and we were so happy with it that we were quite disappointed when we had to change it. I'm not the tallest and strongest person, so this seat made my life easier. The fact that it rotates 90° in both directions provides easy access regardless the seat is placed on the right or left hand side of the back seat. The child is always facing you for securing the harness, so no struggle; and the rotation system works so smooth that, regardless the weight of the child, it will move back to the central position easily. Another great feature of this car seat is that it tilts to give extra comfort during nap time; that means the child head remains upright at all times. This car seat is the best car seat I have ever purchased, it’s lovely and padded and very comfortable for your child!
The seat has multiple recline position which is great if your child likes to have a nap in car!

Love this car seat very easy to put into the car safely and feels very secure in the car. Easy to loosen and tighten straps for the child to fit perfectly into the seat as well.

One in and out of the car without trying to lean in or over them to fasten them up, I love the fact it still has three reclining positions for when our son falls asleep it stops his heading dropping forward, getting my lil one in and out of the car has never been so easy I always recommend our car seat to other due to the comfort factor and easiness of fitting it and using it. It’s a must have for the modern mother

Fantastic product!

I really like the swivel seat. It gives much easier access for putting your child in the car. I really like the lift up recline option which significantly changes the seating angle. The padding is good and the seat is comfy and supporting. But I feel that the straps don’t tighten well or evenly so one strap is slightly looser than the other. The slots in the cover are quite large too so lots of mess can go down into the base. It is also quite tricky to remove the covers for cleaning and it is a very heavy seat that doesn’t universally fit in all cars.Read more - Strengths:

Brought this car seat for my 3rd baby after wanting one since my 1st was born. I have never looked at any other car seat since having it. So easy no more bumping little ones head. Also easy to install into another car. I get so many comments about it when i'm at baby groups - Strengths:

We couldn't wait to move our daughter into this car seat at 9 months, having not been happy with her Group 0 car seat.
Immediately she was so much happier & so were we as its so easier to get her in comfortable & happy! And when I feel pregnant, having always suffered with back pain that only gets worse with pregnancy, the 360 turning function was so valuable! And the adjustable head rest is great too! - Strengths:

When we saw this it looked like a great car seat and the fact it turn was great as I have a bad back. This made lifting my son easy. It is very heavy to get in and out the by don’t have to move it very often. Only problem I found was that my son liked to touch the crank bar to lock the seat belt and ended up undoing his seat - Strengths:

Amazing car seat. 9 month old loves it. Being pregnant, not having to lean and twist to get her into the seat is ideal! Turns fully right or left to suit both sides of car. Extremely secure once fitted. The multiple recline positions make it very comfy for younger baby, she sits in it like she's in an armchair. Turn can be done with one hand. Strap holders each side of car seat means no digging straps out from behind baby once he/she is in the seat. Buckle is easy to fasten, no fiddling. Only snag is the seat can be turned when reclined, but it won't always lock into the forward facing position if it's reclined, best to turn the seat in upright position until it is locked in forward facing, then recline. Can get some great colours of spare seat covers too but everything can be removed and cleaned so slated aren't essential.Read more

I have a SUV car and I was struggling to get my son in and out his car seat without it hurting my back. I bought one of these and I’ve had no issues since. It easily twists with the flick of a leaver so you can easily lift the child in the stars can be placed in little handles at the side so you don’t need to root around under the child to find them once they are in. Fastens with a 5 point hardness and then pull the strap / tassel to tighten. Easy.Read more

I love this car seat. We got this car seat when my eldest was about 1 years old. I love the fact that I could have her rear facing for so long. I like the fact it is iso fix as I feel that my daughter is a lot more secure and safer in it. It has a spin feature, so it’s easy to get her in and out of the car seat, without having to adapt awkward positions to get her into it. It can be a bit awkward and heavy moving it from one car to another; I think this is more down to the fact that every car is different and some cars iso fix points are hidden inside the seats, and some aren’t. It’s very padded and looks very comfortable; my eldest easily nods off in it. Comes in a choice of colours too. The covers are easy to take off so you can wash them as well, which is always ideal when you have messy toddlers in them.Read more

My son loves his car seat! I find the turning function extremely helpful especially in wet weather or if he is sleeping. Because the seat is able to tilt back, I know that he is comfortable when he falls asleep in the car. The seat is well padded which also ensures comfort.

The Maxi-Cosi Axiss is suitable for a toddler weighing from 9 to 18 kg (approx. 9 months to 4 years)
Its design enables parents to seat their child securely without leaning over. This Group 1 car seat rotates 90° in the direction of the door opening and enables front-on access to easily lift your child in or out of the car seat and secure them in mere seconds.
