Philips AVENT Bath and Room Thermometer

I bought this because it said it could he used as both room and bath thermometer and it can indeed! One of the best things I have bought.
Takes a moment to read the temperature however it has helpful guides on it to show what temperature the bath water should be. Very useful item.

Product is waterproof, ideal for bath times. Perfect for first time mums who aren’t sure what temperature to keep the water / if its the right temperature.

It is also child friendly, so no way in harming baby / child.

Can also be used as a room thermometer which is great to double check room isn’t too hot / cold for baby.

Used this product every day for well over 12 months. Was always accurate. Has a nice design and never got mouldy even though it was in water a lot. It did stop working after a year or so but I presume the batteries just ran out.

We bought this before our son to be born as a new parents we wanted to be sure that we set the correct temperature .My boy is 2 and we still use it sometimes.

Excellent item and a great price. Have used it as a room thermometer only and works really effectively. Easy to move around too. Would definitely recommend.

We used this as a room thermometer in the early days of parenthood and then just in the bath. Its reliable and feels much safer than the flimsy one that came free with the baby bath. Yes, you can use your elbow etc to test the water temperature but why take the risk. Also my husband doesn't feel heat as much as me so its been a life saver to him. Good to see how much the water cools down during the bath too. Our little boy plays with it happily too. We've also taken it on holiday or to relatives houses for added peace of mind. At 4 and a half years old, it is just beginning to get a little black mould colouration on the outside (more to do with us than the product) and with another baby on the way we will invest in another one for sure.

This is so easy to use, simply drop it into the bath water, or leave it in the room to keep a check of room temperature.
I bought this to use with my second baby as I was worried I may have got complacent with bath temperature as my eldest got older and could have warmer water. I needed something quick and easy to use, while wrestling with two children.
All I do it drop this in the bath while running the water and glance at this before popping the baby in.
All parts are fit together to snugly that it is as though its made from only one part, so easy to give it a quick wipe over and keep it clean.
It needs a but of welly to open it up and change the batteries, but I consider this to be a good thing as my youngest has used it as a teether a few times, with no risk of getting to the batteries by herself!

Beautiful small silicone room thermometer, easily wiped down and pretty to look at! Accurate readings! Great value for money

This is one of the best baby products I have brought. It is so easy to use and even has the correct bath and room temperature written on it. I always keep it in the bath with my son which makes it so easy to keep the bath at the correct temperature the whole time he is in the bath.

Such a useful product to have on hand, especially in those early days when you want to be sure baby is at the right temperature
It helped us new parents to gauge if baby needed heating on, or a window open and also how many layers of clothes she should be in
Again so useful for bath time to check water temperature was correct when I wasn’t confident that I could just tell by touch. It also allowed us to discover baby’s favourite temperature of bath which meant future bath times were more enjoyable for everyone.

Had one of these 3 years now and still going ideal to see what children’s rooms are , used more when was newborns , can be used in the bath also

I mainly use for the bath. Digital so easily readable however takes a few minutes for the reading to be accurate. I like that on the display screen it says what the room and a bath temp should be so we can't forget.

Everyone said we didn't need a bath thermometer when we were shopping for our first but we got this one as piece of mind as we could use it in the bath and in his room and I wouldn't be without it. We were told we'd know how hot the bath was just using an elbow but when we were shown how to give a bath and how hot the bath should be we were both shocked how much hotter it felt than what we'd imagined. This thermometer takes all the guess work out of bath time and it's so simple to use just throw it in and let it float around until your ready to put baby in.
It has the ideal temperature on the display so you can't forget what it's meant to be and when your done in the bath stick it on a shelf and it'll always tell you how hot the room is, we keep ours in our son's room, and with no plug your not using any electricity having that piece of mind.
It's so easy to keep clean, with no areas you can't get to and it's rounded edges and softer feel mean if you leave it in the bath with baby you don't have to worry about it scratching baby. It would be nice if it was nearer the £10 mark because it is so simple but it is also long lasting so you do probably get your money's worth and more back. Ours was bought 3 years ago for our first and it's still in perfect condition and is used everyday in my son's room and now in the bath as well for the new baby. Would highly recommend.

We use this for our babies room as well as in his bath. It gives a quick accurate reading and means we do not have to have a separate thermometer for the bath.

Love how precise this is. Our thermometer on the monitor gives a ball park. This one gives you to the exact. We got it when the weather was extreamly hot and now we are going colder it just puts our mind at rest. Plus in the bath it just bobs around making sure it's the correct temperature

Very easy to use, I was worried about getting the right temperature for my baby to bath in and this is so easy to use and store I don’t know what I would do without it!

This thermometer is great and easy to use, we just pop it in the bath every bath time as I can’t really tell with my elbow as I love hot baths. It displays the correct temp for the bath and was it correct for the baby to Be in. We haven’t used it for the rooms however I can imagine it does equally a good job.

I’m really bad at telling temperature and it’s definitely helped me avoid scalding my baby.

Would like it more if I could tell at a glance that it’s the right temperature instead of having to pick it up and read it.

I find this so helpful for the bath. What I find warm water my husband may think it’s too warm so with this handy little device it let you know what’s ok for little one before putting in the bath.

Easy to use. Ideal for checking both room and water temperature. My baby likes to play with it during bath time.
Would be better if it had lights on so you can check room temperature at night easily without turn any other lights on.

I purchased this back in 2013 for my first child. It gives a spot on temperature and gives you peace of mind that you have it right.
I'm now using the same one 5yrs later for my second child. Still works perfect.
No buttons to press and easy to use.

Can’t fault this thermometer, we started off using as a room thermometer as well as a bath thermometer but now it just stays in the bathroom. It’s quick to read, it’s the baby’s favourite bath “toy” (even though he has tons to choose from!) it’s watertight and quite cute.

We love this! Looks cute, feels really robust and durable and I love the fact it doubles up as a bath thermometer and then you can also put it in baby’s bedroom to keep an eye on the temperature there.
It floats on the water surface so you can easily see the temperature from above and doubles up as a bath toy. No sharp edges or delicate parts do fun for baby to grab.

After 3 years I noticed the temperature gauge looked a bit grubby/mouldy. I tried cleaning it with a cotton bud but it wouldn’t budge, but it’s so easy to use I was happy to replace it. Also good to use in pregnancy to make sure your bath isn’t too hotb
