We have a little bit different mat, but also with removable top. It looks nice, the changing pads are not sliding and if you use without changing pad baby feels better when he's lie down on it, its not so cold with this top. Easy to take out and wash.

We have lots of the Barley Bebe products from Clair de Lune in our nursery and this is probably Teddy’s favourite. It fits perfectly on the changing station and it’s so cosy on his baby tushy. Clair de Lune make this by hand to order which makes us feel really special and you can see the quality in their work from the fabric and towelling they use to their workmanship.
The changing mat has a removable top layer that has a water resistant back, if you have a boy then you know that they tend to pee everywhere, only downside I would say is that it would be handy if it came with a spare topper but you can buy a spare pair, and you can also was the full changing mat, or just the topper.

This Clair de Lune Changing Mat is made with the Barley Bebe print and designed with layers of towelling so it can be used even when the top layer needs washing.
Filling: 100% Polyester Machine washable at 40°C.
Made in the UK.
Available in Blue, Grey and Pink.
