This car seat is a good solid seat but doesn’t rear face, would be ideal if it did. My son is very comfortable in it. Would recommend to friends for children over 2 years. - Strengths:

I do like this product, as it is neutral in colour for any gender baby, can be used from 9 months or 9kg in weight upwards which is quite good. I don’t like that you can’t have it rear facing as that would be safer, I wish it was an isofix base rather than seatbelted in but apart from that I can’t really fault it. It has a button to recline the seat slightly for car naps, and the option to spin it either side dependant on which side of the car door your car seat is closest to.Read more - Strengths:

The good points are it is very secure once fastened into the car, I have found the way it fastens is the next best thing to isofix.
Brilliant idea how you can spin the seat around making it so easy to get baby in and out of the car.
Another bonus is the seat has different reclining positions.

Description
The Maxi-Cosi Axiss is suitable for a toddler weighing from 9 to 18 kg (approx. 9 months to 4 years)
Its design enables parents to seat their child securely without leaning over. This Group 1 car seat rotates 90° in the direction of the door opening and enables front-on access to easily lift your child in or out of the car seat and secure them in mere seconds.
Once your little one is securely buckled up, you can rotate the seat forward again.
The Axiss’ colour indicators show parents when the seat has been safely returned to the correct position for travel. The Axiss features 8 different reclining positions, from an upright to sleep mode. Each position can be easily selected with the lever on the front of the seat.
The seat has extra padding for your child's head, back and bottom and the headrest and harness are simply adjusted to provide a secure and comfortable fit as your child grows.
