Philips AVENT Bath and Room Thermometer

I have had two of these, they both broke pretty quickly and didn’t seem particularly reliable at showing the right temperature. Not impressed and wouldn’t recommend

We used this as a room thermometer in the early days of parenthood and then just in the bath. Its reliable and feels much safer than the flimsy one that came free with the baby bath. Yes, you can use your elbow etc to test the water temperature but why take the risk. Also my husband doesn't feel heat as much as me so its been a life saver to him. Good to see how much the water cools down during the bath too. Our little boy plays with it happily too. We've also taken it on holiday or to relatives houses for added peace of mind. At 4 and a half years old, it is just beginning to get a little black mould colouration on the outside (more to do with us than the product) and with another baby on the way we will invest in another one for sure.

This thermometer is still going strong after being used every day for 6 months. At first we used it in his crib to check it wasn’t too hot and from about 3 weeks we’ve used it in the bath. It finds the temperature very quickly and the screen doesn’t steam up so we can always see the temperature. I highly recommend this thermometer.

We are currently on our second one as we absolutely loved this. The only reason we replaced was because we had our first one for ages. So easy to use and has always been very accurate. We have even used in babies bedroom to monitor temperature. Would buy again and would definitely recommend.

Were on our second Avent bath thermometer after loving the original for our first child. It is so easy and convenient to use. Its accurate and from a brand like Avent i feel very reassured. It also makes for a great teether in the bath for my little one.

Never do bath times without this products quickly displays the temperature of the bath so is fab to not burn your little one.

This thermometer is perfect for in the bath and out. It's very accurate and easy to use. It props up on any flat surface and also looks cute!

Such a hand thermometer to have. Mine lives in the bathroom so I can see it’s warm enough in the room before bath and the temperature of the bath. Took on holiday with me so handy.

Great product, I use in Bath to check water temperature and use in bedroom to check room temperature when putting my daughter to bed, would definitely recommend this product.

Helpful as a first time mum, says temperature on the flower which is helpful when running the bath but can be a bit top heavy.

It is a lovely little flower like temp guide, I use it in the nursery and her bath. It sits nicely on the side and is easy to keep lean. Very helpful through hot weather I love it

We bought this before our son to be born as a new parents we wanted to be sure that we set the correct temperature .My boy is 2 and we still use it sometimes.

Everyone said we didn't need a bath thermometer when we were shopping for our first but we got this one as piece of mind as we could use it in the bath and in his room and I wouldn't be without it. We were told we'd know how hot the bath was just using an elbow but when we were shown how to give a bath and how hot the bath should be we were both shocked how much hotter it felt than what we'd imagined. This thermometer takes all the guess work out of bath time and it's so simple to use just throw it in and let it float around until your ready to put baby in.
It has the ideal temperature on the display so you can't forget what it's meant to be and when your done in the bath stick it on a shelf and it'll always tell you how hot the room is, we keep ours in our son's room, and with no plug your not using any electricity having that piece of mind.
It's so easy to keep clean, with no areas you can't get to and it's rounded edges and softer feel mean if you leave it in the bath with baby you don't have to worry about it scratching baby. It would be nice if it was nearer the £10 mark because it is so simple but it is also long lasting so you do probably get your money's worth and more back. Ours was bought 3 years ago for our first and it's still in perfect condition and is used everyday in my son's room and now in the bath as well for the new baby. Would highly recommend.

Can’t fault this thermometer, we started off using as a room thermometer as well as a bath thermometer but now it just stays in the bathroom. It’s quick to read, it’s the baby’s favourite bath “toy” (even though he has tons to choose from!) it’s watertight and quite cute.

I mainly use for the bath. Digital so easily readable however takes a few minutes for the reading to be accurate. I like that on the display screen it says what the room and a bath temp should be so we can't forget.

This is a lifesaver! I can easily monitor my daughters bedroom temperature, either summer or winter it gives an accurate reading. It’s a lovely flower design so doesn’t look out of place in her bedroom.

I love this product as a new mum you worry about everything this just makes it so much easier you never have to guess. It can be used in any rooms and in the bath. It’s a cute design and it’s easy to clean

Had one of these 3 years now and still going ideal to see what children’s rooms are , used more when was newborns , can be used in the bath also

This is a good thermometer, you chuck it in the bath and within seconds you have the temperature. It also has the ideal temperature for both in the bath and room which is helpful especially when you are sleep deprived and cant remember anything!! It is also sturdy as my little boy loved to pick it up and throw it around The only downside is that it is a little on the expensive side.Apart from that a good wee product which is really handy.

Such a useful product to have on hand, especially in those early days when you want to be sure baby is at the right temperature
It helped us new parents to gauge if baby needed heating on, or a window open and also how many layers of clothes she should be in
Again so useful for bath time to check water temperature was correct when I wasn’t confident that I could just tell by touch. It also allowed us to discover baby’s favourite temperature of bath which meant future bath times were more enjoyable for everyone.

Used this product every day for well over 12 months. Was always accurate. Has a nice design and never got mouldy even though it was in water a lot. It did stop working after a year or so but I presume the batteries just ran out.

Essential little helper for first time parents, to make sure bath temperature is perfect to our little bundle of joy. Lovely design which floats if there's enough water in bathtub. Easy to use, and read. Only after bath it need to be quickly dried and cleaned to prevent appearance of mould. I think I got some damaged one, as sometimes after putting it to the water it makes very high squeaky sound, no idea why.
