I’m 23 weeks pregnant and been using for a while twice a day morning and night. My sister used it in her pregnancy and got no stretch marks so it made sense I’d use the same and up to now I’m happy with the results, it smells good and absorbs pretty fast the only downside (apart from the price) I manage to get it everywhere our bedroom wall and bedding it might be easier to apply as a spray?
Very moisturising, pleasant smell and makes you feel pampered
Weaknesses:
Greasy and not great in hot weather

I love using this product as it smells lovely, moisturises my dry skin on breasts and bump and feels like a luxury product when used, i'm hoping it will do the trick for stretch mark prevention too however my main purpose for purchasing this product was to prevent/manage dry skin.
It does have a slightly greasy texture so I do tend to wipe myself down slightly before putting on any clothing to avoid any stickiness, also in hot weather as I have resorted to applying powder to reduce sweating.
I am on my second trimester. started using bio oil in the beginning of my second trimester - all over my tummy, breast and face twice a day. My second trimester is almost over now never felt ichy and my face complexion has even out ,infect got many compliments in mean time. I would highly recommend this product with a result so visible in no time.
Good oil, I've used it during and after my pregnancy. Gentle fragrance and skin feels nice to touch after application. I only had a few stretch marks under my breast. I'll definitely recommend it. Good for price.
Bought this for my first pregnancy but it left a horrible greasy feeling afterwards. Fortunately I didn't get stretch marks on either pregnancy but I'm not convinced it works as I didn't use it for very long.
I have only recently started using this product, and as a first time mum, of a young age, stretch marks are a real fear. I cannot say whether it is working with being so early on in my pregnancy, but my skin feels a lot more subtle and I have not found it leaving marks on clothes or bedding at this time. I wish I’d be allowed to write another review as I progress throughout my journey, maybe something the site can think about for mums to be.
I've been using bio oil for about a month now and it seems to be working well. I live in a village with a small chemist and was able to buy it there which was good. Things that are easy to source are always a benefit.
The consistency is very runny and you have to rub it in quickly. I also sit the bottle in the sink when I'm rubbing it in so I don't get the residue on any furnishings.
It's a little on the expensive side but I'll be happy if it works right to the end of my pregnancy.
Nothing will get rid of scars, this product is good at toning the skin so it all matches and scars less noticeable. Product is oily on hands but rubs in well Nd has good coverage so not a lot needed
This cream was my salvation during all my pregnancy, is too oiled for me. I damaged some t- shirts with it but I didn’t get any stretch marks on my bode.
A bit on the pricey side, but really works at helping your stretch marks to fade. I got a lot of them during pregnancy and this faded them all really quickly.
I tried sample of bio oil, my skin is very dry especially on my face, I think this bio oil did the job, but didn't like a consistency for my it's too oily, better prefer using creams.
During my pregnancy I managed to put on a lot of weight meaning I also gained a lot of stretch marks. I tried this religiously all the way through my pregnancy and still now afterwards and it’s barely done anything. It takes a while to sink into the skin and it’s all quite a lot of money for something that isn’t the best at what it does.
I’ve been using Bio Oil since I found out I’m pregnant. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. Not sure it reduced existing scars but definitely no new stretch marks (6 months pregnant).
It’s a bit oily so you have to wait until it absorbs (quicker on warm wet skin), also the bottle leaves a ring of oil on n the surface do be careful where you store it.
This product is very effective,
It works well on the skin to ease the stretch of skin because of increasing size of tummy..
However it takes long to rub it on skin absorb it.
Well.. i will recommend this product to my friends who are expecting to in their 3rd trimester soon.
When using bio oil I found it to be very greasy and made my clothes stick to me I didn’t enjoy it being on my skin so only used it for a month then found something else, comes out well from the bottle maybe a little to well at times so can get messy all in all it’s a good product just wasn’t for me
Made my skin spotty didn’t really see a difference in the stretch marks

I found this was a really messy product to use and made my skin break out in quite a few spots because of the oil. I think it’s too pricey also as I don’t feel the product works very well. Wouldn’t use this again and skin is much better for not using it.
this products actually works! bio oil is great if you have light stretch marks or very red and purple stretch marks - mine were very bad and kept using this oil and was great - also top tip is when having a bath put some in - the only problem is when applying this oil it feels like it never dries - and very oily.
I hear good stuff about it but it takes a while to get dry on skin and when it does it make me skin spotty and I didn’t see a big change on my skin. Maybe isn’t good for my skin type.
Caused an allergic reaction, smells very chemically

I was excited to try bio oil in my first pregnancy and went out to buy some quite early on in my pregnancy. I applied it across my torso and on some existing stretch marks on my legs but within about half an hour my skin started itching all over, to the point that it felt like my skin was on fire. The only way to relive it was to sit in a cold bath and wash the oil off thoroughly (not so easy to do). I have since discovered a few friends who have had similar reactions so possibly worth doing a patch test first. I had no reason to suspect I would have a reaction as I do not have sensitive skin and have never reacted to cosmetics before or since.
