We purchased this as we had britax for our first child and had no problems, also all the new regulations made us look for an Isize seat. We liked this one as the isofix base pivots so fits almost any car, so you don't get any problems where the seat is not postioned correctly. When affixed to anything it has markers to tell you if it is fitted correctly or incorrect with indicators of red and green, which gives you peace of mind. We have user on long journeys but as per guidance we have stopped each hour to get our daughter out, however we have had no problems with her head being forward or her not being comfortable. All covers easily removable for washing too. Fab product. - Strengths:

The Britax Baby safe I-size was our night number one choice of car seats.
The seat padding is comfortable and adjustable as the baby grows. The additional D-SIP offers even more safety is however easily forgotten to be flipped out.
The sun canopy looks smart and fits the design but it is a bit short and does not protect babies head from sun.
The car seat is easily used with the iso-fix adapter and clicks in and is released easily even in a 3 door car. The same counts for usage if the car seat with our pram - Strengths:

We bought this car seat as it has a number of safety features for peace of mind when travelling, and it is also compatible with our Babystyle Oyster 2 pram without the use of adapters!
When this car seat was first purchased the button to release the harness was a bit stiff and difficult to use, after a few practise runs and now using the car seat almost daily for a week this issue has resolved itself and is easy to use.
Use with an Isofix base is excellent, the car seat clicks in and out easily and is also quite quiet which is great when Baby is asleep.
We have quite a small car and the seat needs to be manoeuvred to click on the base rather then just click in and out in one movement, by having this car seat along with an Isofix base this isn’t a problem!

We got the car seat and Isofix base. It's really simple to set up and attaches and detaches really easily.
The covers come off easily and are machine washable.
Baby fits snugly in with or without the insert and seems to be quite comfy as she falls asleep quite easily in it.
It is one of the safer versions of the car seat with foam padding instead of the old fashion polystyrene which makes it more insulating.
Sometimes my baby comes out sweating and she's only wearing a sleep suit. Overall a really good car seat.
My only gripe is that the buckle is hard to clip in as the bottom padding gets in the way and the clip doesn't come out far enough.
Also, the harness is not long enough. I feel it's sometimes hard to feed baby's arm through the restricted length of the harness.

We purchased this car seat from a smaller retailer along with the isofix base. We have overall been very happy with the seat. Our little boy is happy going in the seat and falls asleep quickly. It supported him as a new born with the extra insert, when this was removed he was equally as well supported. Once we worked out how to alter the straps then it has been easy to adjust.
The fastening is extremely stiff to begin with which meant lots of messing around with a new born in which has been a bit of a pain. - Strengths:

I really like this car seat, it’s so easy to swap from base to pram frame! My baby is snug and safe, and I can drive knowing he’s well protected. I love the twisty side protection.
The harness was a bit stiff to use the first few times.

Description
Britax Baby-Safe i-SIZE has been engineered to conform to the new car seat regulation ECE R129 (i-Size). It is is suitable from birth to 15 months or up to 83 cm.
The infant carrier has in insert which provides extra support for newborns, and energy absorption in case of a collision.
The insert can be removed and the height of the headrest adjusted, to provide more space as your child grows.
The Baby-Safe i-SIZE features lie-flat technology: adjusting the headrest height also adjusts the lying position.
