We are now using our cabriofix for our second child. It’s a great car seat that works well both with Maxi Cosi isofix bases and seatbelts, plus has been compatible with nearly every travel system we have encountered. The sunshade hidden in the back is so handy, as is the storage compartment at the rear of the seat. The only downside I would say is that although it comes in slightly lighter than other car seats is that it’s awkward to carry once your little ones are over 5-6kg, as you’re effectively carrying 10kg in the crook of one arm. Overall the carbriofix car seat is quite simple to use. Fits in the car really easy with the isofix base. Also can git onto dome pushchair frames. Am happy with the overall product. - Strengths:

Mixed review on this item, it's very very heavy for what it Is, my son doesn't always seem comfortable in in.. but it is easy to strap in and our of the car and very easy to clip into my pram it's a decent size as well - Strengths:

My daughter has used this car seat for over 4 months, the newborn wedge and insert were good although the straps never feel 100% secure to me, she either seems to squashed or without inserts, seems like its too big. I dont find the fit to be too great for her but i may just have an odd shaped baby! The seat is rather heavy but is easy to carry and use. The straps are quick and easy to alter and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. - Strengths:

I have bought this car seat for both my boys and it's great size not to bulky and even better it clicks straight on the pram frame dave waking baby up. My only thing I would change would be a more substantial hood to help shade them from sun or wind - Strengths:

The fastening of the baby is great, easy to do. The newborn insert comes out easily as the baby grows. The seat is light in weight, it was the lightest of all the car seats we looked at.Read more
The seat states up to 12 months but our 8 month old boy is already too big as his feet come out the end and the head cosy part isn't high enough (our baby is not really that big). - Strengths:

It's a very good car seat for this price. It's comfortable and easy to use. My baby like to sleep when is in the car and is comfortable for him. When I put him in the car seat he start to smile. -

Easy to carry not too heavy. Looks nice and ours has lasted for 2 of our children so well worth the money. The only problem we had with this car seat was finding the fabric hood it was tucked in so tight we almost called the customer care line to complain we didn't have a hood we only realised after looking at a video on youtube - Strengths:

This is a great car seat up until your baby starys moving. My sin at aged 8mths started to be able to wriggle out the car seat despite using it correctly. I got my use of it check by mothercare 3 times as i got so worried. Seems that you all skinny babies can get out the seat. Other than that the seat has done us well and worn well with daily use. Easy to fit onto an isofix but also took on holiday and used with seat belts.

Straps are pretty much impossible to take off the seat to clean. Everything else detaches easily.

The good is handy but I find it awkward to put it up and down as buttons are around each side of the handles. Defiantly a 2 handed job. Can sometimes be a bit fiddly to unclip from the pushchair. Does the job well. - Strengths:

Comfy enough and I like that you can take the foam wedge out and stil have head support in , because of where buttons are it’s hard to remove from pushchair wheels .

Very easy to use with isofix once know how to get it out.
Sun shade very awkward to get out and now it isn’t secured properly in the hood. Button on the back of the seat to releases the hood slightly but didn’t realise this at first. My baby slumps down in seat a little despite using newborn back support so doesn’t always look very comfortable. - Strengths:

I bought this car seat as it is compatible with the Quinny buggy my sister gave us. Overall it is easy to use and fairly lightweight and was also a reasonable price. However my little one has bad reflux and the position she has to sit in makes her very uncomfortable. Little one screams most of the time she is in it, removing the newborn insert helped but she is still not happy. It seems like a very popular choice of car seat, usually at least 3 or 4 when we go to baby groups.Read more

This is an attractive looking car seat which fits on quite a lot of different prams which is a bonus! It is quite heavy with a newborn in so I’m a little worried of how I’m going to carry her in it as she grows! My main concern with this car seat is the connection to the isofix - connecting it is no issue taking it off is a completely different story! You have to pull a lever while lifting the car seat at the same time. The lever is very stiff and I have to use two hands to pull it and try and use the second one quickly to pull it off when the lever pulls out a little bit. That is the only improvement I can think of that does really need addressing but other than that I would highly recommend this car seat.Read more - Strengths:

Bought this as I thought it was a reasonable price for something I’d probably only use for about 7 months however baby was early and very small but already growing out of it at 5 months. Seemed ok at first as baby was comfortable in it, padding in it is nice and soft however I found it to be Very heavy whilst baby was in it so I hardly took it out of the car. I found this product okay as I bought it from a close friend and it came a travel system with other pieces, I found of quite quickly after how heavy it was without a baby in, I also found that once my son outgrown the newborn insert there want much padding around the sides of it and it was very awkward to carry due to the heaviness with the baby as well and not very good sunshade not big enough - Strengths:

The isofix base was really easy to install with the green light system to ensure it was fitted correctly. As first time parents this little function was really reassuring. The seat itself isn’t very comfy, I had to purchase a car seat cushion insert for my daughter as she refused to relax in it when she was younger.Read more
As my daughter gets bigger it is getting harder putting my daughter in and out of the seat. I’ve sometimes bumped her head. If I were to purchase another seat, I would definitely look for a swivel seat.

The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
