This car seat is great for my almost 3 year old! He's quite heavy do the fact that the car seat turns 90 degrees makes getting him in and out of the car really easy. The only downside to this car seat is that it's quite difficult to take out of the car and when putting back in its quite difficult to fit it securely in the car. - Strengths:

I absolutely love this car seat. My daughter sits comfortably in it and gets a good view out of the car window.
Certainly the best feature is the spin. It makes life SO SO much Easier. I’m heavily pregnant with twins and this seat has helped me so much. So easy to use and not a strain on me when battling a moody toddler!! - Strengths:

We bought this car seat as for one of the main reasons I suffer from a bad back and struggled to lift my 2nd son into a front facing car seat, the fact this seat rotated made it far easier to lift him into the seat and ensure he was safely strapped in, was very easy to install, easy to remove and clean the covers. - Strengths:

We bought this car seat for our baby. I love it is so easy to get baby in or out as seat turns to aside.. Seat got sleeping function. When he falls asleep you can lift the seat from the bottom up and your baby will enjoy the rest of journey in comfort. Love it.

Got this car seat for my car to use when I’m not with my husband. It’s a great car seat and so easy to use.

I liked this car seat but my little one is quite uncomfortable in it, it’s quite big and bulky.
The good points are it is very secure once fastened into the car, I have found the way it fastens is the next best thing to isofix.
Brilliant idea how you can spin the seat around making it so easy to get baby in and out of the car.
Another bonus is the seat has different reclining positions.

I got the black car seat very good and strong although it is very bulky and heavy. The colour range is not great in these however but function wise these seats are great.
Saves a lot of strain on mums and dads backs when putting the baby i to the car. Also with new regulations rear facing is compulsory up to 1yr and a half i think. - Strengths:

I have been using this car seat for two years and I wouldn’t change it. It is really easy to use and makes putting my nearly three year old into a car seat much easier with less strain on my back. The car seat design is good and comfortable for my daughter, it can be led back for when your child sleeps. Although it is fairly expensive, it appears very sturdy. - Strengths:

I found this car seat fiddly to set up, however once in place its a breeze. We chose this to be a permanent fixture in our car and now it makes life so easy. I don't bump his head, strain my back or get cramps in my shoulders or neck.

We brought the axiss half price on sale. My husband has a bad shoulder and struggled to put our daughter in the car in a front or rear facing seat. This seat makes it so easy. Our daughter loves it.
If our daughter is wearing tights, the buckle often catches and snags them when we are lifting her out. If she accidentally sits on the buckle it leaves a bruise on her bottom.
The seat is very heavy, which makes me feel that it is sturdy, this is mainly due to the mechanism, but it came mean that if we need to transfer it to another car ie grand parents it's very heavy to carry. - Strengths:

This seat was fab before now I’ve had to stretch at strange angles to get a wiggly baby into her seat comfortably pulling my back etc but with this seat it’s so much easier although at first it can be fiddly to sort the seat out it soon becomes easier. - Strengths:

I struggled to get my child in and out of the car, especially when parked in narrow spaces where I couldn’t fully open the car door. This car seat has been a life saver. No more pressure on my back or having to carry my child in awkward positions to get him in and out.
The seat is a little bulky which meant that his legs were close to the front seat before he reached the max weight he could use the seat to so we had to switch to the next seat up a little earlier than expected.
The bulkiness also meant that it wasn’t very practical to move seats from one car to another.
However, I will most definitely use this car seat for my next child simply for the swivel function. - Strengths:

I love this seat as it makes putting my 3 year old into the car so easy. It's not easy to lift a toddler up and over the side of a car seat but the rotating seat makes it so easy as they can be lifted in without having to twist them or yourself. The only draw back is that's in order for the seat to turn it has to have a large back and this can mean that the front seat has to be quite far forward in order to give the child leg room. Description
The Maxi-Cosi Axiss is suitable for a toddler weighing from 9 to 18 kg (approx. 9 months to 4 years)
Its design enables parents to seat their child securely without leaning over. This Group 1 car seat rotates 90° in the direction of the door opening and enables front-on access to easily lift your child in or out of the car seat and secure them in mere seconds.
Once your little one is securely buckled up, you can rotate the seat forward again.
The Axiss’ colour indicators show parents when the seat has been safely returned to the correct position for travel. The Axiss features 8 different reclining positions, from an upright to sleep mode. Each position can be easily selected with the lever on the front of the seat.
