I have had this carrier and the miracle, i thought i was upgrading and i really wasn't. I mainly use mine to pop into the shops or short walks so it's not too bad but all the weight is on your shoulders and not distributed at all.
My little chap seems very comfortable in it and i have never had any concerns on that front, it's purely my comfort. It's really well made, i like the two different heights for newborns and babies. It's got a satin finish on the inside of the waist strap so it never catches on any of my clothing and it's well padded.
Would defy recommend to try before you buy.

We purchased this as a second carrier when we forgot to bring our Ergobaby on holiday.

It is superior to the ergobaby in many ways - clips are super easy to use and there is no struggle to do them up when you are on your own. Also there is no newborn insert needed. Because of this I preferred to use the babybjorn when my baby was an infant.

However as soon as he got older and heavier it became really uncomfortable to use, and I felt like my hips were not bearing any of the weight no matter how I adjusted it. My back ached everytime I wore it. I switched back to the ergobaby and straight away I could feel the difference - more weight was being carried on my hips. So I started using it again - however it is a massive struggle to do up the back clip each time - I really hate this part of the design.

Note that my husband actually prefers the bjorn, I think this is because it is less of an issue for him to carry more weight in his shoulders. He loves the fact that it is so easy to put on and off.

I wish that the two carriers could be meshed together!

I’ll start off by saying I won the competition to try this product for free in order to leave a review. I was SOOOO excited! Having looked at the price of it, there is not a single chance that I would be forking out that amount of money on this product, as lovely as it is. To be fair, having used the product, you can see why it’s expensive, so if it’s going to be something that you use a lot so need it to be good quality & comfortable, then you might be willing to pay that price, but I must just be a Scrooge.

The product itself is lovely, you can tell it’s really strong & durable & that your baby is definitely going to be secure in it. It feels strong, the clips feel strong, not at all flimsy & the material is soft & foamy so really comfortable to wear for both baby & parent! We just went on holiday to Center Parcs, first family holiday that was, & I thought “wow! What better time to test this product out!” So we took it with us... now, I don’t know if I’m just dumb or impatient or maybe just a perfect mixture of both, but for love nor money could I work out how to put the bloody thing on. Reading the instructions (there is also an instruction flap bit on the actual product which is really rather clever so you don’t have to take the instructions out with you which is a book which gives The Hobbit a run for its money, although that’s only because it’s printed in every single language spoken on the planet Earth), i gave up. My boyfriend persevered & managed to figure it out although his face didn’t really fill me with confidence as he put it on & tried to do the clips up. We got there eventually & got baby in, he seemed to like it, he wasn’t crying anyway so that’s always a plus right?

It was comfortable to wear, I would never have been able to have got it on myself, my boyfriend had to help me & tighten it once it was on & then he tried it on & needed me to tighten it for him to get it to be comfortable.

Now, this is where I was dumb. I’ve been reading the reviews on here & everyone was saying how great it is & im like okay, no one else has had a problem. It came with a zip at the bottom which you can open either side, which i later found out was to make room for babies legs. Well, I didn’t know this & I cut it off with scissors, with great difficulty might I add. Probably because it’s not meant to actually be cut off. (See pictures) So please people, if you’re dumb like me, don’t ruin it by cutting the thread although if it wasn’t meant to be cut, why make it bright red thread?! It was just asking to be removed. The product still works without it so I’m glad I didn’t completely destroy it before even trying it...

So, to conclude, it’s a brilliant product, especially if you’ve just come into some money. Comfortable to wear & makes life easier if you’re in a busy place where the buggy wouldn’t be ideal. It would be better, for me, if it were easier to get on, & if the thread wasn’t a stupid colour but my boyfriend loves it!
