We had this for our child and they fitted into in until just after their first birthday. We had the isofix version so taking it in and out of the car was super easy. Worked well in our little car too. The sun shade that pops out is great. We had a few sick incidents which cleaned up easily and with no smells after. - Strengths:

A very easy to use car seat, that lasted my child a long time. We also bought the isofix base which made it even easier. Compatible with our buggy too, it made everything very simple for us when it came to travelling with a new born.

We really like this car seat we brought it to.go with out quinny travel systerm. It so easy to get it in to the car and on to the pushchair. We so have the easy for base with ours so just clips in and out. But when using chair in another car it it so easy to fit the seat belt highly reccommend - Strengths:

Very good and has lots of different types of pranks it can fit onto also the isofix is brilliant and helps with my day to day life! I love this product. It took me a while to pick a car seat and was recommended to get a maxi-cosi. A lot easier with the isofix and fits into the icandy easily. Great comfort and also a lot of accessories to add for extra comfort. Also light weight - Strengths:

lovely seat that is so easy to instal with the isofix base, but can be used with the seat belt too which is extra handy for nannys car! Looks very cosy with the newborn insert and again once this is removed. - Strengths:

I've now owned this product for over a year and used it for over 8 months. My son was born a preemie at 5lbs 2, so it was vital we felt safe carrying him around when he was so tiny. At first we weren't sure if it was safe enough, his legs barely went past the crotch pad but the hospital assured us he was safely secured and that was enough for me. As he got bigger around 4/5 months we removed the insert for the foam seat cushion and found it was a very hard base for him to sit on. He had no worries with it however, and took to it nicely - I guess wearing a nappy helps with the comfort side!Read more
We have found it difficult to clean properly as it is incredibly fiddly to take apart and put back together. The pads however are very easy to take off and replace - a little too easy if you ask me... everytime I take him out now (he's 8 months) his shoulder pads come off the seat with him. So much so that in October we lost one of the original ones when he was being taken out of the car by a friend.
We've since had to replace them with a cheap eBay version and although they look lovely they too fall off. My personal suggestion would be to add some velco spots to the straps like some prams have in order to prevent them falling off when removing the child. There's nothing more annoying than putting a fussy child in his seat and having to replace his straps each time.
All in all I'm happy with the carseat and would likely buy it again.

At 8 weeks old, we have already modified the seat by removing the newborn seat cushion, and wikk take out the head support when she can hold her own head up strongly. I like the fact that it is so easy to make these changes.
I also like how lightweight thisxseat is in comparison to others on the market, as baby gets bigger, every ounce of weight saved on the seat will be a blessing!! - Strengths:

I bought this car seat after our previous was part of a product recall. You certainly get what you pay for. The seat is larger than most new born car seats and so lasts a lot longer. Description
The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
