I liked the fact that it was so smooth, meaning this is ideal as part of the daily vitamins, a small baby has to eat.
Glass jars have been around a long time for baby food and I prefer this, which is a sustainable product than a plastic jar which can contaminate the food and add to the mountains of plastic we already have to deal with.
It's a great price, at under a pound and there is more than enough for a baby; unless you start to eat it yourself!
I will only allow my child to eat what I trust, and I do trust Cow and Gate - my mother herself fed me on their products. So, in trying these items before I have the baby, I know what I will be going to get in the very near future. - Strengths:

My baby loves this product. She first tried it at 6 Months and enjoyed it on its own and mixed into porridge or yogurt. Once opened the leftover fruit can be stored for 24hrs in the fridge which was perfect when she was unable to eat the whole jar. This product is easily available in most leading supermarkets and is a quick and easy way to get my baby to eat fruit. The texture is smooth and easy to swallow.Read more

I bought these product for my daughter. She loved it to bits, never had any indigestion problems. Good size, one per meal and has got good nutrition value for a baby according to their age. This jar is full of flavour and my daughter loved these, they taste really fruity in trying somw cow and gates fruit jars can be a gritty but it never bothered my daughter, I'd suggest a medium sized jar for this age as the jars are small - Strengths:

My daughter loves these she's nearly a year old and still prefers the jarred puddings to some of the puddings suitable for her age, they taste nice and not to sharp only down side to these are my daughter grabs the spoon to fees her self but ends up mainly on her clothes which can stain - Strengths:

We used this jar with our twin babies after purchasing a bundle of weaning food. It needed a good stir, but once this was done it was a great consistency for babies who have recently started weaning. The babies seemed to like the flavour and I tried some too as it smelt so good! It is also a good size so my babies didn't have it all in one go - good money-saving and, as it can be left in the fridge for 48 hours once opened, it got finished over the following two days!
