We brought this car seat as part of a bundle with the Orb pram from Mothercare. The car seat is really easy to use in the car, especially with the isofix. We felt that we could trust the car seat as it was Mothercare and a reliable brand. We brought adapters so I can use the car seat on the pram which is a life saver. When my daughter learnt to sit up, she wants to all the time so the car seat works well on the pram. Its great when out shopping as it limits her irritation of getting in and out of the seat. I really like this car seat and I'm sad that she will grow out if it soon so we'll have to upgrade. The only weakness is that it doesn't come with a rain cover, you have to pay it separately. The pictures include the Lamaze Activity Pram Spiral which was a Christmas present and doesn't come with the seat.Read more

It’s good care seat to take your baby out off hospital in easy to take in and out off car when you have a fixed base would off liked to take all cover off to wash but don’t tell u how and the the straps keep turning but easy enough to turn back from the back other than that I would use again. - Strengths:

This car seat is to easy to use in the car with or without the isofix base. The only down fall is the price for the car seat and the extra cost for the isofix however you can use without isofix which is amazing if you need to use in family members car. This car seat is heavy but i do love it and so does my little man.

Generally a good convenient car seat looks lovely my baby is generally happy in it for short periods and it’s the lightest car seat on the market that I personally tried which is perfect for me. Only downside was when my daughter came of age to remove the newborn bottom support wedge the head hugger was sewn to it meaning she had no head support when it was still really needed. I loved this car seat for my little boy he seemed so comfortable in it where as another one i tried previous he didn't look comfy the only.down fall is the weight of it carrying around after a while can hurt arm and strain on back however I love the car seat. - Strengths:

This very comfortable car seat is ideal for outings, especially when using the pram. It's easy to clip onto the frame. The padding adds more comfort for baby. I also like the cover, as it's easy to store when not in use. Definitely a good buy! - Strengths:

This car seat is good value for money, it’s useful to purchase the isofix base as it makes clipping it into the car much quicker and easier. I have been able to buy adapters for both my pushchairs so that the car seat can click directly onto them, however I have found that once the inserts have been removed for tiny babies it does feel quite firm and not as cushioned as some other car seats on the market. I got given my pebble which looks great and very easy to fit although I have had 2 main problems baby gets very hot if I drive for 30 mins and when it was a warm sunny day and he was only wearing a vest his head was sweaty! Also adapting to my Egg pram it is almost impossible to get it out with the 2 grey buttons I have to balance baby and chair and get one out then get another one out!! When doing a quick shop can take me up to 5 minutes just to sort baby out. Materials feel nice quality and adjustable straps are easy to use .Read more - Strengths:

It was straight away easy to use. For example adjusting the straps to ensure baby is securely tucked in and we mainly use it as part of the pram, we also bought the universal iso-fix which was also easy to use when putting baby in and out of the car, the only thing I found hard at first was the lever at the back, to release the car seat from iso-fix which was placed in the car, it’s a bit tough as baby gets heavier trying to pull the car seat up while pulling the lever back at the same time. Also the first month baby looked uncomfortable as her neck looked a bit squashed but as she got older and was able to support her neck a bit more she has got lots of space and turns her head freely in the seat and always has a nap comfortably. I am still using the new born insert 6 months on and baby has lots of space, It also is so comfy when placed in my egg pram base which comes with two adapters where you can place the car seat in and as baby gets older and is more aware of their surroundings they can look around in this seat which is what my baby likes to do :). I recommend this product however I wish it came with more inserts to fit baby as she gets older. I don’t think the price is too high for the quality of product. - Strengths:

Very light weight and easy to manoevrer between isofix base and pram base. Unisex colouring with just a hint of blue, very simple and easy to use for baby. Straps a little stiff but will easy off after use. - Strengths:

Perfect from newborn. Straps have pads on for extra comfort and comes with head support and a newborn insert. This is a rear facing car seat. Used with LO since she was newborn, now nearly 11 weeks. She falls asleep during trips in this, unlike the previous joie carseat she was uncomfortable and crying for most of the journey. We use this without iso fix, although the option is there. - Strengths:

Good car seat, used from birth and still using now at six months, little one is very snug in it now, don’t think I’ll be able to use it after he turns about 10 months, as it has been heavy to carry for a while now, but overall a good car seat to begin with, nice design, and easily able to attach to pushchair, I used the I candy apple to pear. - Strengths:

My son always seemed happy in this car seat, lasted until he was 12 months old. My only dislike about this product was the shade. I have a 4 month old baby girl and have been using this car seat since birth. It’s very spacious and I’m confident it will last until she needs the stage 2 seat. I use this on a daily basis and whilst it can be heavy to carry it is very simple to use.Read more
I would say the hood could be a bit better as it’s quite flimsy and doesn’t stop wind/rain at all, also the buttons on the side to put the hood down seem to get stuck sometimes which makes it a bit difficult.

I took my baby home from the hospital in this car seat (with newborn insert), in a lovely red colour, he’s now nearly 1 and still using it (although he is getting a bit long for it so will soon have to change). It’s been perfect for us. Easy to use and easy to take in and out of the car and attach to the travel system. The only annoying this is that you need two hands to move the carry handle which is sometimes not practice. The sun canopy also comes in handy for my very pale baby, although it was difficult to find at first. My baby finds the seat very cozy and often falls asleep in it, however, on warmer days his head can get very sweaty when it is resting against the warning sticker in the inside.Read more

This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
