It floats on the water surface so you can easily see the temperature from above and doubles up as a bath toy. No sharp edges or delicate parts do fun for baby to grab.
After 3 years I noticed the temperature gauge looked a bit grubby/mouldy. I tried cleaning it with a cotton bud but it wouldn’t budge, but it’s so easy to use I was happy to replace it. Also good to use in pregnancy to make sure your bath isn’t too hotb

It is also child friendly, so no way in harming baby / child.

Love how precise this is. Our thermometer on the monitor gives a ball park. This one gives you to the exact. We got it when the weather was extreamly hot and now we are going colder it just puts our mind at rest. Plus in the bath it just bobs around making sure it's the correct temperature - Strengths:

Easy to use. Ideal for checking both room and water temperature. My baby likes to play with it during bath time.
Would be better if it had lights on so you can check room temperature at night easily without turn any other lights on.

I bought this product a few months before my baby was born now 10 months old and I was disappointed after these where the best brand to use when I worked in the care industry. I was using it for about 4 months before mould started growing on it and you cant get it off and then water got into the back of the thermometer and it stopped working totally. It was easy replaced by phillips but I would have rather it did not break to start with. - Strengths:

I’m really bad at telling temperature and it’s definitely helped me avoid scalding my baby.

I bought this because it said it could he used as both room and bath thermometer and it can indeed! One of the best things I have bought.
Takes a moment to read the temperature however it has helpful guides on it to show what temperature the bath water should be. Very useful item. -

This thermometer is great and easy to use, we just pop it in the bath every bath time as I can’t really tell with my elbow as I love hot baths. It displays the correct temp for the bath and was it correct for the baby to Be in. We haven’t used it for the rooms however I can imagine it does equally a good job. - Strengths:

I never used a bath thermometer for my first 2 children, but for my third I decided to get one as my 2nd child hated baths for a long time and, looking back, I think maybe it was too hot!!Read more
This thermometer is great as it floats in the bath, and reads temperatures to 0.1 decimal place. The only thing I find is, it takes several seconds to change temp, and for example it will start at the room temp of 16°C, then jump to say 31°C, then several seconds later change to the correct temp. So it can initially be misleading as to what the actual temp is, but once you know it does this its fine - Strengths:

This themometer is perfect. It’s easy to use I just chuck it in the bath when the bath is running and it flashes red if bath is to hot. I brought this as my partner was not comfortable is ‘guessing’ the bath temp so it’s definatley put his mind at ease. It comes with a tiny stand that it can sit on so you can also use it for the temp of the room you are in. - Strengths:

This is a brilliant thermometer if you want to test the temperature of the room or the bath water to make sure it is suitable! It floats ontop of the water making it easy to read. Would recommend to any parent!

Absolutely love this room and bath thermometer would recommend to any new parent, forget the expensive plug in ones, this does the job of reading temp in room and water, it’s small, cute and really portable, it’s also really accurate. I bought this to use with my second baby as I was worried I may have got complacent with bath temperature as my eldest got older and could have warmer water. I needed something quick and easy to use, while wrestling with two children.
All I do it drop this in the bath while running the water and glance at this before popping the baby in.
All parts are fit together to snugly that it is as though its made from only one part, so easy to give it a quick wipe over and keep it clean.
It needs a but of welly to open it up and change the batteries, but I consider this to be a good thing as my youngest has used it as a teether a few times, with no risk of getting to the batteries by herself! - Strengths:

I bought this after my third attempt at getting my baby's bath temp right & still getting it wrong (the last one was a little too cold meaning by the end of the bath her hands were a little purpley). You put it straight into the bath whilst you're running it & the temp adjusts as you run the bath, there is a slight delay but not too long. It tells you on the front what temp the bath should be & what temp the room should be as you can use it as a normal thermometer for their room. It's pretty & eye catching which means my baby likes looking at it in the bath plus it's durable which means as she grows & starts to play with her toys more she can play with it too!Read more - Strengths:
