This is a great hate for the price, my daughter shakes it continuously and it doesn't move even an inch, my only small issue with it is the auto close doesn't always work but it's not that much of an issue I just have to check it everytime I go through it that it has indeed closed properly - Strengths:

We have two of these, one at the top and bottom of the stairs. Sometimes the auto close doesn’t always work but just have to tap the gate and it closes. There are very easy to open one handed very useful when have your hands full. They are easy to install and can be moved easily - Strengths:

We have three different branded stair gates, cuggl is defiantly the best we have, we are slowly changing all of them the cuggl. It gives you peace of mind that the stair gate closes behind you even if you forget to do it yourself. We have found his vital especially for the stairs. When you have your hands full it isn’t always easy to close the gates, however with this one you don’t need to worry about it. It is also simple for an adult to open, however trickier for a little one to manage to open, this has meant that even 5/6 year olds aren’t able to open it. Would highly reccomend! - Strengths:

This gate was a poor purchase. A bad decision! Did not like the quality at all. Wish it was auto-close and sturdy enough. For safety gates,i would prefer safety first. The extensions were not strongly built either. This is suitable but not preferable! - Strengths:

I really like this gate and the auto close feature is really handy. especially of you have other kids like mine that forget to close it lol.
the only problem I've had with this is that when I lift the gate to open it sometimes takes the whole gate out which means I have to pop the gate back into it's screw which can get a bit annoying. - Strengths:

Was delighted with ththe price of this and even happier when we set it up. Easy peasy pressure fit! However, a week later and the auto close not always shutting fully was getting a bit annoying. It doesn’t have much ompf! Saying that, we also realised that auto close is just a pain.. Especially once the little one is in bed and you don’t want the gate shut. After a fortnight we noticed the actual gate was coming apart. Not sure if it relates to our house being older and not particularly square but even when it was pushed back together it worked itself apart again. Useless really. Now relegated to a spare at Grandads house! - Strengths:

Description
The Cuggl Auto Close Metal Safety Gate fits thanks to a pressure mounted frame and features a double locking system to prevent children from opening it. Adults can easily walk through with the one handed opening feature after which it will swing closed and lock into place.
Fits openings from 75 to 82cm. Conforms to European Standard EN 1930:2011 - designed to provide protection for children under 24 months old.
