Loved this car seat. So easy to lift in and out of the car to the pram as its light. Also not complicated to remove from isofix base or pram. I used it with the Quinny zapp base and was great so easy to fit. Also we were able to remove all the covers to wash them. - Strengths:

I had purchased the Maxi Cosi CabrioFix Car Seat after finding other car seats quite heavy let alone having a little one in it as well. I find it much lighter and easier to use. I find this car seat a lot easier to remove from the easy way base for the car and adapters for prams. Its slightly wider which wasn't a problem for me but also meant baby had a bit more room which seemed nice and in turn I think would possibly make it more comfortable as the child gets bigger. The seat belt/harness is easy to use, the straps are easy to loosen and tighten as you wish. The bar is easy to put back forward. All round great car seat and would definitely recommend and use again in the future. Only thing i have marked down is comfort as the car seat is quite hard but with the newborn insert it is very comfy and baby seems happy in it.Read more

I didn’t use this with my first child and it was my biggest regret, it has made my life so much easier with my second as I do not need to wake him every time we get in or out of the car and as my first is currently in school we are always on the go! The only downside I have found is the children get extremely hot in these and with the heat wave it has been unbearable as it is black. I think the manufacturer should consider creating a summer insert that is light coloured and breathable.Read more - Strengths:

Easy to use car seat from birth with the isofix base. Simple yet effective and good price compared to other brands. Will easily last my little girl until she is 6-9 months old before I have to think of buying another seat. I can then keep the isofix base and go to the next seat up. - Strengths:

I like this product all 3 of my children have had this car seat easy to wash and wipe over children look save and snug as a big lots of accessories I.e. raincover all different hoods cosytoes and more only downfall if u have a chunky baby and use the car seat a lot you will find the handle on the seat will start to bend in the middle. - Strengths:

Car seat itself very comfy for the baby, at least ours loved it. However it is a bit heavyweight, so i was struggling to carry it with the baby once he gained more weight. I loved the sunroof- very handy to protect baby from direct sunlight! And i do believe baby would definitely fit up to 13kg as it says :) - Strengths:

It’s a lightweight unit that’s very easy to use.l from reclining the handle to loosening and tightening the straps.
It can be fitted in the car using a seat belt or via the maxi cosi base which is personally how we use it and again very easy to take in and out of the car. The canopy and rain cover fit on perfectly just would’ve preferred that they had been included in the purchase price instead of extra add ons.
Very happy with the seat and would definitely recommend it.

The amount of designs these car seats come in means that everybody is going to find one that best suits them. The car seat it super lightweight and easy to carry. The sun canopy is great for in the summer months when you want to keep the sun from your little ones eyes.
I would recommend this product to any new or expectant mums out there.

This car seat is good value for money, it’s useful to purchase the isofix base as it makes clipping it into the car much quicker and easier. I have been able to buy adapters for both my pushchairs so that the car seat can click directly onto them, however I have found that once the inserts have been removed for tiny babies it does feel quite firm and not as cushioned as some other car seats on the market. I did a lot of research when it came to car seats and this was one of the highest rated for safety. It’s very easy to use and appears to be comfortable. Our first son fit it from birth (8lb14oz) until 10 months (he was very tall). The covers are easy to remover and replace for hygiene. It’s easy to use with or without the isofix base so great for swapping between cars. It’s fits a huge range of travel systems too. This car seat is brilliant we have used it for both of our children. They have both found it very comfortable. You can buy the adapters to connect to the pram which is great and so much easier when you are popping into the shop and baby is asleep. You can also connect to an isofix base which makes it extra safe and very easy to put in and out of the car.

The only thing I did find is when using with my newborn baby, he looked very scrunched up in the seat and it didn’t look too comfortable but as he got bigger it is definitely the best seat for him. This car seat has lasted our family 5 years. I love the fact it can be used on the pram with adapters, meaning baby doesn't have to be disturbed when falling asleep in the car, and can really easily be clipped onto the pram wheels. I also find it really practical that it can be used with the Isofix base or just belted in the car. Its a nice design and is really cosy with the head hugger, and great with the wedge to support their back when baby is newborn, which can then be removed as baby grows. Straps are easily adjustable in length, and can be made higher as baby gets taller. There are a couple of negatives however. The car seat alone is really heavy, so once baby gets to 4 months+ it becomes very heavy to carry around, meaning baby needs to be taken out of the car seat and carried, not great if they've fallen asleep. It's also really difficult to remove the covers, so when baby has an unavoidable nappy leak or sick, the covers just need to be wiped down, as removing the covers is really difficult, and they take a while to air dry and can't be tumble dried. None the less the car seat in general is great, comfy sturdy and looks nice.Read more

The lightweight Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix infant carrier is suitable from birth to 13 kg and is compatible with Maxi-Cosi and Quinny pushchairs to form the perfect travel system.
This car seat features enhanced Side Protection System and a soft chushioned seat with newborn seat reducer.
Practical belt hooks will assist in keeping the harness out of your way when placing your child in the seat. A one-pull harness adjustment ensures that it is set at the right tension. As your baby grows, the harness and headhugger can be altered so that it is always positioned correctly.
The CabrioFix installation is very easy with Maxi-Cosi's range of click-and-go base units or it can also be installed using the car's three-point seat belt.
When used in conjunction with Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Base a light and sound indicator will notify you of its correct installation.
The car seat can also be adjusted into a unique upward position so older babies have more legroom. As a result, you can use the seat for longer in the rearward facing position which is the safest way for younger children to travel.
