, both absolutely loved being in their car seat. I sometimes use this still with my 2 year old as she is quite small, she always falls asleep even if she is only in it for 10 minutes or so. I used a cabriofix when I had my son 5 years ago and bought another this time around. I trust this seat, its comfy, safe & convenient with the built in sun/rain cover being a great bonus. It can be used with isofix but my car doesn't have this so the next best thing is a fixed base which it clicks in and out of easily meaning you can transport a sleeping baby into the house or shopping trolley (or pushchair if you have one with the fitting) without waking them. Can also use with just a standard seatbelt if no isofix or fixed base. The only downside is that it doesn't last until baby is older. Meant to last up to 12 months, my daughter is very long and so I don't see it lasting until then unfortunately.Read more - Strengths:

We brought the Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix as we heard it fits on pretty much any pushchair on the market, we were not disappointed! Using the adapters on our Quinny (which we needed for the carrycot anyway so we didn’t even need to make an extra purchase) you literally click it on and go! No waking baby up when getting them out of the car. It’s functionality is fantastic it has belt hooks either side so that you don’t have to try to hold them out the way putting the baby in one handed. It comes with the newborn wedge and head hugger, you simply remove them when your baby is at the right size and stage of development. It has the chest and crotch pad. It’s so easy to use with the 3-point, one-pull adjustment harness allows for you to be holding the car seat whilst tightening or un-tightening straps as only needs the use of one hand! It has a curved based, so you can rock a fussy baby back off to sleep. It has the added side impact protection for greater peace of mind and when buying a car seat safety is our number one priority. Maxi-Cosi 2WayFix Base, FamilyFix Base and EasyFix Base, we have to FamilyFix meaning we can move on to the pearl for our next stage and not need a new base. But using a seatbelt for installation couldn’t be simpler, a quick look at a 2 minute YouTube video and we were good to go. I honestly cannot think of a weakness in this car seat other than I wish you could use it onward of 13kg as I love the carrier.Read more - Strengths:

Purchased this seat for my newborn son, its the comfiest seat we have had. Bought this with my first baby and loved it. It is lightweight and easy to use. Also can be added on to most travel systems with the correct adapters which makes life easier when baby falls asleep in the car. It’s really easy to clean too as all the cover comes off. You can also buy an isofix that makes it easy when out and about in the car which is really simple to install or can be used with a seatbelt if no isofix. This nifty carrier is great for newborns and is compatible with most strollers with the correct adapters. It’s not the lightest once the baby is in and I feel there isn’t much room past 3months but it does it’s job. -

As the title says I'm a a mum.fo 5 and had a and I cosi for 4 of my 5 babies. Q e had a different style for our eldest and it was very heavy . Yes these aren't that light not with a a baby in but they are comfy the babies look so snug in them and you know they are safe. They are easy to adjust and the head bugger is great for the first 6 months. My twins go.in theirs happily and still fit in them at 11 months (they were premature though). They clip in great to the isofix which makes life easier. They do also fit nicely.on the bugaboo donkey (although make the pram wider then it already is). They are secure and good quality. They come in ncie designs and the black hoods are great and easy to.put up or to store in the back of the seat. They are easy to adjust the straps and the covers come.of easy to wash. The downside is they are heavy to carry baby in and awkward but that's car seats in general not juat this brand . I wouldn't go back to any other brand now they just seem to support babies well and easy to click of the pram (with the little one press release button). They also look stylish but above all keep baby secure which is the most important thing.Read more

I bought two of these for my twins and they never cry when out in them, they are seven months now and still have plenty of room in them but the car seats are compact enough that I can fit them both alongside a toddler car seat in the back seat of my car.Read more
They fit perfectly on my pram and they fit a universal car seat rain cover.
The only downfall I have with them is that once we took out the new born insert there was no head hugger for them and I had to buy one separately but over all I would never use a different brand of car seat. - Strengths:

The car seat is great. My baby boy looks so comfy in it, and I love the newborn insert to keep his head more secure while he is in there. I think the seat is pretty light, however once my baby boy is in, it is quite heavy to carry now he is getting bigger. The hood could be a little better, I didn’t even realise it came with a hood, I propably should of read the instructions before I went ordering a ‘replacement’ one so I could ensure my boy would be protected from the wind/sun etc! I have bought this car seat for both my boys and it's great size not to bulky and even better it clicks straight on the pram frame dave waking baby up. My only thing I would change would be a more substantial hood to help shade them from sun or wind - Strengths:

Newborn as it lies quite flat when installed. This is good to protect the baby’s windpipe. My midwife when commented on this design feature. Newborn insert is padded and comfortable, often my baby’s favourite place to be.
It fits easily in and out is the car and is easy to fix onto pram base when using the adaptors. Lightweight and less bulky than others on the market. They only downfall would be the loudness if clicking the handles into the carrying pistons which can stir a sleeping baby - Strengths:

It seemed to be very comfortable for LO. I loved that I could clip it onto my I Candy with some adaptors. This made to and fro-ing from the car really easy, especially if she fell asleep in the seat.
The rain cover is a really good quality cover and fits like a glove. I love that it fits into the back of the seat.
I simply strapped the seat in with the seat belts as I did not buy it with the base. It was a secure fit in the car with very little movement.

The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
This car seat has been designed with your little one's comfort in mind: it is supplied with a headhugger, newborn seat reducer, chest and buckle pad and an integrated sun canopy. It also features an extra comfortable ergonomic carrying handle to make it easier for you to transport.
