I couldn’t praise this car seat anymore if I tried. I bought it for my son when he was 9 months and he’s only just come out of it at 4 years old. I wish he could have stayed in it longer. It stops the head roll for when there asleep as you can recline the seat. It seems comfortable my son never once complained about being in it. He loved the fact he is high so could look out the window and explore. The isofix ones are brilliant and easy to fix which my parents had or the ones that are seatbelt fixed are just as easy once you’ve got the hang of it and again are secure the seat never moved for me when in the car. I like that it was easier to get him in and out as the turn motion is brilliant and definitely helped my parents put him in and out. It is slightly heavy if moving from one car to another but for the few seconds it takes to carry it to know you’ve got a secure Seat in the car it’s worth it. Allot of people think it’s quite pricey but I dont I think it’s so worth the money when you think of it, it lasts up until they are 4! I recommend this seat to anyone I know or speak to who’s pregnant or got a child I can’t wait to use it again!Read more - Strengths:

I love this! My daughter is 3 and doesn’t complain about sitting in it. I have back pain so not having to lean in and to an angle really helps and you turn it to you then in turns and clicks back into place - Strengths:

This car seat is brilliant! I have a bad back so the twist function is brilliant! I love the rubber under the straps. It reassures you that baby is in nice and tight. We have it in back and it’s easy to clean, use and twist into place. Very good car seat. - Strengths:

I love this car seat, the swivel makes it super easy to get your child in and out without breaking your back. It’s lovely and padded and feels very comfortable. It feels safe and secure and is very easy to use. All the covers are removable and washable, so great for snacking todlers who aren’t the best at keeping clean and tidy! Rear and forward facing. The seat can be installed either side of the back of the car, as the seat can swivel left to right with just lifting a lever. The seat itself locks into position easily with your child in so you know when it is in the correct position.
The seat is not isofix, instead is installed with the seat belt but through a wrench at the back so that the seat belt is tight and taught and there is no movement in the seat itself. The weight of the seat also helps with this.
The seat itself is very comfortable and padded, with adjustable shoulder pads also included. The head rest also is adjustable as your child grows. The buckle is easy to fasten and can not be opened by my child and can be tightened so your little one is fitted snuggly into the chair.
The seat covers are also washable.
I do t know what anyone who has a 5 door car would buy any other car seat! - Strengths:

I love this seat as it makes putting my 3 year old into the car so easy. It's not easy to lift a toddler up and over the side of a car seat but the rotating seat makes it so easy as they can be lifted in without having to twist them or yourself. The only draw back is that's in order for the seat to turn it has to have a large back and this can mean that the front seat has to be quite far forward in order to give the child leg room. We brought the axiss half price on sale. My husband has a bad shoulder and struggled to put our daughter in the car in a front or rear facing seat. This seat makes it so easy. Our daughter loves it.Read more
If our daughter is wearing tights, the buckle often catches and snags them when we are lifting her out. If she accidentally sits on the buckle it leaves a bruise on her bottom.
The seat is very heavy, which makes me feel that it is sturdy, this is mainly due to the mechanism, but it came mean that if we need to transfer it to another car ie grand parents it's very heavy to carry. - Strengths:

We bought this car seat as for one of the main reasons I suffer from a bad back and struggled to lift my 2nd son into a front facing car seat, the fact this seat rotated made it far easier to lift him into the seat and ensure he was safely strapped in, was very easy to install, easy to remove and clean the covers. - Strengths:

I have a SUV car and I was struggling to get my son in and out his car seat without it hurting my back. I bought one of these and I’ve had no issues since. It easily twists with the flick of a leaver so you can easily lift the child in the stars can be placed in little handles at the side so you don’t need to root around under the child to find them once they are in. Fastens with a 5 point hardness and then pull the strap / tassel to tighten. Easy.Read more

One in and out of the car without trying to lean in or over them to fasten them up, I love the fact it still has three reclining positions for when our son falls asleep it stops his heading dropping forward, getting my lil one in and out of the car has never been so easy I always recommend our car seat to other due to the comfort factor and easiness of fitting it and using it. Couldn’t have had any more value for money if I wanted to I had this seat for my daughter from 9 months old to 4 years old! It felt safe for my daughter when sat in it hardly moving once secured in. I have been using this car seat for two years and I wouldn’t change it. It is really easy to use and makes putting my nearly three year old into a car seat much easier with less strain on my back. We bought this car seat for our baby. I love it is so easy to get baby in or out as seat turns to aside.. Seat got sleeping function. When he falls asleep you can lift the seat from the bottom up and your baby will enjoy the rest of journey in comfort. Love it.

I really like the swivel seat. It gives much easier access for putting your child in the car. I really like the lift up recline option which significantly changes the seating angle. The padding is good and the seat is comfy and supporting.Read more
Unfortunately the straps don’t tighten well or evenly so one strap is slightly looser than the other. The slots in the cover are quite large too so lots of mess can go down into the base. It is also quite tricky to remove the covers for cleaning and it is a very heavy seat that doesn’t universally fit in all cars. - Strengths:

My husband pulled his back getting my son out from a normal seat when he fell asleep. So after doing research decided to invest in this and its the best investment I've made. Description
The Maxi-Cosi Axiss is suitable for a toddler weighing from 9 to 18 kg (approx. 9 months to 4 years)
Its design enables parents to seat their child securely without leaning over. This Group 1 car seat rotates 90° in the direction of the door opening and enables front-on access to easily lift your child in or out of the car seat and secure them in mere seconds.
Once your little one is securely buckled up, you can rotate the seat forward again.
The Axiss’ colour indicators show parents when the seat has been safely returned to the correct position for travel. The Axiss features 8 different reclining positions, from an upright to sleep mode. Each position can be easily selected with the lever on the front of the seat.
The seat has extra padding for your child's head, back and bottom and the headrest and harness are simply adjusted to provide a secure and comfortable fit as your child grows.
