This is been by far one of the best things we bought for our new arrival. Being a first time mum i was worried i wasn't doing things right but at least i knew my baby was safe when she was sleeping and we would know straight away if thinking was wrong. - Strengths:

This is an excellent monitor it gives you complete reassurance that your baby is safe whilst in there crib. The base that goes under the mattress is very secure. I used this product for 4 years as my daughter suffers from seizures and it helped detect them every time. - Strengths:

Good product if you are worried about aids, it made me feel at ease at night and it good to see what temperature the room is.
Its good for a crib but if its in a cot and baby moves and is lying right at the top it doesn't pick up motion so it could be better to have the option of having a bigger or second mat.
The alarm is loud if it does go off and will wake you easily! - Strengths:

Great monitor have used with all 3 of my children one of which was premature and would only sleep on her front. This monitor have complete peace of mind and never had any false alarms in till the children were older and moved around more in the cot this was easily solved by moving the sensor mat to the middle of the cot rather than the bottom. - Strengths:

You can sleep soundly knowing you will be alerted if needed

The mat could be bigger to provide a larger area when baby starts moving in sleep

This monitor helped me get a good night's sleep knowing that I would be alerted if something was to go wrong. This is amazing. My little one would hold their breath during sleep sometimes and the alarm would be enough to jolt them back to take a breath. The mat however is a little small. Once baby is moving and rolling in sleep this mat doesn't seem to cover enough area in the cot so sets the alarm off as child is no longer on the mat. I have used this now for both children as it gives piece of mind. - Strengths:

This monitor was a big piece of mind when my little boy went into his own room however would prefer to have a camera mat combo as my heart skipped a beat when he accidentally rolled and the mat went off. Loved the safety element of the breathing mat as midwives terrify you with tales of cot death - Strengths:

This product is amazing and makes you feel very at ease. I've used this a few times and always feel that baby is safe because it alerts you if baby stops breathing or is taken out of bed etc. Only thing is that you need to remember to switch it off before you lift baby otherwise the alarm goes off and it is quite loud! - Strengths:

This product is genius! Gives total peace of mind, knowing that if your baby should stop breathing, you'll be notified. the sleek design of the monitor and receiver looks great in a baby room.
Took a little bit of learning and practising to get used to the functions etc, but once you do, its a breeze! Alarm sounds it loud and you'd be able to hear very well.
Once baby gets bigger and starts moving around more, I would recommend removing the sensor plate as if baby moves off it, the alarm will sound. But can still your the main monitor! Battery life when not on the charging deck is really good as well!. - Strengths:

When you're pregnant most of us mommies will see at least one post on Facebook, one article, A video online or a leaflet from the midwife about safe sleeping and how to reduce the risks of SIDS and cot death. I suffer from anxiety and the thought of this happening made me feel sick to the extent I had trouble sleeping eben before my eldest was born just researching ways to prevent it happening. This is when I came across this product and realised it was exactly what I needed to try and relieve the anxiety. It not only relieved the anxiety but it meant I was not consistently staring at my little girls chest in fear of her not breathing and I could get some sleep! Just be warned though if you take baby out of the cot without turning off the monitor after 20 seconds the monitor will start beeping to alert there are no breathing patterns so just a heads up to not get the fear of your life when doing them bedtime feeds!? - Strengths:

We used this with our first born and then bought another when we were expecting twins. We have great peace of mind and are using 2 at the same time in the same room.
We do occasionally get interference between the receivers so have to leave a certain distance.
The monitor pads needs to be bigger, we found if baby moves up to the top of bed the alarm goes off!
The monitors are easy to set up and assemble with the wires
As we have twins we’ve added stickers to distinguish between the boys, see the pic! - Strengths:

With my first child I was getting up every 5 minutes to check if she were still breathing, so I looked into breathing monitors. Then with my second child I got one before she arrived. I decided on this one as I know hospitals use them and the reviews were fantastic. I tested it first by laying s bag of sugar over it and it did go off. The noise is quite loud and it does come through the monitor a well as in the room itself. You can change the sensitivity on the mat too, too suit your needs. The parent unit it’s self is brilliant too, again it’s also very sensitive to noise! The only down side is the wires but I suppose the can’t really help that. We’ve also had to change the channel a few times as it has picked up other people talking, but their are 3 different channels to choose from so it’s not a massive issue! I would suggest anyone that is nervous to get one I can now happily go to sleep knowing my little girl is okay. - Strengths:

We loved this product: it was easy to use and gave amazing piece of mind. We took it on holiday to use while our baby napped and we sat on the decking, in case he woke and we couldn’t hear him.
The only downside is that sometimes it picked up and transmitted strange voices, but we attributed this to maybe mini cabs being on the same frequency. It only happened a few times and certainly wouldn’t put me off recommending this product. - Strengths:

I’ve used this for about 2 years for my son and still use it now, it’s very easy to use and even though my health visitor said not to use it as it can cause anxiety for the parents it actually did the opposite, we can both get a better night sleep at night knowing it will go off if needed, the only down side is that my sons a wriggler and moves all over so it does go off occasionally. - Strengths:

Have used this monitor for 3 years and will continue to use it with my new arrival. The pad is fab, monitor beeps quietly to let you know baby is breathing ok. Took the pad off when my daughter turned one and monitor still works great. Has temperature monitor so can check it’s not too hot or cold in her room. - Strengths:

These are brilliant would defo recommend these they don't only do sound they flash to indicate movement and the LCD display tells temp of room. If no movement is detected after a few secs it sounds an alarm, these have helped with my anxiety especially putting my child in own room. -

I had a tommee tippee movement sensor monitor for my first and thought it was amazing until it broke! I bought the angelcare when expecting my second and I’m so glad I did because it’s much better than the previous one! I feel complete peace of mind when using this monitor, that it will alarm should my sons movements decrease and stop. Only issue I’ve had was using is under a sleepyhead whereby it continually sounded the movement sensor alarm. The problem was easily fixed by unclipping the bottom of the sleepyhead so that it lays flatter and I am using the sensor pad religiously every night with complete confidence. - Strengths:

This product gave us such a peace of mind. Both of our children would only sleep on their stomachs and not their backs. Having this monitor allowed us to get some sleep, knowing they are safe. Obviously we continued to check on their safety, but this helped. - Strengths:

We loved our anglecare monitor. Offered us peice of mind at this tiering time. Once baby was moving around we used just the sounds part separately and it was brilliant. In the beginning I did forget to turn off a couple of time during feeds, triggering alarm, but quickly git used to it. - Strengths:

Great product for babies sleeping in own rooms. It's a very sensitive monitor and is easy to test. You do require a board to place the monitor on under the matress, but the design is simple, streamline and well thought out. It's pricey but worth it for the security it gives you. - Strengths:
