This little thermometer is a great product for new mums, perfect for both in the bathroom and in the bedroom. It floats in the bath water and flashes if the temperature of the water is too hot, it also comes with a stand so it can stand up in the bedroom when in use in there too. I was bought mine as a gift when pregnant, however think the price is very reasonable and would definitely pay full price for it. - Strengths:

I've never owned one before until having my 3rd child. At night I use in the room my daughter sleeps in and use regularly for the bath. It flashes red if too hot and floats which is ideal. It's been really accurate with the actual room and bath temp. The only downside I'd say is that the display doesnt light up so it's hard to see at night

This thermometer is overall very good, it's a nice little shape to have in the bath and in rooms. It floats in the bath so can always see what the temperature is, it flashes a red light when water becomes too hot , has a little stand for when it's in a room so doesn't have to be led down. However, you cant see the display in the dark when baby is asleep to check it which can be a problem if your baby is a light sleeper. - Strengths:

Got this on discount in Lidl so I'm glad o didn't pay £14 plus for it (and definitely wouldn't) but for the £5 I paid it is a great product. I only really use it in the bath water. Seems a bit aggressive to have to hit it on a surface to turn on but once it the water it stays on which is very useful. There is also a red flashing light that you can see through bubbles if the water is too hot - again very useful.
Overall a great product, but as with all tommee tippee stuff, slightly overpriced. - Strengths:

I managed to pick this up "cheap" from mothercare for about £14. To turn it on to read the temperature you need to "hit" it on the screen. Little taps didnt work. Alittle strange.
The product is okay as a room thermometer not as a bath thermometer. I put it in the bath to check it and well.. it malfunctioned. I had to pull it apart to dry it out. There is not much water proofing in the product around the battery. Just about works. I do think it is over priced for what you get. - Strengths:

We use this thermometer for bath only and it does what is says. It is easy to use, it is accurate and shows clearly when the temperature is too high. You just need to tap it to activate and it will show the right temperature in seconds. The design and colour is nice too. Very pleased. -

I bought this bath thermometer just after my first baby was born, she hated the bath we used the elbow test and were convinced that it wasn’t the temperature of the bath! Well how wrong were we the bath was too cold for our daughter the thermometer popped into the bath showed that the temperature we were going for was at least 3 degrees lower than recommended so we felt so bad. Once we used the ‘corrected’ temperature our daughter became a massive fan of the bath and we cannot get her out of the bath now she loves it! The thermometer is a great design flashes red when temperature is too high which is handy and has a digital screen so you can see what is best for your baby. The only downside is due to using in every bath in an area with hard water I struggle to get the limescale off the back and out of the grooves, therefore I ended up getting a new one as I was paranoid it looked grubby. Now we ensure that it is cleaned after every bath and dries quickly to avoid the same happening again. - Strengths:

We brought this during a lidl baby event a few months back, not knowing if it was any good but also knowing that it would be worth getting a room/bath thermometer at some point and we haven't been let down. All you have to do is tap it against a solid surface to turn it on, so it's fairly easy to use but it does go through the batteries compared to other electrical products. We really like how it works in the bath as it floats on top of the bath water and flashes red when the water gets to hot and then we just check the water with our elbow as you can obviously never be too careful. This has been a fantastic buy for us and was a fantastic bargain. - Strengths:

Handy for bath and bedroom. Temperature seems accurate as it matches the temp on our baby monitor. Flashes red if bath water is too hot which is great. Not able to turn off after use and stays on for a long time so will drain battery. Really handy as can just grab when needed and not have to faff about. Puts my mind at ease because always used to worry if the bath was too hot or too cold. I use ours in the bath and not in a room as we have a groegg for our bedroom, but I love how it indicates if the temperature is too hot or too cold!

Love this little thermometer. I use it as a room thermometer and bath thermometer. Easy to use .... My 8 year old loves helping with his 5 month old sister and he runs her bath checking the thermometer (obviously I always double check the temperature)

This product is really easy to use, you simply tap it against a hard surface and the display comes on. When I was shopping around for a room thermometer I became aware that I also would need one for the bath. That’s when I came across this 2 in 1. It’s brilliant. we didn't get on with this at all. Found it difficult to turn it on (would have to hit it hard to turn on) and when it was time to replace the battery I literally couldn't get the back off for ages. The tommee tippee room and bath thermometer I found was a handy little gadget, it takes both room and water temperatures. The thermometer floats around in the bath tub making ig a nice addition to the bath toys to look at. In the water, it gives off an accurate reading and when the water is too hot it flashes red. I found this product hard to turn on for the room temperature as you have to give it a bit of a bash for it to come on. As a result, I gave up using it for taking room temperature and bought a gro egg instead. - Strengths:

Description
Tommee Tippee's Bath and Room Thermometer provides quick and accurate temperature readings to help keep baby safe and comfortable during bath and sleep time. Designed in the TT star shape, the thermometer is styled to suit your decor.
For babies the room temperature should be approximately 18°C while the optimal temperature for bath is at body temperature, between 36.5°C and 38°C.
- Gently tap the unit to activate the display and temperature will be displayed in a few seconds. The temperature can be displayed in fahrenheit or celsius.
- The LED warning light on the display panel will illuminate red when the water temperature is above 39°C and too hot for baby.
- Thermometer floats in the bath and is certified as a bath toy. The optimum temperature for baby's bath water is body temperature, between 36.5°C and 38°C.
